Two new species of oribatid mites, Dicastribates tenuisetosus sp. nov, and Liacarus unjangensis sp. nov. are described from Korea. Dicastribates tenuisetosus sp. nov. is easily distinguishable from a single known species, D. heterotrichus (Mahunka, 1984) from Paraguay by the presence of 14 pairs of distallv attenuate notogastral setae, the smooth rostral and lamellar setae, the relatively short and distally attenuating interlamellar setae, the relatively short sensilli with distinctly clavated head, and presence of two and six setae on epimeral region III and genital plate. Liacarus unjangensis sp. nov. can be easily distinguished from most other known species by the very wide lamellae which cover dorsally whole prodorsum, the presence of equal sized inner and outer teeth of lamellar cusps and the minute rostral, lamellar and interlamellar setae.

Four mite species (Acari: Scutacaridae: Scutacarus acarorum (Goeze, 1780), Chaetodactylidae: Sennertia alfkeni (Oudemans, 1900); Ascidae: Proctolaelaps longanalis (Westerboer, 1963), Laelapidae: Hypoaspis (Pneumolaelaps) marginepilosa (Sellnick, 1938) are found on the body of bees deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. The host bee species were collect in Democratic People's Republic of Korea; the found four species are collected at first time in Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

From the soil biodiversity study, we found a species, Phauloppia lucorum (C.L. Koch, 1841) in the family of Oribatulidae (Acari: Oribatida) from the straw mat covering the cherry trees during winter in 2011. This species inhabiting litter and soil of forest, moss and lichens on tree and stones is distributed in the eastern Asia and western and central parts of Europe. In this paper, we illustrate the diagnostic features of a new species with detailed diagrammatic representations and its geographical distribution.

본 연구는 벼의 줄기, 잎과 벼포기에서 채집한 날개응애류를 분류한 결과로 12종이 동정되었다. 그 등애들은 가시배흠응애, 넓은지게응애, 털나비응애 등의 기지종 3종과 밭소매응애(Protoribates agricola), 머리띠팔자기게응애(Scheloribates decarinatus), 벼팔자지게응애(Schelorlbates oryzae). 이리잔날개응애(Sacculozetes filosus), 참사다리응애(Punctoribates manzanoensis), 덧판지게응애(Paralamellobates ceylanica) 등 6종의 한국미기록종 및 Pelonbates sp., Scheloribates sp, Gaiumma sp. 등이다.

A new halacarid species, Agaue laeviunguis n. sp. from Youngil Bay, Pohang City, South Korea is described. In sharing the character combination of three dorsal setae on PE, lacking dorsal seta anterior to insertion of leg IV, three ventral setae on PE, female PGS adjacent to GF, telofemora devoid of fovea, well developed smooth cerotegumental lamella on all telofemora, presence of accessory process on all lateral claws, long gnathosoma, and a smooth seta on P2 in both sexes, this species resembles A. subglabra Bartsch from Australia. The species, however, is clearly distinguished from A. subglabra by its larger body, claws of tarsi II-IV without ventral pecten, and much more PGS in female. Description of proto- and deutonymphs are also provided.

제주도산 이리응애 4종인 Amblyseius (Amblyseius) barkeri, A. (A.) womersleyt, A. (A.) eharai와 Phytoseius (Pennaseius) hongkongensis를 보고한다. 그 중에서 한국미기록종인 Amblyseius (Amblyseius) barkeri(나팔이리응애)와 Phytoseius (Pennaseius) hongkongensis(홍콩이리응애)를 재기재하였다. Pennaseius아속은 한국에서 처음으로 보고된다.

한국의 나주 지방의 배 과수원에 서식하는 이리응애는 6종이었다. 이 가운데 A. bukeri와 p. nemotoi는 이 과수원에서 처음으로 보고되며, Proprioseiopsis속은 한국에서 처음으로 보고되었다.

32 mite species are listed from the Korean Peninsula. One species belongs to the order Prostigmata, family Cryptognathidae, the order Mesostigmata has 20 species and the order Oribatida contains 11 species. Four species from the listed 32 are new for the fauna of the Korean Peninsula, one species belongs to the order Prostigmata (Favognathus maritimus (Shiba, 1969)) and three new species are Oribatida [Camisia biurus (Koch, 1839), Camisia biverrucata (Koch, 1839), Camisia horrida (Hermann, 1804)]. The 28 of the found species are collected in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea; the others were collected in the area of Republic of Korea. Illustrations and short descriptions about the newly found and rarely collected species are given.

한국 연안의 조간대 석회조류 틈에서 채집된 짠물응애과의 1신종 Copidognathus koreanus를 기재한다. 본 신종은 C.aurorae Newell. C.curtus(Hall), C.richardi(Trouessart), C.unalaskensis Newell 등과 매우 유사하다. 신종과 이들과의 형태적 유사점 및 상이점들을 고찰하였다. 이것은 한국 해산 짠물응애류를 기록한 최초의 논문이다.
