Objective : This study is aimed to analyze the recent research trend of Sipjeondabo-tang (SJDBT) in Korea. Method : We searched Korean research database by using keyword 'Sipjeondabo-tang'. Databases are Korean Medicine Information System, Research Information Service System and Korean Studies Information Service System. We analyzed studies by research method, publication year, type of journal and subject of the study. Results : By analyzing studies published after 1990, we could find that experimental studies were primarily conducted in SJDBT study. During recent 10 years, the number of toxicity studies and components analysis studies is increasing. Among the SJDBT studies, the number of clinical study was only 1. Conclusion : We explored the recent research trend of SJDBT in Korea. As a result, We suggested three further research ways of SJDBT. Proposed research ways are exploring various effect of SJDBT, observing whether there is a difference of effect according to extracting and drying method, and conducting clinical research of SJDBT.

With the rapid development of China economy, many engineering projects with large scale and investment were constructed in China and some were the biggest ones in the world. With the development of engineering practice, great progress in the research of engineering management of China was made and a large number of research findings were embodied in content of research papers and were represented by technical words. To know the state of arts in the research field of engineering management in China, three major parts, namely title, abstract and keywords of research papers in last five years from three representative Chinese journals about engineering management were chose as research materials. Unlike western languages, there are no delimiters between the words of Chinese, so the maximum matching and frequency statistics (MMFS) method, a text segmentation technique of text mining Chinese, was presented to extract the features consisting of technical words, phrases and words from the research materials. Recent research and developing trend of engineering management in China were found by comparing and analyzing the difference of technical words in the research materials of last five years.

Construction Cycle Trend Survey, which survey total value of orders and realized amounts monthly, is a valuable statistics that used to quick grasp or forecast the trend of domestic construction business. In recent periodical survey quality diagnoses, few professional users named a problem that Construction Cycle Trend Survey could not get together with the current state of the construction industry. This study examined weather Construction Cycle Trend Survey reflects the economic sentiment of construction business or not. Paired t test was performed between Construction Cycle Trend Survey and Construction Business Survey Index (CBSI), and significant differences were verified.

In this paper, the climate change in Haiyan County in recent decades was analyzed in detail with the methods of moving average, Mann-Kendall non-parametric mutation test and wavelet analysis. According to the variation trend of meteorological factors such as temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, pan evaporation and precipitation in recent decades, the climate of Haiyan County has a tendency of drought, which is becoming more and more serious. From the results of the analysis, the sunshine hours and the air temperature in Haiyan County have an obvious upward trend. The average surface temperature has increased by 2.75 ℃ from 1976, and its largest increase occurred in the late 1970s and 1980s. At this stage, the average surface temperature increased by 1.37 ℃. The relative humidity has a decreasing trend that has decreased by 2.75％. From 1976 to the present, there are two quasi-3a cycles and one quasi-6a cycle. The precipitation and evaporation showed the opposite change trend, in which the trend of precipitation fluctuated upward, while the trend of evaporation showed a fluctuating downward tendency, which led to the serious loss of water in the feeding area. The wind direction in Haiyan County are mainly from west to east, and its wind speed has a trend of slight increase.

The purpose of this article is to explore recent developments in piracy attacks at the global level. This article provides an overview of global trend of recent piracy attacks and presents global counter-piracy efforts at the international and governmental as well as industry level. The issue of piracy has been a grave concern of the globe, becoming the biggest threat to the safety and security navigation and seaborne trade. Overall, piracy attacks in recent years have greatly diminished owing to multi-faceted counter-piracy efforts. However, Southeast Asia and West Africa have reemerged as an hotspot of piracy. A worrisome trend in these regions is that many of piracy attacks are committed by militant groups for financing their activities. As a result, the level of violence and the sophistication of attacks have escalated. The problem of contemporary piracy is beyond a particular region or coastal state, but a common concern of the international community. In order to address the global piracy problem, international cooperation should be further strengthened at the global level as well as the regional level. As a way of counter-piracy measures in Southeast Asian waters, the creation of a joint regional coast guard to patrol the highly piracy concentration areas needs to be considered.

The applications of white LEDs has been expanded from mobile phone to LCD TV as a backlight source recently and now are penetrating into the lighting market. With these changes new requirements for LEDs phosphors are demanded. In this point of view recent technology trend of phosphors for LCD backlight and lighting will be discussed.

NGOs occupy so high international position that it is said the age of NGOs or Renaissance of NGOs has came. Recently, they continuously succeeded in hindering and blocking large-scale international events through their violent struggles. This paper studied the concept of NGO, examples of NGO struggles during recent international events and stated anticipated struggles during ASEM III and their trend. Thereafter, with future prospect of NGO activities, some measures for successful 2002 World Cup and 2005 APEC were provided in this paper. The influence of the 'well-being' trend on the every day life of our society can be found by recent books, articles, and magazines. The purpose of this study is to analyze the well-being trend and its effect on the current knitwear fashion. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; (1) The 'well-being' trend is very different from the past life style and it will be a preceding life style in 21st century. (2) The preference for organic food and the promotion of 'colorful menu' came from the 'well-being' trend. And, the yoga, zen, meditation, aroma-therapy, spa, and massage are also under the influence of 'well-being' trend. (3) The Neo-Hippie look and Neo-Vintage look are connected with the 'well-being' trend. (4) The influences of 'well-being' trend on the current knitwear fashion are shown in the hand knitting (bulky knit & crochet), twin sets including cardigans, hand crafted details, natural colors, and natural materials.

In this study, we analysed impacts of the recent increasing trend of exceedance rainfall thresholds for separation of data set and different research periods using Quantile Regression (QR) approach. And also we performed significant test for time series data using linear regression, Mann-Kendall test and Sen test over the Korean major 8-city. Spring and summer precipitation was tend to significant increase, fall and winter precipitation was tend to decrease, and heavy rainy days in last 30 years have increased from 3.1 to 15 percent average. In addition, according to the annual ranking of rainfall occurs Top $10^{th}$ percentile of precipitation for 3IQR (inter quartile range) of the increasing trend, most of the precipitation at the point of increasing trend was confirmed. Quantile 90% percentile of the average rainfall 43.5mm, the increasing trend 0.1412mm/yr, Quantile 99% percentile of the average rainfall 68.0mm, the increasing trend in the 0.1314mm/yr were analyzed. The results can be used to analyze the recent increasing trend for the annual maximum value series information and the threshold extreme hydrologic information. And also can be used as a basis data for hydraulic structures design on reflect recent changes in climate characteristics.
