Sensor Nodes are composed of battery which cannot be easily changed. So, it is very important to reduce energy consumption of Sensor Nodes. In this paper, we implemented Sensor Network system using changed S-MAC to save energy with Zigbee. We deceased energy consumption of node by reducing duty cycle in ACTIVE part. According to experiment, using supposed algorithm is better than using S-MAC about $25\sim30%$ in energy consumption.
In this paper, an IEEE 802.15.4 LR-WPAN 868/915 MHz ZigBee transceiver for IoT systems was designed and implemented. Non-coherent demodulation was exploited to satisfy ${\pm}80ppm$ frequency offset recommended in IEEE 802.15.4 LR-WPAN. Variable bitrate was supported according to operation modes. SPI module was embedded to connect various MCUs. The designed Zigbee transceiver was described in Verilog HDL and it was synthesized and verified in $0.18{\mu}m$ process. Its gate count was about 32,000 gates.

In this paper, we propose an alternative method of communication to improve the reliability of in-vehicle networks by jointly using wireless communication networks. Wired Communication networks have been used in vehicles for the monitoring and the control of vehicle motion, however, the disconnection of wires or hardware fault of networks may cause a critical problem in vehicles. If the network manager detects a disconnection or faults in wired in-vehicle network like the Controller Area Network(CAN), it can redirect the communication path from the wired to the wireless communication like the Zigbee network. To show the validity and the effectiveness of the proposed in-vehicle network architecture, we implement the Electronic Stability Control(ESC) system as ECU-In-the-Loop Simulation(EILS) and verify that the control performance can be kept well even if some hardware faults like disconnection of wires occur.
We can find easily about researches or technical development that deal with grasping the location of an object with GPS(Global Positioning System) in order to use them as a useful information. Most researches or technical development on application of tracing have been developed for the purpose of tracing objects in broad area as physical distribution or transportation, but recently, there are many researches on tracing materials in premise area as a fork lift, carts, or the equipment of work. In general, a system that utilizes location information of objects needs data communication network to transmit location data and it ensures data communication network by using common networks(SK, LG, KFT) or wireless LAN. However these two methods need monthly payment for the rental fee or require considerable amount of investment for the early stage so it is difficult to use them merely for tracing premise subjects. This study was conducted to build a tracing system for premise area by local area RF relay algorithm with low cost applying RF relay algorithm to local area wireless communication(ZIGBEE, 424MHz, Bluetooth, 900MHz) system in order to supplement these demerits and included relay algorithm, RF locating information terminal, local area RF gab-fillers, a plan for collection server of locating information, and the way of realization as they are needed in this system. I consider that this study would be applicable with flexibility in the industry area that needs tracing solution within a specific area or needs ensuring data communication network, to transmit data in ubiquitous environment, by easier and more rapid way with lower cost.
In the present study, compact $0^{th}$ order resonant antenna for 2.4 GHz ISM frequency band is newly proposed. In case of wireless communication systems such as wi-fi, bluetooth and Zigbee, antennas with omni-directional radiation pattern are necessary because of the demands for uniformly received electric field strength without variation for direction. It is well-known that $0^{th}$ order resonant antennas are not only advantageous for miniaturization but also have advantage of maintaining omni-directional radiation pattern. The proposed antenna is composed of two-element array in which the size of unit element should be smaller than ${\lambda}/4$ correspondent to the resonant length of typical monopole antennas The proposed antenna which is placed at middle and upper side of PCB with $50{\times}50mm^2$ size is designed and fabricated within limited space of $8{\times}5mm^2$. The measured impedance bandwidth ($S_{11}{\leq}-10dB$) is about 100 MHz (2.4~2.5 GHz) which corresponds to quite wide bandwidth in comparison with the antenna size, and also the measured peak gain over the passband is more than 3 dBi which is thought to be slightly wider than the other $0^{th}$ order resonant antenna.
In the sensor network, many tiny nodes construct Ad-Hoc network using wireless interface. As this type of system consists of thousands of nodes, managing each sensor node in real world after deploying them is very difficult. In order to install the sensor network successfully, it is necessary to verify its software using a simulator beforehand. In fact Sensor network simulators require high fidelity and timing accuracy to be used as a design, implementation, and evaluation tool of wireless sensor networks. Cycle-accurate, instruction-level simulation is the known solution for those purposes. In this paper, we developed an instruction-level sensor network simulator for Telos sensor node as named TeloSlM. It consists of MSP430 and CC2420. Recently, Telos is the most popular mote because MSP430 can consume the minimum energy in recent motes and CC2420 can support Zigbee. So that TeloSlM can provide the easy way for the developers to verify software. It is cycle-accurate in instruction-level simulator that is indispensable for OS and the specific functions and can simulate scalable sensor network at the same time. In addition, TeloSlM provides the GUI Tool to show result easily.
This study is on kinetic light-emitting object control systems and the methodologies for research. The study explores the methodologies for researching and findings on kinetic light-emitting object control systems, which consist of multiple objects comprising multiple groups; the main control section that transmits the main control signals that correspond to each of the groups in order to display forms using multiple objects; multiple sub control sections that transmit sub control signals in correspondence to each of the objects in the corresponding groups from the above in accord with the main control signal; and multiple driving parts that control the length of the wires connected to each of the multiple objects according to the sub control signal.

With social interest, there hie been a lot of research on the Service Robot but now we are faced with the limitation of single platform. The alternative plan is the Ubiquitous-based Service Robot connected with a Ubiquitous network to overcome this limitation. Systems using RFID(Radio frequency Identification) and supersonic waves appeared for functions such as recognition of surroundings through Ubiquitous Sensor Networks. This was applied to the real robot and we have got good results. However, this has several limitations to applying to low power-based Sensor Network For example, if RFID uses a passive Sensor, the rate of recognition with the distance is limited. In case of supersonic waves, high power is required to drive them. Therefore, we intend to develop RSSI position recognition system on the basis of embodying a Sensor Network Module in this thesis. This RSSI position recognition system only measures RSSI of signals from each sensor nod. then converts them into distances and calculates the position. As a result, we can still use low power-based Sensor Network and overcome the limitation according to distance as planning Ad-Hoc Network.

In this paper, The correlation of the power consumption of sensor node is analyzed according to the analyze parameter in IEEE 802.15.4 star sensor network. And It is studied the influence on analysis parameter. The power consumption of sensor network in transmission process and average transmission power consumption drives to numerical formula. And CSEM WiseNET system measurement value is used. As a simulation result, The power consumption of sensor node in star network consist of 10 sensor nodes is more than 20 % that in single network in average. When beacon signal interval is 0.1 second in all frequency bands, the power consumption of sensor node in up-link is more than 2.5 times that in down-link in average. When beacon signal interval is 1 second and the number of sensor nodes increases to 100 and sensing data increases to 100 byte, the power consumption of sensor node increases to 2.3 times. And The superior performance of 2.4 GHz frequency band has than 868/915 MHz frequency band up to $6{\sim}12$ times.
In recent years, electric shock accidents due to electric leakage currents of household appliances such as computers, TVs, refrigerators, and LED lights are continuously occurring in homes and industrial buildings. And it is not easy to check the leakage current of each household appliances connected in parallel at the rear end of the module. In addition, the leakage current flowing through the path of the normal current other than the existing current leakage circuit breakers are installed in the distribution box, only the function to cut off the power when the leakage. Therefore, there are various disasters such as electric shock and fire caused by short circuit of household appliances, and the risk of such leakage current is seriously presented. In this paper, we propose a method to implement a leakage monitoring system that can be monitored at all times using Zigbee communication based on IEEE 80215.4, which has advantages in low power and low cost among short range wireless communication systems.
