In this study, we're going to look at the formation process of Youth film Festival and factors affecting that process. The Youth film Festival didn't appear suddenly in a day. There have been various trial regarding media education by civil society organizations (NGO) until the mid 1990s, principal Youth film Festival has been held from 1997s to 2001s and established a framework for Youth film Festival. There were some progress after those times and then in 2008 Youth film Festival faced some changes such as screening online, and responded rapidly to the current image industry and the cultural stream like the appearance of HD camcoder and smart phone till now. We can divide two areas regarding factors that affecting those formation process of Youth film Festival. First, they are explained as economic and social factors that the situation of South Korea extremely such as the efforts of civil society organizations (NGO), image technology and development of the industry, IMF bailout era and so on, second cultural and educational factors that the rise of virtual culture, the University entrance and results of awards. Thus Youth film Festival has been evolved in various affects, so we can look into the various sections of korea society through these formation process of Youth film Festival.

The theme of "youth love film" is a strong point in the Korean film industry and has made remarkable achievements in the overseas market. Jae-young Kwak is a famous Korean film director and screenwriter. He is good at shooting "youth love film" with beautiful pictures, exquisite emotions and rich imagination. His films have unique charm and characteristics. This paper expounds the image style, characterization and theme. First of all, from the perspective of image style for this paper, analysis of the film is how to use different narratives and lens language to create a movie's atmosphere, makes the transfer of drunk the oriental beauty. Secondly, the main focus is on the director to find a new way to shape the characters in the film, and pay attention to the description of details, foreshadowing and explaining the plot. Thirdly, based on the theme, this paper analyzes the profound meaning behind romantic films, which reflect the yearning and pursuit of modern people, and people should pay attention to and think deeply. In the modern economic globalization, countries culture mutual exchanges and cooperation, South Korea many outstanding movie worth exploring and research, by studying the Jae-young director Kwak youth love films, excavate its popular film in the market of reason, analysis of the works reflect the aesthetic characteristics, which sums up the experience of the youth love film.

As for the various pathological phenomena of the society which is getting worse without any improvement, the film paints the phenomenon nakedly with the cold and cynical gaze on the basis of realism. These attempts originated in the Chinese art world, and they cynically sketched a Chinese society that lost hope after 6·4. The cynicism of the art world contains meanings such as instruction, meanness, passion, indifference, and mockery. In particular, the distrust of the social system after 6·4 and the collapse of the Soviet and Eastern European socialist nations gave the Chinese people a skeptical view of socialism. This situation of the times has a cynical viewpoint to face as it is instead of prudent criticism. This cynical view was embraced by filmmakers who were not silent on The pathological phenomenon of society, and they were directed to films. is a film about the love, separation, suicide, frustration and reconciliation of youth in the era of identity confusion after 6·4. The characters in the film did not mention a single word about the state power that made them do it. based on the characteristics of women in northeast China and the murder that occurred around a woman with a beauty that was not like a laundry employee. Centered around the unresolved slice murder case, expressed human moral ambiguity that does not distinguish good fortune from human instinct for struggle for survival, and portrayed the scenery of a very cold northeast small city. But it does not show any criticism of the crime. Based on the true story of the 2000s, the portrays the uncomfortable aspects of China that established Chinese socialism.
