  • This paper proposes an efficient network architecture for reflective memory system (RMS). Using this architecture, the time for broadcasting a shared-data to all nodes can be significantly shortened. The device named topology conversion switch (TCS) is implemented to realize the network architecture. The implemented TCS is applied to the ethernet based real time control network (ERCnet) to evaluate the performance.

  • According to development of wireless communication technologies, we need not only high data rate but low data rate system of low power consumption. This low data rate system is utilized in the field of home automation, health care, sensoring and monitoring, etc. IEEE 802.15.4 LR-WPAN system is the best choice for realizing ubiquitous networking system. In this paper SoC Architecture for IEEE 802.15.4 Low Rate WPAN is designed. IEEE 802.15.4 Low Rate WPAN system serves the functions and realization of home area network. We propose the SoC architecture for 868/915MHz frequency band of IEEE 802.15.4 Low Rate WPAN system. The key issue is to design SoC architecture which provides the function of Low Rate WPAN system to meet the requirement of IEEE 802.15.4 standards.

  • On the recent, Architecture markets appeared new eyes about Architecture. 'Korea Young Architect Award' organized by the 'Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism' is the right.   • Traditional information systems in the Ministry of National Defense(MND) are insufficient about interoperability between all kinds of them. Also there is no the applicable architecture framework to develop information systems. The Architecture Framework(AF) is to provide guidance for describing architectures for both warfighting operations and business operations and processes in the MND. Therefore, in this paper we propose the MND AF to develop and manage information systems in the MND.

  • 본 논문에서는 인간형 로봇의 태스크 실행 중 자율 감정 생성을 위하여 Three-layered hybrid architecture에 기반한 감정 반응 시스템을 제안한다. Three-layered hybrid architecture는 Deliberative layer, Reactive layer Hardware abstraction layer의 3단계의 계층으로 되어 있으며, 모바일 로봇의 자율 동작을 위해서 개발되었다. 본 연구에서는 저자가 개발중인 안드로이드 EveR-2의 감정 시스템에 적용하여 로봇의 태스크 동작 중에 외부의 자극들로부터 자신의 감정을 생성하고, 생성된 감정과 태스크를 조합하여 자신의 행동을 변화시키며 인간과 상호작용하는 로봇 감정 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • This study indicates bed-transfer as the significant behavior of a ward and points out architecture that cannot meet the patient's need. It is examined that inpatient's behavior depends on visibility, psychological security, privacy & communication, control, support and this study applies them to analyze the selected cases. This study also emphasizes the supportive role of hospital architecture so that the function of a ward as a healing environment may be maintained.
