  • Optimization of process variables, including oxygen and water partial pressure and also an nesting temperature, was performed in batch-type process to fabricate YBCO films on LaAlO3 single crystal. In this work, YBCO oxide powder was used as a starting precursor for metal-organic deposition(MOD)method. The precursor films were fabricated in batch furnace and they were converted to the epitaxial YBCO films at the same furnace with varying the process variables. The oxygen partial pressure was varied from 100ppm to 2000ppm and the water partial pressure from 1.2% to 12.2%. The window for optimal P(O2) was narrow about 700ppm for batch-type process. YBCO films in bathc-thype MOD process were optimized at 740-770oC and P(H2O) of 2.3%-7.3%.

  • Three new polymorphic modifications were prepared by recrystallization under various conditions and characterized by DSC and X-ray crystallography. In pH 4.0 buffer at $37{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$, the polymorphic modifications showed significant differences in the dissolution rate. The dissolution rate of Mod. 4, amorphous form, was faster than that of marketed cefaclor (Mod. 1). When all modifications were stored at 52% RH, 95% RH and in silica gel desiccator, any polymorphic transformation was not observed.

  • A new precursor solution wilt low fluorine content was synthesized for MOD processing of coated conductors. In this study, the precursor solution for MOD processing was synthesized using F-free yttrium and copper precursor. It was shown that crack-free and uniform precursor films were formed after calcination in humidified oxygen atmosphere. Less than 2 hours were required to finish the calcination process. The relatively gradual weight loss during the calcination process is attributed to the feasibility of fast calcination profile. The calcined precursor film was converted to a YBCO film without any secondary phases after annealing in wet $Ar/O_2$ atmosphere. Fully converted film shows uniform microstructure and high critical current density. $(Jc=2.7MA/cm^2) $.

  • With the radical change of business environment, all service companies' employees are forced to provide many customers with high service quality every day, and the extra role(or organizational citizenship behavior) is more imperative than other industry. The purpose of this paper is to introduce Luthans & Kreitner's Organizational Behavior Modification(OB Mod) model to improve organizational citizenship behavior and service quality. With analyzing the relationships among target behavior(service quality), antecedents(OCB), and consequences(customer satisfaction), this paper reviewed OB Mod's 5 stages; identifying, measuring, functional analysis of the behavior, development of an intervention strategy, evaluation. This model has found to be useful in finding and improving troublesome employee behaviors in USA, but not been verified in Korea. Thus it is recommended to review the difference of organizational culture and practices before introducing the model.

  • The paradigm of the human experience through computer as a medium is moving from cultural interface to cultural software. Mod represents this paradigm shift in digital game culture. Until now, Digital game play focused on the immersive agency in the process of achieving the goals of the game. On the other hand, In Mod, play focus on generative agency in the process of creating and solving problems in game world. Through Mod, original game perceived as transformable data and creative material. Transformation and generation of such a game content through the user's Mod presents a sustainable model of the digital game.

  • The Loss of Offsite Power Transient at 77.5% power which occurred on June 9, 1981 at the Kori Unit 1 PWR (Pressurized Water Reactor) is simulated using the RELAP5/MOD2 system thermal-hydraulics computer code. Major thermal-hydraulic parameters are compared with the available plant data. The comparison of the analysis results with the plant data demonstrates that the RELAP5/MOD2 code has the capability to simulate the thermal-hydraulic behaviour of PWRs under accident conditions of this type with accuracy, except the pressurizer pressure and level. The pressurizer pressure increase is sensitive to the in surge now it is believed that the interracial heat transfer in a horizontal stratified flow regime may be estimated low and the compression effect due to insurge flow may be high. In the nodalization sensitivity study it is found that S/G noding with junctions between bypass plenum and steam dome is preferred to simulate the S/G water level decreasing and avoid the spurious level peak at trubine trip.

  • In this study, Simplified Method for the Atmospheric Correction (SMAC) radiative transfer model (RTM) used to retrieve surface reflectance from MODIS Top Of Atmosphere (TOA) reflectance (MOD02). SMAC code provides coefficients which were previously yielded by Second Simulation of the Satellite Signal in the Solar Spectrum (6S) for each satellite sensor. We conducted error analysis of SMAC RTM using MOD02 over comparison with MODIS surface reflectance (MOD09) which was provided from 6S. It showed that low accuracy values such as, $R^2$ : 0.6196, Root Means Square Error (RMSE) : 0.00031, bias : - 0.0859. Thus sensitivity analysis of input parameters and coefficients was conducted to searching error sources. Coefficients about $\tau_p$ (average AOD) are more influence than any other coefficients of $\tau_{a550}$ (Aerosol Optical Depth at 550nm) from sensitivity test. Calibrated coefficients of $\tau_p$ from regression analysis were used to surface reflectance which showed that improve accuracy of surface reflectance ($R^2$ : 0.827, RMSE : 0.00672, bias : - 0.000762).

  • The low temperature electron mobilities were investigated in Si/$Si_{1-x}Ge_{x}$ modulation Doped (MOD) quantum well structure with thermally grown oxide. N-type Si/$Si_{1-x}Ge_{x}$ structures were fabricated by a gas source MBE. Thermal oxidation was carried out in a dry $O_2$ atmosphere at $700^{\circ}C$ for 7 hours. Electron mobilities were measured by a Hall effect and a magnetoresistant effect at low temperatures down to 0.4 K. Pronounced Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) oscillations were observed at a low temperature showing two dimensional electron gases (2 DEG) in a tensile strained Si quantum well. The electron sheet density ($n_{s}$) of 1.5${\times}$$10^{12}$[$cm^{-2}$] and corresponding electron mobility of 14200 [$cm^2$$V^{-1}$$s^{-1}$] were obtained at low temperature of 0.4 K from Si/$Si_{1-x}Ge_{x}$ MOD quantum well structure with thermally grown oxide.

  • The KNUI (Korea Nuclear Unit 1) loss of offsite power transient as a design-base accident has been simulated using the RELAP5/MOD1/NSC computer code. The analysis is carried out using the best-estimate methodology, but the sequence and its assumptions are based on the evaluation methodology th at emphasizes conservatism. Important thermal-hydraulic parameters such as average temperature, steam generator level and pressurizer water volume are compared with the results in the KNU1 Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). The present analysis gives much lower RCS average temperature and pressurizer water volume, and much higher S/G water volume at the turnaround point, which may be considered to be additional improved safety margins. This is expected since the present analysis deals with the best-estimate thermal-hydraulic models as well as the initial conditions on a best-estimate basis. These additional safety margins may contribute to further validate the safety of the KNU1 in this type of accidents(Decrease in Heat Removal by the Secondary System).
