The archaeological site of Nambuk-dong, Yongyu Island, Incheon which goes back to the Neolithic making it difficult to identify character of site, To get information for identifying utility and character of Open-Air Hearths within the finds, an organic residues analysis was conducted on soil and stone sample, sterol was analysis to determine the originality of archaeological sample, then percentage of fatty acid was identify the species of sample. As a result, it is assumed that No. 9, 10, 12 finds once had shellfish-related materials remain, No. 32 find seemed to have animal materials, No. 42, 43 finds were related to plant. In conclusion, it seems that open-air hearths of Yongyu Island had utility mainly related to making seafood.

This study investigates the site and architectural space of Byung-Su Jo's traditional house on Yongyu Island in Incheon. The house is located on a peaceful, warm site that is well protected by surrounding mountains, such as Hyunmubong to the rear, Jwacheongyong to the left, Wubackho to the right, and Ansan in front. The house was designed with an open layout with a sarangchae and anchae. There is a spring on the left side of the sarangchae, and a stream auspiciously flows from the west to the east in front of the sarangmadang. The house generally faces south, but to avoid pressure by the height of Ansan in the south direction, it is slightly turned to the east. There is a wide, rectangular pond that covers the pungsu weak point of the empty open view between the right and left mountains. The sarangchae space is composed of front 6 Gan and side 3 Gan. The anchae space is also composed of front 6 Gan and side 3 Gan,and it has a typical L-shaped anchae layout for the middle region of Korea. There is no shrine in the backyard, where yongmag is descending from hyunmubong, and a jangdokdae is installed to the west direction of the anbang due to narrow and slope backyard space.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic aspect of sea transportation system between Inchon and Youngjong island in which Inchon international airport is being constructed. Total demand of sea transportation arising from in the airport and Yongyu Muwi leisure complex was estimated. To select optimum transportation route, environmental conditions in and around Inchon harbour and Youngjong island including the change of water depth by tide current, fog, rain, wind adn typhoon, ets., were investigated. The preliminary consideration on ships (size, velocity, transport capacity, price), routes, operational modes, terminals and berthing facilities were carried out. The transportation cost per passenger by sea transportation system was estimated to compare with that of land transportation system. It was found that sea transportation system proposed is competitive to the transportation system.

Two naturalized species, Glyceria declinata $Br{\acute{e}}b$. and Puccinellia distans (Jacq.) Parl. are herein newly reported from Korea. Glyceria declinata, 'Yu-Reop-Yuk-Jeol-Bo-Ri-Pul', was found along the Seomjin River, Gurye-eup, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do, as well as along the Gwangjucheon River, Sa-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju. It is distinguished from G. acutiflora by spikelets 15-20mm long and obtuse lemma. Puccinellia distans, "Cheo-Jin-Mi-Kku-Ri-Gwang-I", was found in Yeongjong Island, Incheon, Yongyu Island, Incheon and Chojijin, Ganghwa-gun. It is distinguished from P. nipponica by lemmas 1.8-2.5mm long, ligule 1-2mm long and the lower branches of panicle usually reflexed after anthesis.
