This study examined the life style of Korean-Chinese co]loge students in YnBian region of China and analyzed the purchasing behavior of clothing according to the life styles. The sample consisted of 296 undergraduate students of the YanBian University in China. The Questionnaires were used to collect the data and the data were analyzed by Sequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, $X^{2}-test$ and ANOVA. The major results were as follows : 1) Results of factor analysis showed that life styles of the respondents could be classified into 5 factors: the ostentatious sense factor, positive activity factor, circumspective economy factor, self-repletion factor and information conformity factor. 2) The respondents were divided into five groups according to the life styles; active shoppers, conspicuous compulsives, economic planners, self indulgers, and conspicuous planners. 3) Evaluative criteria in purchasing clothing, information sources and store patronage, differed among the five consumer groups. Especially, the conspicuous planners group differed from other groups in al1 aspects. 4) Gender, major, income and allowance were not significantly different among the groups. But, there were more one-child respondent in the ostentatious planned group, while planned consumer group had more respondents who were not one-child in their families.

Extradural meningiomas are relatively rare and those arising from spinal root are even rarer. Recently, a case of extradural meningioma arising from a spinal nerve root was surgically treated in our institution. This patient was a 19-year-old female presented with paraparesis and paresthesia. The mass was compressing the spinal cord at the level of fourth thoracic spine, and it was extended to the nerve root. At operation it was found to be originated from the fourth thoracic spinal nerve root. After removal of the tumor, the neurologic symptom and sign were recovered completely. Histoligic examination of tumor revealed as transitional type of meningioma.

Conflicting data have been reported on the effect of nicotine on gastric mucosal damage. To elucidate the effect of chronic intermittent nicotine on gastric mucosal damage, intragastric nicotine (5 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg) was administered twice per day for 9 days. Gastric mucosal damage was created by s.c. injection of a large dose (1.2 mg/kg) of pentagastrin followed by pylorus ligation for 6 hours. Nicotine treated rats showed reduced gastric mucosal damage about 50% of the control. To examine the mechanism of the protective effect of nicotine, gastric perfusion experiments were done. Basal acid secretion was not affected by intragastric or intravenous nicotine. However, pentagastrin-stimulated acid secretion markedly inhibited by a bolus injection of nicotine, and this response was dose-related. These data indicates that chronic intermittent administration of nicotine protects gastric mucosa against gastrin-induced gastric mucosal damage, and nicotine-induced inhibition of gastrin-stimulated acid secretion has an important role for the protective effect of nicotine. Considering reports concerning nicotine's aggravating effect on the gastric mucosal damage, it is suggested that the methods of administration of nicotine may be an important decisive factor of the divergent action of nicotine on the gastric mucosa.

As China enters the 21st century, China is strengthening its position as a world power in an international position. However, there are still problems with Three Agricultural(Agricultural, Rural, Farmer) and unbalanced urban and rural villages. China, as one of the largest and most populous nations, values the development of three farms. Strategies such as "The Construction Of New Socialist Countryside" were a policy to solve rural problems, But they were not enough to achieve breakthrough results. In order to achieve more effective results, the Central Committee of THE STATE COUNCIL proposed The Document No.1 of "Opinion on the Implementation of The Rural Revitalization Strategy" in February 4, 2018 and published "The Rural Revitalization Strategy (2018-2022 )". The Yanbian region, which is the subject of this study, is the home of Korean-Chinese tribes and the Korean autonomous region. As a minority of Chinese ethnic minorities, the Korean-Chinese has their own unique culture, and Yanbian has distinct regional characteristics. As The Rural Revitalization Strategy was raised, Villages is showing positive change in accordance with policy implementation in Yanbian. This study analyzed the current status of policy implementation of The Rural Revitalization Strategy in Yanbian area and analyzed the policy contents and performances based on the of Yanbian Daily News. Based on the results of the analysis, I would like to help in suggesting a more rational development direction and building the villages.

Four protostane-type triterpenes, alisol B 23-acetate (1a), alisol C 23-acetate (2a), alisol B(3a), and alisol A 24-acetate (4a), were isolated from the rhizome of Alismatis plantago-aquatica L. var. orientale Samuelson (Alismataceae) and eleven protostane derivatives (compounds 1-11) were obtained by selective modification from alisol B 23-acetate (1a). These compounds were investigated for their anti-complement activity against the classical pathway of the complement system. Alisol B (3a) and alisol A 24-acetate (4a) exhibited anti-complement activity with $IC_{50} values of 150 and 130 \mu$ M. Among the synthetic derivatives, the tetrahydroxylated protostane triterpene (9) showed moderate inhibitory activity with $IC_{50} value of 97.1 \mu$ M. Introduction of an aldehyde group at C-23 (10; $IC_{50} value, 47.7 \mu$ M) showed the most potent inhibitory effect on the complement system in vitro.

In recent years, there has been significant interest and research on the Comprehensive Index of Character in the Warring States Period, which has resulted in many scholarly achievements. Hence, it is necessary to comprehensively categorize and summarize these achievements. Some researchers have already done a good job in this categorizing and summarizing. However, there is still work to be done in the comprehensive collation of the seal character research of the Warring States Period. The purpose of this essay is to regionalize the "SiMaZhiXi" Seal collected by "GuXiHuiBian (古璽彙編)" 0024. The number 0024 seal is an ancient seal collected by "Guxihuibian" (古璽彙編). In general, this is a Chu seal from the Warring States Period. But some scholars think that the seal is actually from the Qi or Yan States.
