Three xanthid crabs from Chejudo island, viz., Forestia depressa (White, 1847), Pilodius nigrocrinitus Stimpson, 1858, and Palapedia integra (De Haan, 1835) are recorded as new to the Korean fauna. Up to data the Korean crabs of the family Xanthidae s. restr, consist of 15 species of 8 subfamilies.

Three xanthid crabs, Liomera margaritata, Neoxanthops lineatus and Pilodius miersi, are described and illustrated for the first time in Korea. Liomera margaritata and N. lineatus are the first species of their genera to be found in Korea. The three species represent extensions of their previously known ranges and bring the number of known species of the xanthid crabs to 25 from Korean waters.

Xanthid crabs, decapod crustacean, with the black coloured fingers, are easily found under rocks or stones in the intertidal or subtidal zones. Two xanthids, Etisus laevimanus Randall, 1840 and Paraxanthias elegans (Stimpson, 1858), were newly reported in Korean waters as part of continuous taxonomic studies on crabs. The genus Paraxanthias Odhner, 1925 was also reported for the first time in Korea. Of these, the examined specimen of P. elegans showed eight feathery hairs on the subdistal tip of the first gonopod, which differs from the description of Dai and Yang at 1991. Here, the descriptions and illustrations of these species are provided. Korean Xanthoidea currently consists of 30 species belonging to 25 genera.

Many members of xanthid crabs have the black coloured fingers and are found easily in the intertidal or subtidal zone. Three xanthids, $Danielea$ $noelensis$ (Ward, 1934), $Etisus$ $anaglyptus$ H. Milne Edwards, 1834, and $Gaillardiellus$ $rueppelli$ (Krauss, 1843), are newly reported from Korean waters as a result of continuous taxonomic studies on crabs. Of these, the present specimen of $D.$ $noelensis$ has rather projecting angle on the antero-external border of the merus of the third maxilliped differed from that of the original description. The genus $Danielea$ Ng and Clark, 2003 and the genus $Etisus$ H. Milne Edwards, 1834 are also reported first time from Korean fauna. Their descriptions are provided with illustrations. Korean Xanthoidea now consists of 28 species belonging to 24 genera.

Two species of xanthids, Actaea polyacantha (Heller, 1861) and Actaeodes hirsutissimus (R$\ddot{u}$ppell, 1830) collected from Jejudo Island, are newly recorded from Korean waters. Korean Xanthidae now consists of 22 species belonging to twenty genera.
