Currently, engineering design is carried out in a distributed manner geographically or physically. This imposes new requirements on the computational environments, such as efficient integration and collaboration in the Internet and network environments. Meanwhile, Web-based distributed design has led new paradigms in design and manufacturing fields. For example, Web-based technologies have reduced the product development time and to ensure a competitive product in order to exchange and interact of real-time design information that integrates the distributed design environment between departments as well as companies via Internet and Web. Hence, efficient data communication for design information sharing is the basis for collaborative systems in the distributed environments. Design data communication techniques such as CORBA, DCOM, and JAVA RMI have been considered in the existing research, but these techniques have some disadvantages such as limitations of interoperability and firewall problems. This paper presents the application of engineering design problems in which distributed design information resources are integrated and exchanged using Web Service for supporting XML and HTTP without interoperability and firewall problems.

Web services are key applications in business­to-business, business-to-customer, and enterprise applications integration solutions. As the mobile internet becomes one of the main methods for information delivery, mobile Web Services are regarded as a critical aspect of e-business architecture. In this paper, we proposed a mobile Web Services middleware that converts conventional internet services into mobile Web services. We implemented a WSDL (Web Service Description Language) builder that converts HTML/XML into WSDL and a SAOP (Simple Object Access Protocol) message processor that performs SOAP message handling, chain and handling of server requests. The former minimizes the overhead cost of rebuilding mobile Web Services and enables seamless services between wired and wireless internet services. The latter enhances SOAP processing performance by eliminating the Servlet container (Tomcat), a required component of typical Web services implementation. Our main contributions are to overcome the latency problem of current Web Services and to provide an easy mobile Web service implementation. Our system can completely support standard Web Services protocol, minimizing communication overhead, message processing time, and server overload. Finally we compare our empirical results with those of typical Web Services.

PKI provides good resolutions for the authentication of user in the situation not to meet each other, but it is not enough to provide the resolution of authorization in distributed computing environments. Especially, we offer a variety forms of the user Authentication, the Integrity and a security service of the Non-Repudiation, but an authorization Policy, because of the complexity with a lot of information, using m understandable XML, makes a simple and easy certificate to read, and we get the information from DOM fee and do a XML analysis and stardardized-method usage easily In this paper, we provide the AAS model being able to use with the solution of the distributed users' authorization, and we implement an authorization policy module, using XML. in the Linux-based Apache Web server.

Internet based on web service is growing rapidly and the effort to standardize the next generation web is wold-widely being made. When the web was developed for the first time, HTTP, HTML, and URL were designed based on the structure of text background. The purpose of this study is to understand what is ActiveX control and how to utilize it in developing dynamic web pages. For this purpose, some literature survey and experimental practices with PC were done to understand the differences among web programming technologies such as visual basic, java, XML web services. In order to scrutinize the functions of ActiveX controls and the comparison of their technology with currently introduced XML web service, a study on the history of Internet programming with a focused view on ActiveX control was also performed. With the knowledge of the fore mentioned, Actual design and building experiments of web pages using ActiveX control pad were implemented. The results show that Microsoft ActiveX controls, formerly known as OLE controls or OCX controls, developed to compete with java applet in internet battle fields, turn out to be useful in software reusability, cost-saving and time-saving etc. However, the use of ActiveX controls has been confined in window platform, Overall, this study was useful for understanding the usage of ActiveX controls in web pages.

Recently, the semantic web stands out in the next generation web. To realize the semantic web, the metadata integration is required between different metadatas on the web for metadata management. Otherwise, the integrated structure is needed to accommodate all of semantic, syntax and structure. RDF is one of the core technology and is more efficient framework for technology and interchange of metadata in the web, In this paper, for metadata management, we designed and implemented the RDF authoring system which converts each of metadata into RDF and makes it easy to manipulate and manage the different metadatas. For this, we researched about the RDF creation using Dublin Core metadata, the conversion of XML document into RDF, the RDF expression by N-Triple form and the integration of WSDL and RDF, and implemented the system on the lava platform. Basically, users using this system can integrate and manage metadatas easily even if they are not expert.

In the 21st knowledge society, libraries should consider OPAC redesign and functional performance improvement by using new web related technology. This paper studied and analyzed case studies of Web 2.0. Library 2.0, domestic and international web portals and libraries. Based on the research, this study implemented Open API and RSS reader and proposes its utilization plan as a next generation OPAC 2.0 service model which can improve OPAC search results and search service.

B2B e-business is an economic transaction formed between companies through various networks including internet. At present, e-business between companies partly applies information distribution between companies, but many enterprises expect that a corporate basic system will be gradually changed into XML basis if web service is earnestly materialized, so they are competing with each other in developing XML DBMS. Existing XML DBMS studies used XML DTD in order to represent the structure of XML document. Such XML DTD defines the expression of a simple type, so there are many difficulties in defining the structure of XML document. To cope with this, in this paper, the author will develop database schema generator utilizing relational database generally used in storing contents of data, on the basis of XML schema selected as a standard of W3C. Also, to store XML data, the author proposed the automatic conversion method of relational database schema that used XML schema.

The World Wide Web is transitioning from being a mere collection of documents that contain useful information toward providing a collection of services that perform useful tasks. The emerging Web service technology has been envisioned as the next technological wave and is expected to play an important role in this recent transformation of the Web. By providing interoperable interface standards for application-to-application communication, Web services can be combined with component based software development to promote application interaction and integration both within and across enterprises. To make Web services for service-oriented computing operational, it is important that Web service repositories not only be well-structured but also provide efficient tools for developers to find reusable Web service components that meet their needs. As the potential of Web services for service-oriented computing is being widely recognized, the demand for effective Web service discovery mechanisms is concomitantly growing. A number of techniques for Web service discovery have been proposed, but the discovery challenge has not been satisfactorily addressed. Unfortunately, most existing solutions are either too rudimentary to be useful or too domain dependent to be generalizable. In this paper, we propose a Web service organizing framework that combines clustering techniques with string matching and leverages the semantics of the XML-based service specification in WSDL documents. We believe that this is one of the first attempts at applying data mining techniques in the Web service discovery domain. Our proposed approach has several appealing features : (1) It minimizes the requirement of prior knowledge from both service consumers and publishers; (2) It avoids exploiting domain dependent ontologies; and (3) It is able to visualize the semantic relationships among Web services. We have developed a prototype system based on the proposed framework using an unsupervised artificial neural network and empirically evaluated the proposed approach and tool using real Web service descriptions drawn from operational Web service registries. We report on some preliminary results demonstrating the efficacy of the proposed approach.

Internet becomes absolutely necessary tools due to rapid progress of information technology. This paper propose multiplex Certification remote education agent system using XML digital signature to satisfy security requirement.
