A Remote Monitoring Server(RMS) server which uses Internet and World Wide Web is constructed for SMD in-line system. Hardware base consists of server computer, virtual SMD in-line system and other computers. Software includes assignment of server, RDBMS and various modules in server home page. Web browser provide production quantity, bad PCB quantity, error number and error message in virtual SMD module, user information in setup module, detailed error information in fault diagnosis module, fault history in fault history module and customer information in customer service management module. These functions of the RMS helps a decrease of non-operation time and a service response as fast as possible.

Recently. internet applications for efficient cyber education have drawn much interests. The world-wide web provides new opportunities for cyber education over the internet. This paper presents a virtual lab system which can be used on the world-wide web. The proposed virtual lab system provides the improved learning methods which can enhance the educational efficiency in electrical engineering experiments. If the students enter the virtual lab system on the web. they can make experiments on basic electrical and electronic principles through simple mouse manipulation. Since proposed virtual lab system is implemented to describe the actual lab system. the students can obtain similar experimental data through it. Several sample Java applets are illustrated as examples.

As the Internet has been growing, WWW(World Wide Web) based services were popularized and users using the service were increased excessively. Recently, the instances of communications between the applications and interaction applications using the Web services in the implementation of the business logics among the enterprises are spread widely. Therefore, it has been emphasized quality and security of web services. In this paper, we described standard trends for web servises. And we analyzed the security policies to protect user's informations. Eventually, We described a security enhancement method for web service.

A hyperlink on academic World Wide Web has started to be recognized as a form of collaborative communication network connecting individual researchers and research groups and expanding their collaboration relations by making possible easy and direct online contact among people or groups anywhere in the world. This paper describes the structure of academic hyperlinks embedded in universities' Web sites hosted at the 10 Asian countries and further, examines the association between the structure of the hyperlink network and collaborative communication pattern among those countries based on their frequency of co-authoring articles. This research found that the number of inter-hyperlinks among universities' Web sites was significantly correlated with the frequency of co-authored articles across the 10 countries.

Augmented multimedia is a technology to provide additional informations to mobile devices when multimedia contents like video, audio and images are being played. Person Wide Web, PWW, is a scheme for acquiring a link and browsing a corresponding web pages on mobile devices, in which the link is attached any object and space in real world. In this paper we proposed an augmented multimedia E-commerce application system based on PWW scheme which can browse additional informations from video play on public spaces, and implemented on Microsoft Silverlight platform. We showed that the proposed system can support effectively the augmented multimedia E-commerce.

Many people get plenty of information from World Wide Web, and the study of the factors that affect on reading task on web browser is presenting important issue. But domestic studies on legibility of Korean on web environment were relatively poor and the study about suitable text layout for skimming wasn't carried out also. At this point, this study was performed to investigate the effects of two types of reading, three levels of line length, and three levels of interlinear spacing on comprehension and reading rate when subjects read the materials on web browser. Reading speed, error rate, subjective preference and SACL(Stress and Arousal Checklist) evaluation were measured to evaluate the effects. Eighteen volunteer subjects participated in eighteen web document sessions with two different reading types, three different line lengths, and three different interlinear spacings. Statistical results from objective and subjective evaluations indicate that 50 characters per line of line length and 100 percents of interlinear spacing improved reading rate, overall error rates were reduced when reading normally, and SACL measures were increased at fast reading type. Consequently, in order to design text layout to retrieve information in WWW environment effectively, just applying guidelines of traditional printed material is not proper. Therefore, it is effective to consider reading type, line length, and interlinear spacing. Implications of these results and suggestions for the further study are also addressed.

In this study, We introduce the process of web usage mining, which has lately attracted considerable attention with the fast diffusion of world wide web, and explain the web log data, which Is the main subject of web usage mining. Also, we illustrate some real examples of analysis for web log data and look into practical application of web usage mining for eCRM.

XML(extensible Markup Language)은 W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)가 Web 상에서 Web 문헌 출판시 요구사항을 처리하고 Web 기술을 분산 문헌 처리의 영역으로 확장하도록 하기 위해서 현재의 HTML의 기능을 뛰어 넘는 새로운 개념으로 개발한 것이다. XML은 SGML 보다 학습, 이용, 구현이 용이하고 HTML보다 확장성, 조직화, 타당성 등의 장점을 가지고 있어 다양한 Web 문헌관리에 적합하다. 본 연구에서는 XML 기반의 Web 문헌관리시스템의 주요 모듈을 설계하고 시스템의 구성요소 및 주요 기능을 논의하며, 현재까지 개발된 XML 도구들을 소개한다.

정보 통신 기술의 발달로 엄청난 양의 정보가 World Wide Web을 통해 저장되고 공유된다. 특히, 사용자가 WWW을 이용하여 필요한 정보를 얻고자할 때, 가장 많이 사용되는 것이 Web search engine이다. 그러나 Web search engine의 algorithm 자체의 부정확성과 악의적으로 작성된 Web page로 인해 search engine 결과가 사용자의 요구와 일치하지 못하는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 여러 Web search algorithm 중에서 Web structure management 기법을 중심으로 문제점을 분석하고 이를 해결할 수 있는 수정된 algorithm을 제시한다. 마지막으로 제시된 algorithm이 spamming page를 filtering하는 과정을 예시하여 논증한다.
