장애인관련 정보시스템의 성과평가 및 개선 방안에 관한 연구 (The Study on Performance Evaluation and Improvement of the Information System for the Disabled)

  • Purpose: The study tried to suggest the ways to improve the national disability welfare information projects with evaluating the present condition of the projects. Method: Firstly, the study analyzed the disability information system and disability websites. Secondly, the study found out the problems of the registration of disability and management system through the situation analysis. Finally, the study conducted a survey of the disabled and the information system workers and performance evaluation of the information system. Result: The study offered a proposal of The Disability Unity Management System(DUMS) for the disability registration and management. When the disabled visit the hospital or the public health center, their information is registered automatically in The Disability Unity Management System(DUMS), which helps not to miss out the disability registration. Through this system, they are given the proper service which they need, and the information can be shared with the facilities providing the service for the disabled. Conclusion: The Disability Unity Management System(DUMS) contributes significantly in avoiding the repetition of the support for the disabled and improving the quality of service.

Effect of disabled facility worker's social support on their job satisfaction

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in social support and job satisfaction of disabled facility workers according to their general characteristics and job characteristics, and to understand the effect of social support on job satisfaction. A questionnaire was conducted against 143 disabled facility workers in D metropolitan city, from 5 January to 29 February 2016. The results of the study are as follows: first, no significant difference was found in the social support of disabled facility workers according to their general characteristics, and only the factor of job area showed significant difference in social support according to job characteristics. Secondly, there was no significant difference in job satisfaction of disabled facility workers according to their general characteristics or job characteristics. Thirdly, support of the superior, as a sub-factor of social support recognised by the disabled facility worker, was found to have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. This study seeks to become foundational data for the development of plans to improve the job satisfaction of disabled facility workers.

  • 본 연구는 정신재활시설에서 진행하고 있는 정신장애인 직업재활서비스에 대해 정신재활시설의 직업재활 실무자들은 어떠한 인식을 갖고 있는지 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 정신장애인 직업재활서비스의 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 정신재활시설에서 제공하는 직업재활서비스와 관련된 자료를 수집하였고, 직업재활을 담당하고 있는 실무자들을 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰(FGI)를 실시하고, 이 자료를 분석하여 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 정신재활시설에서 직업재활서비스의 정체성을 찾도록 매뉴얼과 지침의 정비가 요구되었으며, 직업재활서비스에 참여하는 근로자에게 맞는 세부적인 기준이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 타 장애인과 동등하고, 정신장애인의 특성에 맞는 직업재활서비스의 운영을 기대하고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로, 직업재활서비스의 구체적인 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.

장애인 복지시설 유형에 따른 급식관리 실태 조사 (Survey of Foodservice Management Status according to Welfare Facility Type for Disabled Persons)

  • This study aimed to determine foodservice and hygiene management statuses at welfare facilities catering to disabled persons by facility type to provide basic data for foodservice management guidelines. An online survey was distributed to workers at 1,984 welfare facilities for disabled persons in Korea, and 531 facilities responded, which represented a response rate of 26.8%. The survey requested general information about the facilities, facility users, meals, hygiene, and management. Statistical analyses were performed, and frequency analysis and the chi-square test were used to investigate responses by facility type. The survey results revealed that daycare centers were most common and accounted for 27.4% of responses. Residential facilities for the severely disabled and sheltered workshops accounted for 16.9% and 16.4%, respectively, and residential facilities by disability type accounted for 13.0%. The presence of dietitians at welfare facilities varied by facility type. Welfare centers for the disabled (94.7%) had the highest percentage of dietitians, followed by residential facilities for the severely disabled (87.8%). On the other hand, sheltered workshops and daycare centers for disabled persons had the lowest percentages of dietitians (10.3% and 4.1%, respectively). This study highlights the variations that exist in foodservice management across different welfare facilities for disabled persons and emphasizes the challenges faced by those responsible for managing foodservices and maintaining hygiene, particularly in large facilities with no dietitians. Therefore, we recommend tailored meal management guidelines be developed for each type of welfare facility for disabled persons.

장애인복지 소비자주의에 대한 사회복지전문직의 주관적 개념화 분석 (The Study on the Subjective Conceptualization of Social Work Professional to Consumerism in Social Welfare for the Disabled)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 장애인 복지의 제공자 중심의 서비스를 극복하기 위해 새로운 대안으로 부상하고 있는 소비자주의에 대한 사회복지사들의 주관적 개념화를 파악하기 위한 것이다. Q 방법론을 통해 사회복지사들의 소비자주의에 대한 주관적 개념은 임파워먼트형, 시장기제형, 다중개방형, 전통가치형 등 4가지 유형으로 도출되었다. 이들은 각각 소비자주의에 대한 특정적 확장적 차원에 의해, 전통적 개혁적 차원에 의해, 수단적 목적적 차원에 의해 인식되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 우리 사회에서 모호하게 이해되고 있는 소비자주의 개념을 구체화함으로써 소비자 친화적인 정책 및 실천 프로그램과 전문가 교육 프로그램 개발에, 그리고 소비자주의를 지향하는 장애인복지의 정책, 실천현장, 이론, 운동 등 제 영역들 간의 명확한 의사소통을 원활히 하는데 기여할 것이다.

System Dynamics Modeling for Policy Analysis of Occupational Injuries

  • Purpose. Because traditional statistics approach had limitations in learning future forecasting and major factors causing occupational injuries in each industry, this paper develops a model forecasting and evaluating occupational injury rate by using a system dynamics model through the analysis of the industry injury statistics and the project for industry injury prevention. Method. The model of this paper consists of 12 total models such as a model of employees, of industrial disaster victims, of injury rate, etc.; In the analysis of firm size, it is classified and developed according to 12 groups on the basis of the number of employees, and in the analysis of industrial classification, it is done according to 10 total business fields such as manufacturing business, construction one, etc. Results. This paper suggests the methodology which forecasts industry injury rate by business field and size on the basis of developed model, and evaluates an industry injury prevention project from various angles. Conclusions. This paper deduced problem through the analysis of an industry injury by business fields and a comparative analysis of foreign cases, and analyzed to affect industry injury prevention by industry. And it also analyzed actual condition of industry injury, and did a difference in the level of safety consciousness according to the general characteristics of workers and occupational safety and health education related characteristics. In result, this paper suggests that analyzing occupational injury related factors, a safety budgetary allocation, and industry injury related factors can reduce illness costs such as employees' injury and medical care, and also assist cost for a disability.

지적장애인거주시설 생활재활교사의 직무수행 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Work Experience of the Life Rehabilitation Teacher in Residence Institution of Mental Retardation)

  • 본 연구는 지적장애인거주시설에서 근무하고 있는 생활재활교사의 직무 수행경험을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 즉, 생활재활교사들의 직무수행 경험에 대한 탐색을 통하여 이들의 역량을 강화하고 지적장애인거주시설 운영의 개선점을 모색할 수 있는 개입방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 최소 1년 이상 근무한 생활재활교사 7명이 연구 참여자로 참여하였다. 본 연구결과는 생활재활교사들의 직무수행과정에서 나타나는 경험의 의미를 진솔하게 나타내주고 있으며, 연구진행시 연구 참여자들의 솔직한 이야기를 통해 심층면담이 진행되면서 의미 있는 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 연구 참여자들이 기술 한 자료에서 나타난 의미 있는 진술 중 의미가 중복된 진술을 제외한 60개의 주제, 15개 주제모음, 4개의 범주로 구성하였다. 4개의 범주로는 생활재활교사로의 시작, 생활재활교사로 적응, 생활재활교사의 아픔, 성장과 바람이었다. 본 연구결과는 지적장애인거주시설 생활재활교사들의 전문성 확보와 나아가 지적장애인거주시설 운영 개선방안 도출에도 기여할 것으로 사료된다.
