본 연구는 초등학교 5~6학년군 수학 교과서와 익힘책에 사용된 어휘의 적정성을 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 5~6학년군 수학 교과서와 익힘책으로, 수학 교과서의 본문 차시, 수학 교과서의 본문 이외 차시, 익힘책의 본문 차시를 분석하였다. 어휘 적정성 분석은 9등급 어휘 체계에 따라 어휘 난이도 측면에서 이루어졌으며, 어휘 빈도 분석도 함께 실시하였다. 어휘 적정성 분석 결과, 교과서 및 익힘책에 제시된 어휘 중 5~6학년 수준보다 높은 등급의 어휘는 10% 미만으로 대부분의 어휘는 5~6학년 학생들의 수준에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만, 일부 어휘의 경우 학생 수준보다 어휘 수준이 높았으며 어휘의 의미를 맥락상 유추하기 어려운 경우도 있었다. 어휘 빈도 분석 결과, 5~6학년군 수학 교과서의 본문 차시에 공통적으로 방법, 알아보다, 수, 이야기하다, 나타내다 등의 어휘가 많이 사용되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 차기 5~6학년군 수학 교과서 개발과 실제 수업 시 적정한 어휘 사용에 관한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

Purpose: This study presents the process of designing workbooks for advance care planning appropriate for the Korean cultural setting and describes actual case studies. Methods: This study focused on single inductive case studies of the utilization of an advance care planning workbook and recruited individual participants. Results: The workbook for adolescents contained six sessions and the workbook for children contained seven sessions. The workbook sessions led to four major discoveries: 1) considering the Korean cultural context, discussions on life and death must be held indirectly; 2) the role of the counselor as a supporter is crucial for the workbook to be effective; 3) the workbook must be accessible regardless of the seriousness of the illness; and 4) patients must be able to make their own choice between the workbook versions for children and adolescents. Six facilitating factors improved engagement: 1) the role of the counselor as a supporter; 2) building trust with the patient; 3) affirming freedom of expression on topics the patient wished to avoid talking about; 4) having discussions on what private information to keep secret and to whom the information can be disclosed; 5) discovering and regularly discussing relevant topics; and 6) regular communication and information-sharing with the patient's medical service providers. Conclusion: It is necessary to build on actual case studies regarding workbooks for children and adolescents in order to expand the usage of these workbooks to all relevant medical institutions in Korea.

본 논문은 제7차 초등학교 수학과 교육과정에서 제시하고 있는 통계 지도 목표 및 내용을 살펴보고, 개정 교육과정에서 변화된 내용을 분석하였다. 또한 수학 교과서와 익힘 책에서 교육과정의 기본적인 취지를 어떻게 구현하고 관련 세부 내용을 어떻게 구체화하고 있는지 알아보기 위해, 그래프별로 지도 방법을 분석하고, 학생들의 그래프 이해 수준에 따라 교과서와 익힘 책의 문제를 상세하게 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 초등학교 통계 내용과 관련하여 차기 교과용 도서 개발에 기초적인 자료 및 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

The concept of variable is a big idea to develop algebraic thinking. Variable has multiple meanings such as the unknown, a tool for generalization, and the relationship between varying quantities. In this study we analyzed in what ways the meanings of variable were presented in the current elementary mathematics textbooks and workbooks. The results showed that the most frequent meaning of variable was 'the unknown', 'a tool for generalization', and 'the relationship between varying quantities' in order. A close look at the results revealed that the same symbol was often used in representing different values of variable as the unknown. In taking variable as a tool for generalization, questions to provoke generalization were sometimes included not in the textbooks but in the teachers' manuals. The main focus in dealing with variable as the relationship between varying quantities was on finding out the dependent values compared to the independent ones. Building on these results, this study is expected to suggest implications for how to deal with variable concept in elementary mathematics instructional materials.

The revised mathematics education curriculum in 2007 decided to introduce mathematics workbooks to the textbook system, which were supplemental textbooks to support mathematics teachers' teaching and students' learning in level-based classroom. This study is to find the field status whether the middle school mathematics workbooks are currently used in the school to be in line with the original intention and purpose and to discuss the improvement direction and effective utilization idea which modification and amendment shall be made for the effective utilization in the field. To achieve the goal of this study, the inquiry survey was made from 75 middle school teachers of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade in the middle schools where the moving classing for each level(or class in each level)has been performed with provision of the questionnaire sheet for the understanding of the teachers for the utilization status of the mathematics workbook to solve such study task.

본 연구는 기존의 계산 오류 연구 결과가 초등수학 지도에 적극 활용되지 않는다는 점에 착안하여, 계산 오류 연구 결과가 최근의 초등 수학 교재에서 어느 정도 반영되고 있는지 그 실태를 파악하고, 더 나아가 미래 교재 개발을 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 교재의 분석 기준을 마련하고, 이를 토대로 제6차와 7차 교육과정의 수학 교과서, 수학 익힘책, 그리고 교사용 지도서를 계산 오류 활용이라는 관점에서 분석하였다 분석 결과 수학 교과서에서는 제6차와 7차 공통적으로 계산 오류가 활용되지 않았으며, 7차의 경우는 수학 익힘책, 교사용 지도서에서도 그 활용도가 극히 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 분석결과를 토대로 차기 교육과정에서의 수학 교재 개발에 대한 시사점을 간략하게 정리하였다.

본 연구는 초등학교 3~4학년군 수학 교과서 및 익힘책에 사용된 어휘의 적정성을 살펴보았다. 연구 대상은 3~4학년군 수학과 수학 익힘책으로, 수학의 본문 차시와 본문 이외의 차시, 수학 익힘책의 본문 차시로 구분하여 분석을 실시하였다. 어휘 적정성 분석은 9등급 어휘 체계에 따라 이루어졌으며, 빈도 분석도 함께 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 수학 교과서 및 익힘책에 제시된 어휘 중 3~4학년 수준보다 높은 등급의 어휘는 약 3~8%로 나타났다. 높은 등급의 어휘의 경우 학생들의 이해를 돕기 위해 그림과 함께 제시되기도 하였지만, 일부 어휘의 경우 그림이 제시되어 있지 않거나 그림에서 어휘의 의미를 제대로 파악하기 어려운 경우도 있었다. 빈도 분석 결과 3~4학년군 수학 교과서의 본문 차시에 공통적으로 알아보다, 나타내다, 수, 몇, 방법 등의 어휘가 많이 사용된 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 수학 교과서 개발과 관련하여 학생들의 수준에 적합한 어휘 사용에 관한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

본 연구는 제7차부터 2009 개정 교육과정에 제시된 몫으로서의 분수 관련 내용을 바탕으로 수학과 교과용 도서를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 몫으로서의 분수와 관련하여 현재 수학과 교과용 도서에 몇 가지 재고의 여지가 있는 부분이 드러났다. 첫째, 제7차 수학과 교육과정에 비해 2007 수학과 교육과정에서 몫으로서의 분수를 다루는 비중이 크게 줄었다. 둘째, 3, 4학년에서 배우는 자연수의 나눗셈 상황과 5학년에서 배우는 몫으로서의 분수 상황이 자연스럽게 연결되어 있지 않고 분리되어 있다. 셋째, 교과서에 제시된 문장제, 모델 및 분할전략, 형식화과정들이 어느 한 부분에 집중되어 있거나 지나치게 약화되어 있다. 이에 대한 논의를 바탕으로 초등학교 수학교과서의 몫으로서의 분수 관련 내용 구성 및 지도 방향에 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

본 논문은 제7차 및 개정 수학과 교육과정에서 제시한 분수의 곱셈과 나눗셈 지도 내용을 바탕으로 관련 내용을 다루는 현행 수학교과서와 익힘책을 상세하게 분석하였다. 우선 전반적인 지도 내용과 관련하여 지도시기의 적절성, 지도계열의 연계성, 차시구성의 적절성을 탐색한 후, 구체적으로 교과서의 내용 전개를 감안하여 각 연산별로 제시된 문장제의 유형과 빈도, 활용된 시각적 모델의 유형과 빈도, 계산방법과 원리의 형식화 과정을 세부적으로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 현재 개발 중인 수학교과용 도서의 기초 자료 및 구체적인 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 과학 교과용 도서에 나타난 과학 글쓰기 과제를 교과용 도서에 제시된 형태와 글쓰기 구성 요소 분석틀을 이용하여 분석하고자 하였다. 이 연구를 위해 2007, 2009, 2015 개정 초등학교 과학 교과서와 실험관찰에 나타난 과학 글쓰기 과제를 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 과학 글쓰기 과제의 형태를 분석한 결과 2007 개정에서 2015 개정으로 교육과정을 거치면서 과학 글쓰기가 제시된 교과용 도서가 줄어들고, 과제가 명시되지 않은 형태로 변화하였다. 그리고 2009 개정 5~6학년군 과학 글쓰기 과제가 글과 그림으로 제시되어 가장 바람직한 형태로 나타났다. 과학 글쓰기 과제를 글쓰기 구성 요소 분석틀을 이용해 분석한 결과 교육과정과 학년군별로 차이가 있었으나 일부 하위 요소에 치중되는 경향을 보였다. 그러나 2007 개정 5~6학년군에서 가장 다양한 구성 요소가 반영된 과학 글쓰기가 제시되고 있었다.
