The importance of eWOM (electronic word-of-mouth) communication through online communities is increasing on a daily basis. This study analyzed how the relationship between eWOM (electronic Word-Of-Mouth) factor and eWOM communication depends on the cultural orientation of users in the online community. The research model was developed based on four cultural orientations of individual affect Social tie and usefulness. The model consists of variables such as social tie and perceived usefulness as predecessors of eWOM, four dimensions of cultural orientation (Horizontal Individualism, Horizontal Collectivism, Vertical Individualism, Vertical Collectivism), and eWOM. The model was tested empirically using the PLS (partial least squares) structure equation model. Survey was conducted for online community users in South Korea. Data was statistically validated whether fits on research model. The study results reveal that Social Tie have a positive effect on Perceived Usefulness. Social Tie and Perceived Usefulness have a positive effect on eWOM. 3 of cultural orientations (HC, VI, VC) have a positive effect on Social Tie. Only one of cultural orientations (HC) have an negative effect on Perceived Usefulness. Especially, horizontal collectivism (HC) shows strong correlation with perceived usefulness, whereas vertical collectivism (VC) shows weak correlation with perceived usefulness andvertical individualism (VI) shows strongly correlation with social tie, whereas horizontal individualism (HI) shows weak correlation with social tie. Based on the study results, customized service strategy could be formulated according to the different vertical styles and various eWOM factors.
The purpose of this study was to analysis how perceived beauty service quality, perceived value influenced on purchase intention of customers. Moreover, this study was suggested strategic solutions for beauty managers and employees to build efficient marketing strategies in order to maximize customer satisfaction. For research method, SPSS 12.0 program was used and for the accuracy of precision of a measuring instrument reliability test was applied. And then simple and multiple regression analysis were performed to examine the effects of independent variables to dependent variables to dependant variables. The results of this study were five folds: the higher perceived service quality of beauty service was, the higher perceived value, satisfaction, word-of-mouth, and intention of revisiting were; the higher perceived value was, the better satisfaction, word-of-mouth, and intention of revisiting were; technical service quality was single most important factor affecting influence on perceived value, satisfaction, word of mouth, intention of revisiting, and functional service quality and physical service quality were listed second and third.

This paper is an empirical study especially to understand recent Chinese internet banking users' behavior and intentions through the process quality, outcome quality, customer satisfaction, reuse and word of mouth on internet banking service. The results of this study are as follows. First, percieved process quality of internet banking service affects the outcome quality, and both quality have a direct relation to customer satisfaction. It is found that Chinese internet users perceive a difference between process quality and outcome quality of internet banking service. And the reuse of the internet banking is decided by customer satisfaction as well as the word of mouth of the internet banking. For successful internet banking business in China, internet marketers should recognize that the service quality consists of the process quality and the outcome quality, and they should organize a new campaign that takes this information into consideration. And considering the process quality effect, they should pay attention to service process as well as the direct merit of services.. And if an internet banking service properly meets customer demands, internet users would constantly use internet services and would share good experiences with their neighbors. Therefore the result of our study will be of working-level help for financial company in China.
This study examines the effects of evaluation criteria for natural cosmetics on purchase and word-of-mouth intentions according to the LOHAS class. A survey was conducted from Feb. 2 to 17, 2013 and a total of 410 responses were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. The results of this study are described below. First, evaluation criteria for natural cosmetics had four dimensions - practical, aesthetic, promotional, and social criteria. Second, for the upper LOHAS class, all four dimensions of evaluation criteria for natural cosmetics were important relative to the middle and lower classes. Third, for the upper and middle LOHAS classes, purchase intentions were influenced by practical criteria. However, evaluation criteria had no effect for the lower LOHAS class. Fourth, the upper LOHAS class considered practical criteria, the middle LOHAS class considered practical and social criteria, and the lower LOHAS class considered aesthetic criteria, As a result, word-of-mouth intentions were influenced by evaluation criteria for natural cosmetics.
Although motivation and information search have both been studied continuously and separately as important marketing strategies, the relation between cause and effect has received little research attention. Therefore the objective of this study was to research the causal relationships between motivation and information search method. Frequency analysis and reliability analysis, factor analysis, and SEM(Structure Equation Model) were adopted to analyze the data. Motivation was divided into 5 factors which significantly influenced information search method. Factor 1, 'Reception and congratulation', influenced information search positively through 'newspaper, magazine', and 'word of mouth' but negatively through 'TV-advertising' and 'Flyer, Press copy'. Factor 2, 'Change of dietary life', influenced positively 'TV-advertising'. Factor 3, 'Economic saving', influenced positively 'newspaper, magazine', and 'the e-mail's advertising' Factor 4, 'Preference motivation', influenced negatively 'word of mouth' Factor 5, 'Advertisement and companion's need', influenced positively 'newspaper, magazine', and 'the e-mail's advertising' but negatively 'TV-advertising' As a result, customers appeared to choose various information search methods according to their eating-out motivation. 'The e-mail's advertising', and 'word of mouth' are popular among customers' information search methods. Therefore, food-service corporations need to try eliminating negative images of various advertisements and activate positive word of mouth marketing, promotion through internet.
The hypothesis testing on the impact relationship of patterning, reliability, kindness and credibility, which are perceived as choice attributes in a coffee shop laid out in this study, showed that they are fit to the models of this study. They also bad a direct repercussion on customer satisfaction, and the customer satisfaction equally affected revisit and word-of-mouth intention. This results show that when the patterning and reliability, and employees' kindness and credibility based on the fresh image in the shop serve as the foundation, its customers also affect satisfaction-maximization, leading to the revisit of the satisfied customers and positive word-of-mouth.
Online communities are an important source of electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM). However, few studies have examined the use of such messages within the Middle Eastern context. This study focuses on Saudi women as members of an online beauty forum. Previous work suggested a mediating effect of gender, with women being more likely to trust word-of-mouth and follow it up with a purchase. A conceptual model with a theoretical underpinning from existing contributions in literature provides the basis of a coding framework for the message characteristics that influence members' e-WOM adoption. A total of 310 threads and 2200 messages coded into 5725 units were content analyzed to demonstrate cases where e-WOM was adopted and indicate further continuance intention with members returning to the forum. A new category of 'community bonding' was created from the content analysis given the prevalence of emotional aspects in messages. Emotion expressed in messages, often expressed in religious terms, is as influential and important as the cognitive aspects of community bonding.

Nowadays, online word-of-mouth has become a powerful influencer to marketing and sales in business. Opinion mining and sentiment analysis is frequently adopted at market research and business analytics field for analyzing word-of-mouth content. However, there still remain several challengeable areas for 1) sentiment analysis aiming for Korean word-of-mouth content in film market, 2) availability of machine learning models only using linguistic features, 3) effect of the size of the feature set. This study took a sample of 10,000 movie reviews which had posted extremely negative/positive rating in a movie portal site, and conducted sentiment analysis with four machine learning algorithms: naïve Bayesian, decision tree, neural network, and support vector machines. We found neural network and support vector machine produced better accuracy than naïve Bayesian and decision tree on every size of the feature set. Besides, the performance of them was boosting with increasing of the feature set size.
