Purpose: This study was to investigate the resuscitation outcomes and the clinical characteristics of non-traumatic drug-induced out-of-hospital cardiac arrest by analyzing data from a single institution's registry. Method: We conducted a retrospective study of 795 patients who came to the emergency department with non-traumatic drug-induced out-of-hospital cardiac arrest during the period $1991{\~}2004$. Only patients over 18 years of age were included. Clinical characteristics. variables associated with cardiac arrest, and data during resuscitation were obtained from our cardiac arrest database. Patients were divided into two groups: drug-induced cardiac arrest (drug group, n=33), and non drug-induced cardiac arrest (non-drug group, n=762). Results: Spontaneous circulation was restored in 23 ($72{\%}$) patients in the drug group and in 314 ($45{\%}$) patients in the non-drug group ($x^2=0.020$). The patients who discharged alive number were 46 ($6{\%}$) in the non-drug group and 0 ($0{\%}$) in the drug group ($x^2=0.005$). The witnessed arrest, the epinephrine doses, and total defibrillation energy were not different between two groups. Conclusion: The return of spontaneous circulation rate was higher in the drug group than the non-drug group. However the drug group was lower survival discharge rate than in the non-drug group.

Background: $QuantiFERON^{(R)}$-TB Gold In Tube (QFT-G IT) has been used for diagnosing latent tuberculosis infection and active tuberculosis (TB) since 2007. However, there has not been enough data on QFT-G IT for universal use in children. In this study, we evaluated the clinical usefulness of the QFT-G IT in pediatric practice. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the clinical records of 70 patients younger than 18 years of age who had taken QFT-G IT and had a tuberculin skin test (TST) between July 2007 and July 2009 at Wonju Christian Hospital. The subjects were divided into two groups, asymptomatic TB exposure group and disease group. Four patients who were taking immunosuppressants during the study period were excluded. Results: A total of 66 immunocompetent children were included in this study. Among 27 asymptomatic children who had contact histories of TB, 6 (22.2%) were found to be positive by QFT-G IT. Eleven (40.7%) and 5 (18.5%) children were found to be positive by TST with cutoff values of ${\geq}5mm$ and ${\geq}10mm$, respectively. Agreement was fair to good between QFT-G IT and TST (${\kappa}=0.59$: cutoff value ${\geq}5mm$, ${\kappa}=0.7$: cutoff value ${\geq}10mm$). In disease group, 14 patients (35.9%) were diagnosed with active tuberculosis, 8/14 (57.1%) were positive on TST and 9/14 (64.3%) on QFT-G IT. The positive rate of acid-fast bacilli smear, TB-polymerase chain reaction, and culture for tuberculosis was 11% (1/9), 27.3% (3/11) and 33.3% (3/9), respectively. Conclusion: Our data support that the QFT-G IT can be used as an additional diagnostic tool for latent and active tuberculosis infection in children.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the health status and to examine the relationship between health related variables of the clients with arthritis. This descriptive-correlational study was measured physical health status(pain, fatigue, physical disability, joint flexibility) and psycho-social health status(social function disability, self-efficacy, depression). The clients were consisted of 127 arthritis clients who were randomly selected from health center, 2 sub health center and 6 primary health care center in Wonju City. The data was collected from November 2000 to January 2001. The results of the study analyzed using a SPSS win were as follows: 1) The subjects' average age was 64.81 years old(female: 86.6%, male: 13.4%). 2) In physical health status, the average score of fatigue was 63 scores and pain was 69.77. Physical disability score was higher than total disability score. In psychosocial disability, housekeeping management disability score was higher than social function disability score. In psycho-social health status, the average score of self-efficacy was 70.86 and the subjects have higher level of depression, more than 20 scores. 3) On pain sites, almost of subjects complained of a knee joint pain. The waist, wrist, and shoulder joint pain were followed. The numbers of pain site were 8.3 per individuals. 4) The flexibility of knee and shoulder joint were lower than another joints. 5) Correlation with fatigue, pain, physical disability, social disability, self-efficacy and depression was revealed highly significant. We suggest that health promotion program considering our research results should be provided for arthritis clients in community level.

Pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis is an uncommon diffuse cystic lung disease in adults. In rare cases, it can involve extrapulmonary organs and lead to endocrine abnormalities such as central diabetes insipidus. A 42-year-old man presented with polyphagia and polydipsia, as well as a dry cough and dyspnea on exertion. Magnetic resonance imaging of the hypothalamic-pituitary system failed to show the posterior pituitary, which is a typical finding in patients with central diabetes insipidus. This condition was confirmed by a water deprivation test, and the patient was also found to have type 2 diabetes mellitus. Computed tomographic scanning of the lungs revealed multiple, irregularly shaped cystic lesions and small nodules bilaterally, with sparing of the costophrenic angles. Lung biopsy through video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery revealed pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis. On a follow-up visit, only 1 year after the patient had quit smoking, clinical and radiological improvement was significant. Here, we report an uncommon case of pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis that simultaneously presented with diabetes insipidus and diabetes mellitus.

Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT, Osler-Weber-Rendu disease) is a rare autosomal dominant disease characterized by heterogenous multisystemic dysplasia of the vascular tissue. Prevalence of HHT is 1 in 5,000~8,000. HHT commonly presents with recurrent epistaxis, but may have more serious consequences if visceral vascular beds are involved. Approximately 30~50% of HHT cases also present with pulmonary arteriovenous malformation (PAVM). Spontaneous hemothorax is less common, and PAVM is one of the causes leading to hemothorax. Our case involved an 18-year-old female who had suddenly developed right chest pain. The reason for chest pain was due to right spontaneous hemothorax accompanied by PAVM in the right middle lobe. The patient was additionally diagnosed with HHT upon examination of her family history, specifically through her mother's symptom that included recurrent epistaxis and mucosal telangiectasia.

Common carotid artery laceration is a life-threatening injury by causing hypovolemic shock. Nevertheless the initial management is very difficult until definitive surgery at operation room. Before neck exploration at operation room, arterial bleeding control by compressing the bleeding point is not always effective. We experienced one case with externally penetrating injuries in zone II neck, which was operated after clamping of common carotid artery in the emergency department. Here we report this case.

2020년 기준 국내 게임 시장은 작년 대비 21.3%가 증가하였으며, 그 중 모바일 게임 시장은 전체 게임 시장의 57.4%를 점유하고 있다. 이는 전년 대비 약 40% 성장한 모습으로 모바일 기기의 접근성과 성능의 향상으로 질 좋은 게임들을 장소에 구애받지 않고 즐길 수 있기 때문이다. 본 논문은 "김 탐정과 이상한 마을"이라는 모바일 게임을 설계하고 구현한다. 김탐정이 이상한 마을의 촌장에게 의뢰를 받아 마을에서 일어나는 사건들을 조사하여 사건들을 해결하는 스토리기반 텍스트추리 모바일게임이다. 게임의 스토리를 바탕으로 도트 프로그램과 포토샵을 이용하여 게임 배경, 캐릭터 디자인을 하였으며, 유니티를 이용하여 구현하였다.

집중호우로 집 밖 사정이 궁금하거나 흐린날 미세먼지 상황을 확인하기 위해서 많은 사람들이 기상과 함께 오늘 날씨를 예상하는 날씨 어플리케이션을 켠다. 그런데, 기존 기상 어플리케이션들은 날씨를 알려주기는 하지만 오늘 어떤 옷을 입으면 좋을지, 우산은 챙겨야 하는지 등 우리에게 필요한 부가 정보를 제공해주는 영역이 제한적이다. 본 논문에서는 숫자 위주의 정보보다 그림이나 일러스트와 같이 사용자가 보고 직관적으로 판단할 수 있는 형태로 다양한 부가 기능을 제공하는 날싸 알림 어플리케이션을 개발하고자 한다.

본 논문은 "PBTI"라 명명한 웹사이트를 설계하고 구현한다. 요즘 유행하는 성격 유형 설문조사인 MBTI에서 영감을 받아 피부타입과 퍼스널 컬러를 검사할 수 있는 온라인 쇼핑몰 웹사이트를 제작하게 되었다. 체계적이고 다양한 질문을 통해 사용자들의 피부타입을 검사하고 해당 피부타입 결과에 따른 상품을 추천해주는 알고리즘이 탑재되어 사용자에 맞는 상품을 추천해준다. PBTI의 이러한 기능들은 다른 온라인 뷰티쇼핑몰과 극명한 차별점을 만들고, 쇼핑몰 매출을 크게 증대시킬 것으로 기대한다. 데이터베이스를 구축하기 위해 오라클을 이용하였고, 웹페이지를 구현하기 위해 스프링을 이용하였으며 팀원들과의 협업을 위해 깃허브를 사용하였다.
