In this paper, we consider the characteristics of information technology sectors women. By surveying IT women worker, we attempted to define the attributes of them and examine the problems and what they are needed to IT education following the changes in the highly competitive information technology industry. Especially, we used data mining tools says association analysis to analyze for the Women Information Scientist Association of Korea(WINSA) provides IT worker women with education packages and what is the general culture course from the point of IT employment view. The data was analyzed by SAS enterprise tools.

The purpose of this study is to provide foot classification on 30 generation young men and women by factor analysis and cluster analysis. The sample for this work was chosen from data which were collected and measured by Size Korea during two years($2003{\sim}2004$). In order to analyze and compare features of the foot of men and women, analysis was performed about 871 subjects(male: 422, female: 449) on 24 body parts including height, width, thickness, circumference, length and angle. According to the result of factor analysis about measured data, there were seven factors and six factors for men and women respectively. After cluster analysis, data for men and women were commonly divided by three types for utilization of research results. Type 1 and type 3 had wide distribution about men. Type 2 had wide distribution about women. The results of this study can be applied in manufacturing and design of comfortable shoes and socks.

The purpose of this study is to most appropriately develop maternity wear according to the preferences of specific age groups of pregnant women. The specific age groups were women in their twenties, early thirties, and late thirties. This survey was conducted in the metropolitan area around Seoul, South Korea through a questionnaire given to 150 pregnant women. The study found that pregnant women purchased significantly cheaper clothes after their pregnancy than before. The participants responded that they mostly bought clothes using the Internet, but they also reported many instances of returning the clothes due to fit and sizing. It was shown that women in their twenties tended to consider the price, design, and activity more than women in their thirties when purchasing maternity wear. The study showed that pregnant women tended to wear maternity wear from early in the pregnancy-preferring leggings, one-piece dresses, pants, shirts, briefs, and bras with the girdle on the outside. More women in their late thirties purchased maternity support belts than younger age groups. In any case, in purchasing maternity wear, clothing features that the respondents focused on were comfort, functionality, fit, the covering of their body changes, and fashion. Still, many respondents 35 years and older reported more interest in safety rather than fashion in comparison to the responses of respondents under the age of 35.

This research analyzes effects on women students' psychological characteristics participating in WIE Program (WIE, Women into Engineering) which develops and manages with gender perspective to inspire needed qualities for them to have a career in the field of engineering and improve the use of women resources. We surveyed 207 women students in WIE Program about psychological characteristics of finding ways in one's major field and recognition of developing one's ability through the program. The results show that women students have strong desire to have a carrier in the field of engineering, but seem to have low self-efficacy about it. Each characteristics are different from students to students due to their backgrounds. Next, each psychological characteristics have meaningful differences between groups that are taking WIE Program and groups that are not, and also between groups that have a lot of experiences and groups that have not. Last, women students think that they will be able to gain positiveness, self-efficacy, challenging mind by participating in WIE Program.

기존의 다양한 무선 인터넷 플랫폼이 WIPI라는 무선 인터넷 플랫폼으로 통합되면서 플랫폼 간의 호환성과 이식성을 제공하여 다양하고 풍부한 컨텐츠들이 개발되고 있다. 인터넷 상의 콘텐츠 표현의 주요 표기 언어인 XML을 파싱하고 뷰잉 하기 위한 XML 처리기 역시 이제, 각종 모바일 단말에 내장되어야 할 필수적인 소프트웨어 중의 하나가 되었다. 본 논문에서는 WIPI 기반의 모바일 단맡로의 내장을 위한 효율적 XML 처리기가 설계 구현된다. XML 처리기는 HTTP를 기반으로 하여 서버와 XML 데이터를 교환할 수 있으며, 모바일 단말에 적합하도록 CPU 부하를 덜어주고, 메모리 사용량을 줄이면서, 크기가 작은 Pull 모드 XML 파서를 핵심 컴포넌트로 가지고 있다. 또한, XML 처리기를 사용하여 인터넷을 통해 XML 문서를 전승 받아, 모바일 단말에서 볼 수 있는 간단한 전자책을 개발하였다.

네트워크 카메라는 인터넷을 통해 디지털 영상 전송이 가능하고, 다수의 사용자에게 동시에 같은 영상을 실시간으로 제공해줄 수 있다. 이와 같은 네트워크를 이용한 감시 카메라를 위한 기술은 효율적인 서버 기술, 네트워크 기술, 전송 기술, 압축 기술 등과 함께 영상을 재생할 수 있는 클라이언트 기술을 필요로 한다. 이러한, 클라이언트 측의 기능은 PC 등의 데스크탑 뿐만 아니라, 유무선 통신 단말기, PDA 등의 모바일 단말로까지 그 범위를 넓혀가고 있으며, 특히, 셀룰러폰의 수요가 급속히 증가하면서, 모바일 환경에서의 감시 필요성 및 요구가 확대되고 있다. 최근, 이와 관련된 기술과 제품이 개발되고 있기는 하지만, 대부분 특정 모바일 플랫폼에서만 서비스가 가능한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 제약을 해결하기 위하여 기존의 다양한 모바일 플랫폼을 통합하여 플랫폼 간의 호환성과 이식성을 제공하는 WIPI를 기반으로 한 실시간 영상 감시용 뷰어를 개발하여, 네트워크 카메라로 접속하여 영상을 재생할 수 있도록 한다.

데이터베이스와 연동하는 웹 응용에 대한 수요가 비즈니스를 포함하는 모든 분야에서 급속히 증가하고 있다. 그러나 급증하는 수요에 비해 웹 응용의 작성 및 유지.보수에 많은 시간과 노력이 소요되고 있다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 웹 데이터베이스 응용 자동 생성기 WebGen은 웹 응용에 필요한 폼들과 이 폼들을 통해 이루어지는 질의에 대해 데이터베이스와 연동하여 처리하는 웹 스크립트들을 자동 생성하는 소프트웨어 도구다. WebGen은 웹 응용 개발자가 작성하는 구성파일(configuration file)에 정의된 선언적인 내용을 스크립트의 기본 원형인 내장된 템플릿(template)에 반영하여 5개의 웹 스크립트들(Search, Select, Edit, Information, Action)을 생성한다. Action 스크립트를 제외한 나머지 스크립트들은 사용자 인터페이스로 각각 해당되는 웹 폼을 생성한다. 따라서 웹 응용 작성을 위한 시간과 노력을 크게 줄여 웹 응용의 생산성을 향상시킨다. 상용 웹 응용 생성기들과 달리, WebGen은 독립적인 템플릿을 기반으로 하기 때문에 버전 관리가 용이하고 한 폼에 표현 가능한 정보도 관심의 대상인 엔티티 외에 이 엔티티와 직.간접적으로 연관된 모든 엔티티들을 포함한다.

점차 발전하는 자동차 산업에 맞추어 운전자들에게 보다 편리한 서비스를 제공하는 스마트 카에 대한 사회적 관심 또한 증가하고 있다. 이는 최근 스마트 카를 주제로 한 각종 어플리케이션이 등장하는 속도만 봐도 몸소 알 수 있다. 실제로 많은 운전자들이 차를 운전할 때 내비게이션의 목적지를 일일이 설정하는 것에 큰 번거로움을 느끼고 있으며, 이로 인한 사고의 위험성 역시 적지 않다. 이러한 기존의 문제점과 사회적 관심을 고려하여 사용자의 일상이 결합된 스마트 카 어플리케이션 '카스텔라'를 기획하였다. 매번 도로 위에서 목적지를 조작하는 과거의 자동차 내비게이션과 달리, '카스텔라'는 사용자가 등록한 일정을 내비게이션과 연동함으로써 사용자의 일상이 결합된 맞춤 서비스를 제공한다. 또한, 자신의 차량을 상대로 사용자를 등록하여 해당 사용자가 차량의 시동을 제어하는 시스템과 당일의 날씨에 따른 안전 멘트도 제공한다. 기존의 다른 어플리케이션과 달리 사용자 일정 차량이 하나로 녹아들어 사용자의 모바일과 자동차의 연동이 보다 편리하고, 사용자가 자신의 어플리케이션에 등록한 일정을 자동차의 내비게이션에서 바로 목적지로 설정할 수 있다는 것이 특징이다.

Voice Command systems are important means of ensuring accessibility to digital devices for use in situations where both hands are not free or for people with disabilities. Interests in services using speech recognition technology have been increasing. In this study, we developed a mobile writing application using voice recognition and voice command technology which helps people create and edit documents easily. This application is characterized by the minimization of the touch on the screen and the writing of memo by voice. We have systematically designed a mode to distinguish voice writing and voice command so that the writing and execution system can be used simultaneously in one voice interface. It provides a shortcut function that can control the cursor by voice, which makes document editing as convenient as possible. This allows people to conveniently access writing applications by voice under both physical and environmental constraints.
