RFID 기술의 인식, 채택, 실행별 영향요인 분석 (An Analysis on the Factors Affecting Perception, Adoption, and Implementation of RFID Technology)

  • Countries around the world are actively investing in development and industrial application of RFID, a new wireless communications technology widely perceived as a next-generation growth engine with the potential for creation of new business value. In this paper, we empirically study factors influencing the acceptance of RFID by stage of introduction, to contribute making policies aimed at stimulating demand for this technology and accelerating its penetration. The process of acceptance of RFID was divided, in this paper, into three stages: perception, adoption and implementation, and influence factors, both Internal and external to an organization, drawn from existing literature, are analyzed. A conceptual model comprising internal influence factors, including technical, organization and economic factors, and external factors related to environment and this model was tested through structural equation analysis. To obtain data for empirical analysis, we surveyed public institutions and general companies that are potential users of RFID. The data thus collected were analyzed to determine factors influencing the acceptance of RFID by stage, and practical implications for the RFID promotion policy at the level of demand creation and industrial application were derived from the results of this analysis.

  • To improve passenger convenience and safety, today's vehicle is evolving into a "connected vehicle," which mounts various sensors, electronic control devices, and wired/wireless communication devices. However, as the number of connections to external networks via the various electronic devices of connected vehicles increases and the internal structures of vehicles become more complex, there is an increasing chance of encountering issues such as malfunctions due to various functional defects and hacking. Recalls and indemnifications due to such hacking or defects, which may occur as vehicles evolve into connected vehicles, are becoming a new risk for automakers, causing devastating financial losses. Therefore, automakers need to make voluntary efforts to comply with security ethics and strengthen their responsibilities. In this study, we investigated potential security issues that may occur under a connected vehicle environment (vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-infrastructure, and internal communication). Furthermore, we analyzed several case studies related to automaker's legal risks and responsibilities and identified the security requirements and necessary roles to be played by each player in the automobile development process (design, manufacturing, sales, and post-sales management) to enhance their responsibility, along with measures to manage their legal risks.

Isolation Enhancement of Internal MIMO Antenna

  • In this paper, we proposed and evaluated the performance of an internal MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antenna for multiband operations including LTE (Long Term Evolution) 700/2300/2500. And to enhance the isolation characteristic, a parasitic element is designed and applied. The proposed single antenna has a volume of $60mm(W){\times}38mm(L)$, and the ground plane is $60mm(W){\times}100mm(L)$. The parasitic element used for enhancing the isolation of the antenna was designed with a copper on FR4 sized $60mm(W){\times}20mm(L){\times}1.6mm(H)$, and the pattern size is $60mm(W){\times}15mm(L)$. Simulated and measured results showed that LTE 700/2300/2500, DCS (Digital Cellular Service: 1710-1880MHz), K-PCS (Korea-Personal Communication Service: 1750-1870MHz), US-PCS (US-Personal Communication Service: 1850-1990MHz), WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access: 1920-2170MHz), Wibro (2300-2390MHz), Bluetooth (2400-2483MHz), WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network: 2400-2483.5MHz), US-WiMAX (US-World interoperability for Microwave Access: 2400-2590MHz) frequency bands were covered with $S_{11}$ values less than -6dB (VSWR < 3). Simulated and measured results on $S_{21}$ at 730MHz for the firstly designed MIMO antenna showed -5.50dB and -5.65dB, respectively. When with the parasitic element at the separated ground plane to enhance the isolation performance, -10.33dB and -12.90dB are obtained for the simulation and measurement, so the enhanced isolation performance at lower frequency band (617-867MHz) is confirmed.

IoT기반 철도 화차 안전운송 통합 품질관리시스템에 관한 경제성 평가지표 분석 (Economic Evaluation Analysis of Effect of Train Freight Car Safety Transport Integrated Quality Management System Based on Internet of Things(IoT))

  • Purpose: The objective of this study is to verify the economic validation of quality management integrated train freight car by analyzing economic evaluation indicators such as benefit and cost, net present value, and inter rate of return. Methods: First, we itemize benefit and cost field by reviewing literatures; Benefit consists of 1)Safety, 2)Operation, and 3)Maintenance; Cost consists of 1)Set-up fee, 2)Wireless internet fee, and 3)Cloud storage using fee. Second, based on these estimated values, we conduct an economic evaluation analysis. Among them, benefit and cost, net present value, and internal rate of return are selected. Results: As a result, all estimated values are highly over criterion of economic validity($$B/C{\geq}_-1$$, $$NPV{\geq}_-0$$, $$IRR{\geq}_-R$$); 1)benefit over cost ratio is 28.22, 2)Net present value is 8,121.66million KRW, and 3)Internal rate of return value is 2272%. Conclusion: The findings of this study will help making a decision when train industry adopts IoT technology for improving the effectiveness.

EMTP를 이용한 철도차량용 주변압기 고압권선의 공진특성 분석 (Analysis of Resonant Characteristics in High Voltage Windings of Main Transformer for Railway Vehicle using EMTP)

  • 철도차량용 주변압기 고압권선은 고압인통선에 유기되는 이상전압과 내부공진을 발생 시킬 수 있는 다양한 주파수 대역의 고유주파수를 가진다. 공장시험은 다양한 파형과 지속시간을 지닌 이상전압의 여자가능성을 판단하는데 한계가 있다. 본 연구는 전자계과도해석프로그램(이하 EMTP)을 이용하여 고압권선 모델을 설계하고 초기 전압분포와 전압-주파수 관계 측면에서 내부공진특성을 모의분석한다. 턴 단위의 집중매개변수는 변압기 형상정보부터 계산되며, 각 레이어 단위로 합산된 서브모델은 네트워크 모델로 결합되어 EMTP의 라이브러리를 통해 구현한다. 사례연구는 주파수 변동에 따른 레이어 단위의 전압-주파수 관계 특성과 시계열 영역에서 전압 확대 및 분포 양상을 보여준다.

유무선 통합 망에서 대량호 지능망 서비스의 성능 및 자원 최적화를 위한 동적 큐 관리자 (A Dynamic Queue Manager for Optimizing the Resource and Performance of Mass-call based IN Services in Joint Wired and Wireless Networks)

  • 본 논문은 유무선 통합망 환경하에서 대량호에 근거한 지능망 서비스의 호 완료율을 증가시키고 자원을 최적화하기 위한 정보 흐름 및 총괄서비스 로직을 설계한다. 이 로직을 구현하기 위하여 지능망 서비스제거에 호대기 서비스 특징을 적용하기 위한 동적 큐 관리자를 제시하는데, 이것을 유선 가입자뿐만 아니라 이동 단말을 소유한 무선 가입자에게도 적용하기위해 홈위치등록기와 서비스제어기간에 해당 서비스 가입자들의 이동성을 큐 관리자에게 통보하기 위한 서비스 등록 여부 프래그를 관리한다. 따라서, 이동 서비스 가입자가 로밍함에 따른 동적 서비스 그룹핑을 수행하고 M/M/c/K 큐잉 모델에 근거한 큐 길이를 동적으로 관리하여 자원을 최적화 할 수 있는 동적 큐 관리 메커니즘을 제안한다. 동적 큐 관리자에 의해 할당된 큐 길이를 결정하기 위해 서비스 증가율에 따른 가입자 단말 수와 실패율간의 관계 및 그에 따른 큐에서의 적정 대기 시간을 시뮬레이션 및 분석한다. 또한, 동적 큐 관리자를 구성하는 내부 서비스 로직과 SIB들간의 상호동작 및 자료 구조를 설계 및 구현한다.

Non-resonant Element in Slotted Ground Plane for Multiband Antenna Operation

  • New ways of achieving small, multiband, multifunctional, and standard solutions for mobile handset antennas are demanded in the current wireless market. A non-resonant element of $5mm{\times}5mm{\times}5mm$, a matching network, and a $100mm{\times}40mm$ slotted ground plane are proposed to satisfy mobile market demands that require multiband operation and small antenna solutions. The main advantage of the proposed design is that with only one non-resonant element of considerably small size ($0.015{\lambda}$, 900 MHz), the handset is capable of providing operation at mobile bands.

  • A control application requirements currently used is very low, such as packet loss rate, minimum delay on sensor networks with quality of service (QoS) requirements some packet delivery guarantee. This paper is the sampling period at the end of the actuator and sensor data transfer related to the Miss ratio for each source sensor node, use the controller and the internal ANFIS. The proposed scheme has the advantages of simplicity, scalability, and General. Simulation results of the proposed scheme can provide QoS support in WSANs.

  • Secure digital payment is critical in the successful shaping of global digital business. Digital payments are increasingly being used as a substitute to traditional payments, contributing markedly to the efficiency of the economy. The focus of every digital business transaction is to minimize risks arising from transactions. It is essential to ensure the security of digital payment whether used in internal networks or over wireless Internet. This paper analyses secure digital payment methods from the viewpoint of systemic security and transaction security. According to comparative analysis of digital payment models, this paper proposes a comparative analysis framework to investigate and evaluate secure digital payment. In conclusion, the comparative analysis framework, comparison of digital payment models and mobile payment models proposes a useful academic and practical foundation to enhance the understanding of secure digital payment methods. It also provides academic background and practical guidelines for the development of secure digital payment systems.

무선 USB 동글을 위한 내장형 광대역 안테나 (Internal Ultra-Wideband Antenna for Wireless USB Dongles)

  • 본 논문에서는 초소형 무선 USB 동글 장치를 위한 광대역 접힌(folded) 모노폴 안테나를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 CPW 급전으로부터 삼지창 형상의 선로를 적용하여 광대역 특성을 구현하였다. 최종 설계된 안테나의 크기는 $16{\times}44.8{\times}3.5\;mm^3$이며, low-profile의 무선 USB 동글용 안테나에 적합하다. 제안된 안테나는 $S_{11}$ < -10 dB 기준으로 2.28~10.8 GHz의 공진 주파수 대역을 가지므로 WiBro (2.3~2.4 GHz), Bluetooth (2.4~2.484 GHz), WiMAX (2.5~2.7 GHz, 3.4~3.6 GHz), satellite DMB (2.605~2.655 GHz), 802.11b/g/a WLAN (2.4~2.485 GHz, 5.15~5.825 GHz), UWB(3.1~10.6 GHz)의 무선 대역을 지원 할 수 있다. 측정된 평균 이득의 범위는 -3.41 dBi 에서 -0.84 dBi 이다.
