On June 29th, 2010, a cross-straits "Economic and Cooperation Framework Agreement" (ECFA) is signed between China and Taiwan. This pact seems to be the greatest step forward on cooperation between the two sides, reflecting China-Taiwan thaw. As these countries are especially economically interdependent, great economic incomes and security benefits are expected for both sides after cooperation. this development of enlightened cooperation between China and Taiwan, gives many implications for Korea, the two divided countries. Recently, relation between north and south Korea is developing in an entirely different situation compared to the former Kim Dae-Jung or Roh Moo-hyun administrations. But exchange between north and south Korea has not been stopped, though reduced. This reflects the necessity of exchange of the north and the south, and this means that making preparation for the efficient conduct of exchange is needed. So in this study, we consider the China-Taiwan exchange and cooperation development carefully as a model for exchange and cooperation of the north and south Korea, and sought realizable ways to exchange and cooperate between the north and south Korea, which is also a win-win strategy for northeast Asia.

The economy of the EU left behind the US economy in many aspects and the gap is widening. One major reason that promoted the EU's leading position, is the ability to continuously advancing industrial technology and it's high level of competitiveness. The role as a powerhouse of technological development is nurtured by a systematic attempt of the EU commission to stimulate international cooperation. Although the EU is focussing its efforts on international cooperation between EU-member states, nonmembers, namely Korea, can profit from this policy as well and generate win-win situations for both cooperating partners. Despite the enormous benefits for the Korean economy that would result from close ties with the EU in terms of technological cooperation, academic research in this area is very sparse. The main focus of the Korean academic community has been on the US and Japan so far; the cooperation between Korea and the EU was rather ignored. The purpose of this paper is to shed light on the potential of technological cooperation between Korea and the EU. After an introduction, chapter 2 explains the technology and innovation policy of the EU. Chapter 3 introduces the Framework Program for Research and Technological Development of the EU. Chapter 4 focuses on small and middle sized businesses and examines EUREKA, the EU’s effort to coordinate pan-european research cooperation.

Purpose - This study suggested a practical model for super supermarkets (SSMs) and small- and medium-sized stores to grow together. Super centers expanded their business. However, after the retail distribution law was revised in 2009, mutual cooperation between large and small enterprises resulted in social issues and people raised the issue of profitability. Research design, data, and methodology - This study investigated cases of regulation over distribution in Japan, France, and other countries to reveal implications and recommendations. Results - This study demonstrated how SSM and middle and small supermarkets could grow together by franchising and using cooperative society law. Franchising was a mutual growth model whereby the franchiser provided franchisees with large enterprise systems and utilities while franchisees could provide the franchiser with local information. They could thus build trust in each other to facilitate a mutual growth model. Further, the voluntary franchise system's model facilitated the mutual growth model. Conclusions - This study demonstrates that the franchise system and cooperative society could constitute an ideal model whereby large enterprises and middle and small stores could rely upon each other and grow together.

This study was examined that natural seasoning is related to health care and disease prevention through oriental medicinal theory. A typical oriental medicinal theory is the princeple of win-win cooperation between Yin-Yang and Five elements, the old belief is that our body moves in harmony with Yin-Yang and Five elements. From the records traditional books and papers, we would look at the affinity and nutritional relationship between Five taste(Sweet, Salt, Sour, Bitter, Heat and Spicy) and the body with "Sesame" Therefore, several type of Sesame which is represented by natural seasoning, through intake of Five taste because of body affinity, is expected to prolong health life span.

"Special Act on the Rocal Collaborative Development", proposed by Seoul in late 2015, aims to promote win-win cooperation between local economic players and the development of local communities. However, since it is not possible to ensure its effectiveness by signing a local collaborative agreement, the rights and duties granted to the Parties to the Convention shall be more clearly defined. In addition, it is feared that the application of a uniform standard to businesses that wish to restrict the operation within the local collaborative development zone could prevent the operation restriction based on local characteristics. Accordingly, based on the FBR system in the U.S., it is possible to define the business as a "uniform store" and to determine the possibility of a uniform store to be sold through zoning plans in the region by the Local Collaborative Community Council.

In the shipbuilding and marine industry, digital transformation activities are promoted primarily by large shipyards. However, bottlenecks are observed across value chains, and digital transformation effects are reducing because of the cost and technical challenges encountered by supplies. In this study, we proposed a win-win cooperation model for large, small, and medium-sized companies using digital transformation based on the characteristics of the shipbuilding and marine industry through case studies. We investigated the digital transformation progress in German and Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In addition, we identified information-sharing methods and management challenges encountered in enterprise resource planning and manufacturing execution systems in the collaboration process of pipes, panels, blocks, etc. of SMEs that are suppliers of a Korean shipyard, and clarified communication by building a platform based on a common format between shipyards and suppliers. Further, we proposed a standard model of a digital transformation system for enhancing the collaboration between large companies and suppliers and proposed a basic plan including strategies to efficiently and effectively build a digital transformation system based on the standard model.

A Smart factories are systems that enable quick response to customer demands, reduce defect rates, and maximize productivity. They have evolved from manual labor-intensive processes to automation and now to cyber-physical systems with the help of information and communication technology. However, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are still unable to implement even the initial stages of smart factories due to various environmental and economic constraints. Additionally, there is a lack of awareness and understanding of the concept of smart factories. To address this issue, the Cooperation-based Smart Factory Construction Support Project was launched. This project is a differentiated support project that provides customized programs based on the size and level of the company. Research has been conducted to analyze the impact of this project on participating and non-participating companies. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the support policy and suggest efficient measures for improvement. Furthermore, the research aims to provide direction for future support projects to enhance the manufacturing competitiveness of SMEs. Ultimately, the goal is to improve the overall manufacturing industry and drive innovation.

With increasing adoption of smart products and complexity, companies have shifted their strategies from stand alone and competitive strategies to business ecosystem oriented and cooperative strategies. The win-win growth of business refers to corporate efforts undertaken by companies to pursue the healthiness of business between conglomerates and partnering companies such as suppliers for mutual prosperity and a long-term corporate soundness based on their business ecosystem and cooperative strategies. This study is designed to validate a theoretical proposition that the win-win growth strategy of Samsung Electronics and cooperative efforts among companies can create a healthy business ecosystem, based on results of case studies and surveys. In this study, a level of global market access of small and mid-sized companies is adopted as the key achievement index. The foreign market entry is considered as one of vulnerabilities in the ecosystem of small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs). For SMEs, the global market access based on the research and development (R&D) has become the critical component in the process of transforming them into global small giants. The results of case studies and surveys are analyzed mainly based on a model of a virtuous cycle of Creativity, Opportunity, Productivity, and Proactivity (the COPP model) that features the characteristics of the healthiness of a business ecosystem. In the COPP model, a virtuous circle of profits made by the first three factors and Proactivity, which is the manifestation of entrepreneurship that proactively invests and reacts to the changing business environment of the future, enhances the healthiness of a given business ecosystem. With the application of the COPP model, this study finds major achievements of the win-win growth of Samsung Electronics as follows. First, Opportunity plays a role as a parameter in the relations of Creativity, Productivity, and creating profits. Namely, as companies export more (with more Opportunity), they are more likely to link their R&D efforts to Productivity and profitability. However, companies that do not export tend to fail to link their R&D investment to profitability. Second, this study finds that companies with huge investment on R&D for the future, which is the result of Proactivity, tend to hold a large number of patents (Creativity). And companies with significant numbers of patents tend to be large exporters as well (Opportunity), and companies with a large amount of exports tend to record high profitability (Productivity and profitability), and thus forms the virtuous cycle of the COPP model. In addition, to access global markets for sustainable growth, SMEs need to build and strengthen their competitiveness. This study concludes that companies with a high level of proactivity to invest for the future can create a virtuous circle of Creativity, Opportunity, Productivity, and Proactivity, thereby providing a strategic implication that SMEs should invest time and resources in forming such a virtuous cycle which is a sure way for the SMEs to grow into global small giants.

This study examined the fitness of a path model for the relationship among the perceived health status, pain, sleep pattern, and quality of life in the elderly. The data was collected by questionnaires to 276 elderly in J city. The collected data was analyzed using PASW 18.0(win) and AMOS 18.0(win) program. The model fit indices for the hypothetical model were in good agreement with the recommended levels ($x^2$/DF=1.393, p=.077, GFI=.971, TLI=.983, CFI=.989, RMSEA=.038). Based on the constructed model, the quality of life was influenced directly by the perceived health status, pain and sleep pattern, indirectly by the perceived health status and pain. Pain was influenced directly by the perceived health status, and sleep pattern was influenced directly by pain. These results highlight the need for the development of intervention strategies for the promotion of perceived health status in the elderly to improve the quality of life.

This study was done to identify the relationships of self-esteem, major satisfaction and career motivation and to examine the factors influencing on career motivation among 369 college nursing students. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS Win 18.0 Program. There were significant positive correlations between self-esteem and career motivation, between major satisfaction and career motivation, between self-esteem and major satisfaction. The predictors on career motivation were major satisfaction (${\beta}$=.48) and self-esteem (${\beta}$=.23) and the model explained 34.5% (F=17.84, p<.001) of the variance. The findings indicate the following studies are needed to explore various factors influencing on the career motivation and to develop the career motivation programs for college nursing students.
