The Impacts of Social Sustainability Practices on Supply Chain Performance: Mediating Role of Supply Chain Integration

  • Purpose: The importance of sustainability in the supply chain has steadily risen in recent decades as a result of the growing awareness on the social issues. The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between social sustainability practices and performance outcomes, as well as explore the mediating role of supply chain integration on that relationship. Research design, data and methodology: PLS-SEM model is developed to identify the impacts of sustainability on performance outcomes and the mediating role of supply chain integration. We received 285 responses from medium and large companies located in Vietnam, and after filtering, 206 responses were used for further analysis. Results: Our findings showed that sustainability impacts significantly on integration and performance in the supply chain. Moreover, the result indicates that supplier integration and internal integration mediate the relationship between social sustainability practices and supply chain performance, while customer integration mediation role was not found significant at all. Conclusions: Our results prove that social sustainability practices can link all the stakeholders and enhance collaboration. To maintain sustainable development, firms should embrace values of sustainability to improve the well-being, working condition, and healthcare of their employees as well as the advancement of local society.

  • 최근, 규칙적인 운동이나 식단을 통해 건강을 관리하고 이를 SNS에 인증하는 헬시플레저(Healthy-pleasure) 트렌드가 MZ세대에 자리 잡고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 개인의 성격 특성이 건강관리 인증행위와 주관적 웰빙에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 그 결과, 먼저 1) SNS 인증 태도와 의도 모두에 유사비교 성향과 과시적 자기애가 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 하향비교 성향은 SNS 인증 변수 모두에 부적인 영향을 미쳤다. 다음으로, 2) 주관적 웰빙 모두에 사용자의 자존감이 긍정적인 영향을 미친 반면, 과시적 자기애는 스트레스에 부적인 영향을 미치고, 유사비교 성향은 만족감에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 유사한 사람들과의 비교는 대학생들의 건강관리 인증과 주관적 웰빙에 긍정적 영향을 미치지는 반면, 자기 존중이 아닌 자기 과시나 타인의 인정을 위한 건강관리는 오히려 그들의 주관적 웰빙에 부정적 영향을 미침을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 2030세대를 겨냥한 마케팅 시장뿐만이 아닌 MZ세대가 건강한 삶을 영위 할 수 있는 미디어 및 문화 환경을 위해 적극 반영 되어야 할 것이다.

아웃소싱 유형별 신발 제조업체의 특성 연구 (Research on Characteristics of Shoe Manufacturing Companies according to Outsourcing Types)

  • In this study, outsourcing behaviors of shoe manufacturing companies were studied and four types of outsourcing were generated based on qualitative data collected through in-depth interviews with 21 practitioners of shoe manufacturing companies. In results, shoe manufacturers are actively adopting outsourcings in production of raw materials(RM) as well as final products(FP). However, relatively less effect is being made on outsourcing in the field of product planning, international marketing and information technology. Four types of outsourcing include shoe manufacturers focusing on: 1) domestic production of RH and FP, 2) domestic production of RM and international production of FP, 3) domestic/international production of RM and FP, and 4) international production of RH and FP. These types were differed. from their manufacturing items, product planning skills and target markets of shoe manufacturing companies.

  • Purpose - The movie market has the characteristics of being a perfectly competitive market as well as a pure monopolistic market at the same time. This is because there are competitors in the industry but prices, although not fixed, have not changed a lot. Price competition may not have spread, but the competition is focused on artistic value, and the degree of box office success is most important. The artistic value is determined in the course of the production process. However, the degree of box office success is dependent upon the marketing manager. The marketing strategy represents the difference in the standard or quality of the movie. Inherently, the marketing manager adopts the entertainment strategy based on the quality of the foundation of the completed movie. At this time, the marketing manager knows the pertinent information (high quality/low quality) regarding the movie. This research study tries to reveal what should be the reasonable movie marketing expense, dependent on the quality of the movie. Research design, data, and methodology - Using a game scenario with different market players, the goal of the research analysis is to find out the following. First, the marketing expense is determined to maximize the profits after film production. Second, after the production costs are already committed, the manufacturer gets to choose the marketing level. At this time, there will be a profit maximization point, considering the competition. The premise of the research is as follows: if it is a good movie of quality, positive word of mouth increasing the audience continuously slows down the speed of the demand curve. If the movie quality is bad, the negative word of mouth decreasing the audience gradually hastens the speed of the demand curve. On the marketing side, when the manufacturer invests heavily in the marketing expense of the movie, consumer expectations increase to drive up the audience numbers. On the other hand, it is difficult to improve the profits excessively. When the manufacturer invests in marketing a little bit, the marketing expense is only relatively committed, therefore a lot of demand cannot be gained. Results - If a fixed market share is in a competitive situation, a low quality manufacturer expends relatively more marketing expense. If the situation assumes two manufacturers spend the same for the cost of production, the high quality manufacturer takes more profit. If the manufacturer expends less marketing budget to save costs, the optimum profit cannot be achieved since the other party (opponent) grabs the initial market share. Conclusions - In conclusion, investment is essential for market share to increase. We must refrain from a zero-sum game and have models where the game participants pursue the creative profits together. In the current film industry, there is the dominating logic of winner and loser but we have to create a film industry environment where the participants can be altogether satisfied and live together.

어촌체험휴양마을의 고유성이 체험가치와 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Experiential Fishing Village Authenticity on Experience Value and Subjective Well-being)

  • The purpose of this study is to elucidate the impact of authenticity on experience value and subjective well-being among visitors who have participated in direct experiential activities in experiential fishing villages. The research method used literature research methods and empirical research methods using questionnaires, and this questionnaire was composed by determining three major variables and seven constituent factors for each variable through factor analysis and conducting prior research and preliminary surveys. The survey was conducted from February 5, 2023 to April 5, 2023 among experimental fishing villages with excellent ratings for scenery (environment), service, experience, accommodation, and food, and four villages that can experience tidal flats and manage customers online. The results of this study are as follows. First, the factors of authenticity in experiential fishing villages include three sub-factors: objective authenticity, constructive authenticity, and existential authenticity. The factors of experience value include two sub-factors: emotional values and functional values. Subjective well-being is derived from positive emotion and life satisfaction. Second, upon examining the importance of authenticity in experiential fishing villages, it was found that existential authenticity and objective authenticity, in that order, have a significant impact on emotional values. However, constructive authenticity did not have a significant impact on emotional values. Third, in terms of functional values, constructive authenticity, existential authenticity, and objective authenticity, in that order, had a significant impact. Fourth, experience value, in the order of emotional values and functional values, had a significant impact on positive emotion and life satisfaction of subjective well-being. Therefore, it was confirmed that the authenticity of experiential fishing villages is important as a strategy to enhance experience value and subjective well-being. Especially, considering that the majority of visitors to experiential fishing villages are family-centered (86.5%), applying marketing management strategies to develop programs that enhance existential authenticity and improve emotional values could elevate the subjective well-being of experiential visitors.

  • 디지털 미디어 기술이 지속적으로 발전하면서 새로운 기술을 활용한 미디어 아트의 창출이 거듭되고 있다. 그 중 인터랙티브 미디어는 관객을 작품 안에 참여시킴으로써 비로소 완성된다는 점에서 관객에게 새로운 경험과 흥미를 제공한다. 이러한 특성을 마케팅 전략으로 활용하면서 매출 증가와 기업의 긍정적 이미지 제고를 유도하는 사례들이 증가하고 있다. 영화 산업의 마케팅의 요소로써 인터랙티브 미디어가 활용 될 수 있는 방안을 모색하고 전략적인 마케팅 요소로 사용될 수 있는 인터랙티브 미디어 콘텐츠의 프로토타입을 제안한다. 이로써 관객들에게 지속적이고 새로운 몰입감을 제공하는 인터랙티브 미디어의 발전 방향을 제시하고, 영화 마케팅뿐만 아니라 산업의 전반적인 효과적인 활용에 대한 후속 연구를 제안한다.

  • 由于生产的全球化以及国家之间的文化交流, 东方元素越来越吸引世界的眼球. 在时装界, 一个时装设计师的文化背景往往可以催生新颖的设计理念, 使他卓尔不群. 人们对于东方元素的喜爱, 给传统时装市场带来了巨大的商机, 并且把基于文化的业务拓展到全球时装市场. 然而, 包含韩国传统文化的国际品牌还有待开发. 为了发展有韩国特色的国际品牌, 韩国人首先要在国内服装市场上认同本国文化, 然后才能进军国外市场. 便服非常适合采纳韩国元素, 因为这种衣服有很多用途, 很容易被广泛接受和使用. 而且, 多用途便服和时尚内衣的市场需求越来越大. 尽管便服市场在快速发展, 但是对便服的专门研究尚不多见, 目前在对发展中的现代化传统服装、时尚产品和品牌的研究中, 并不包括对便服的研究. 因此, 本论文调查了韩国的便服市场, 研究了消费者对含有韩国传统时装设计特色的便服的评价. 分析了对于韩国传统时装设计元素有购买意向的先例之间的关系, 并且比较了不同生活群体的消费目标. 产品质量, 零售服务质量, 感受价值以及对拥有韩国传统设计元素的便服的喜好被作为购买意向的先决条件. 同时, 本文设计了一个结构方程模型, 用于探讨它们之间的关系以及它们对购买意图的影响. 产品质量和市场营销中的零售服务质量结合在一起, 成为影响人们对韩国特色便服的偏好和价值感知的因素. 而且, 偏好和价值感知对购买意向的影响可以用同一模型来检验. 通过网上调查系统由女性消费者完成了一共357份的自填式问卷, 并制定了一份调查样本人群的生活方式、对于产品和销售服务的标准、对于韩国特色便服的价值感知、偏好以及购买意向的调查问卷. 此外, 问卷还将调查便服的采购和使用行为, 以便检验韩国便服的市场地位. 并且使用描述性分析, 因素分析, 聚类分析来分析数据, 以及使用AMOS 7.0.来进行方差分析和建立结构方程模型. 对于韩国便服市场地位的调查结果显示, 在我们的样本人群中大多数消费者都购买了便服. 便服在目前被认为是在家里穿的衣服, 是消费者比较而言投入较低的衣服. 在调查中显示, 大多数消费者每年仅仅购买2到3次便服, 花费在10美元以下. 购买便服的消费者们的生活方式共有四类: 传统价值导向的生活方式, 品牌影响的生活方式, 追求休闲的生活方式以及健康导向的生活方式, 这四类共计有12个项目. 基于这些生活方式要素, 便服消费者们又可以分为两类: 安乐派和保守派. 文章估量了对含有韩国传统时尚设计元素的便服的购买行为各组成部分之间的关系, 产品质量和零售服务质量都会影响到购买便服的偏好和价值感知. 这个研究结论证明, 高质量的产品和零售服务会对便服形成积极的优先效应. 价值感知和对便服的偏好会对购买意图产生积极的影响. 这个结果表明, 对便服所含有的韩国传统时尚设计因素的强烈偏好和价值感知能增强购买意图. 在两种不同生活方式的群体(即安乐派和保守派)的模型比较中, 结果显示产品质量和零售服务质量对安乐派群体的偏好和感知价值都有积极影响. 然而, 对保守派来说, 只有零售服务质量对偏好和购买意图有积极的影响. 由于安乐派对购买意图显示出更重大的影响, 包含韩国传统时尚设计因素的便服品牌应该关注安乐派的这些特征. 然而, 保守派对包含韩国传统时尚设计因素的便服在偏好和购买意图的关系中显得更强. 因此对包含韩国传统时尚设计因素的便服品牌来说, 它应该把重点放在如何激发保守群体消费者对便服的积极偏爱上. 这些结果提供了关于韩国便服消费者生活方式的信息, 也对那些计划进入韩国便服市场的时尚品牌, 尤其是那些与现行研究样本相似的, 目标为女性消费者的时尚品牌提供了有用的信息. 这一研究也为便服品牌和那些打算创造含有韩国传统时尚因素的高价值品牌提供了策略和市场洞察力. 考虑到不同生活方式群体的类型和便服或传统时尚商品之间的关系, 品牌设计者和市场策划人员可以运用这一研究成果作为市场定位, 目标设定, 以及市场销售策略的一个参考.

Re-conceptualization of Business Model for Marketing Nowadays: Theory and Implications

  • This study aims to develop the concept of innovation models with the marketing channel construct approach, marketing innovation, product segmentation, and customer insight; as well as improvements to the theory of resource-based combined with the method of service-dominant logic. This study approach is based on quantitative descriptive conducted with three stages of testing scenarios. The first test is the mapping of the innovation model construct through testing the validity and reliability with the moderation of customer orientation variables. The second scenario examines the relationship of influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable of 29 hypothetical analysis equation modeling. The unit of analysis was conducted on 497 SMEs involved in the food and beverage sectors, with the criteria being SMEs must have a rating of 4-5 points on the Go-Food applications software. The results shown that: 1) the construct used to develop an innovative model both directly and via moderation is positive and significant; 2) Through a complicated relationship that involves all components of the variable, it outlines a positive and significant effect except for the path of analysis (μ5). The theoretical and managerial implications state that the service-dominant logic approach and resource-based view theory have extreme reliability and interrelations.

전자상거래 무역상 창업의도 결정요인 (The Antecedents of Entrepreneurial Intention for being E-commerce Trade)

  • There is a growing interest on entrepreneurship for undergraduate students to enhance their employment ratio because they have big difficulty in getting a job in Korea as well as Vietnam. Currently, on-line business is booming because customers feel convenience in approaching on-line store. Therefore, this study has explored identifying the factors to affect entrepreneurial intention of being e-commerce trader for the undergraduates in Korean universities as well as Vietnam universities. In addition to this, the study has also investigated the difference of the results between Korea and Vietnam. The results of the study are as follows ; First, entrepreneurial knowledge affects positively on entrepreneurial intention for being e-commerce trader. Second, employment barrier also affects positively on entrepreneurial intention for being e-commerce trader. Third, social perception on entrepreneurship mediates the relationship between employment barrier and entrepreneurial intention for being e-commerce trader. Lastly, the level of entrepreneurial intention for vietnam undergraduate students shows higher than that of Korean undergraduate students. Since there was lack of recognition as to the importance for entrepreneurial intention of being e-commerce trader in Korea, Korean government can refer to the results of this survey and implement the related policies to enhance related entrepreneurial intention. This indicates that when it comes to the establishment of new ventures in Korea, entrepreneurial education has been the focus of interest such as making business plan, setting up strategy, marketing the products etc. In this regard, this research is expected to be used for the development for the future policies to boost youth entrepreneurship in Korea.

주택산업의 풍수마케팅 모형 정립에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Fengshui Marketing Model in the Housing Industry)

  • 본 논문은 풍수마케팅 위한 체계화된 풍수지리 분석기법과 풍수지리 감결서의 작성 방법을 연구하여 주거공간에 있어 기업의 마케팅에 활용할 수 있도록 풍수마케팅 모형을 정립한다. 여기서 풍수마케팅은 제품광고뿐만 아니라 판매촉진, 홍보, 이벤트, 세일즈맨 활동 등 변화하는 시대에 부응하는 마케팅 전략으로 소비자의 구매력과 기업의 이미지 증진에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 다만, 아직까지 풍수마케팅을 할 수 있는 광고상품이 주택분양이나 점포입지 그리고 상품배치를 위한 공간배치 등 매우 제한적이다. 그래서 현재 보편적으로 이루지고 있는 일반적인 주택분양 마케팅에 덧붙여 주택분양을 한층 더 촉진할 수 있는 풍수마케팅 방식을 연구하고자 한다. 먼저 이 연구를 위해 전통풍수지리 이론을 바탕으로 양택풍수 분석방법을 논하고, 현대에 맞는 새로운 풍수지리 분석기법으로 지형공간구조와 지자기교란을 분석방법을 논한다. 이러한 체계적이고 객관적인 풍수지리 분석방법을 적용한 풍수지리 감결서의 작성방법과 표준양식을 제시하였다. 결과적으로 기존 주택산업의 풍수마케팅 모형을 정립하여 기업의 상품판매 촉진 마케팅의 한 방법을 연구하였다. 향후 이러한 연구를 토대로 주택산업에 대한 정립된 풍수감결서 방식에 따라 분석하여 평가한 풍수마케팅 적용사례의 실례를 들어 주택분양에 얼마나 효과가 있었는지, 웰빙건축에 얼마나 반영되었는지에 대한 연구가 진행되면 풍수마케팅의 실효성 유무를 검증할 수 있을 것이다. 만약 이러한 연구를 통하여 실효성이 검증되면 풍수마케팅의 저변확대로 친환경적인 웰빙 주택산업 활성화에도 도움이 될 것이다. 덧붙여 풍수마케팅에 대한 산업별 모형을 연구하여, 그것이 기업의 이미지와 이윤의 극대화 그리고 고객의 만족에 얼마나 부합되는지에 대한 구체적인 연구가 필요하다.
