A Comparative Study on the Adoption of Mobile Devices

  • The global market for mobile phone business is already matured. Accordingly, the repurchasing issue for the mobile phone is being weighted drastically by the marketers. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationships among seven crucial factors, and also examines the differences between Korean and Indonesian markets concerning the relationships of these key success factors. This research classifies these two markets as a matured market and an emerging market respectively. The structural model is tested with the data from each of the sub-samples. The analysis of the multi-group structural equation model (MSEM) showed that compared to Korean, Indonesian had more emphasized on extra-functions for the mobile phone as well as giving more influence on satisfaction from brand image. Due to the different market situation and users, the lessons to which product features must be more emphasized could be obtained for the product managers in the industry.

  • This study was intended to analysis about quantity and quality aspects of speciality coffee industry in korea. All date was analysed by statistics package program spss 10.0. All market of coffee In korea, the market share of speciailty coffee have been maintained about 10 percent since it was analysed statically about coffee market in korea. The rest market is soluble coffee market. But by comparison with developed country case, korea's coffee market is being unbalanced between soluble coffee and speciality coffee market. This study was analyze actual consumer's consulnption styles of the speciality coffee as well as its industry. According to the qualitative analysis results from peter's model was analysed that made a high growth potentiality and profitability in the future. According to the quantitative analysis results, sampling unit's 87.6 percent made a recognize about the speciality coffee. Sensory evaluation results was researched that factors impacted on the overall speciality coffee quality was shown a significant diffrrence on the two dimension such as the body factor, acidity factor. This study has limit which can not represent overall recognition because of analysis based on limited data. It is thought that steady study should be continued hereafter through more systematic and reliable study method.

  • The power plant companies reached the culmination for growth in the domestic market. Besides, we have faced many challenges such as an electricity opening market trend for overseas, banning the use of coal due to the United nations framework convention on climate change, and the meticulous attention regarding the government's electricity charge plan. On the other hand, the overseas business has been a critical issue since China and many other developing countries expanded their projects abroad. Another factor is that power plant industry is being privatized, and it made the market regulation a bit loose. Thus, the market environment became favorable toward those companies which planned many overseas businesses. In this research, the power plant company's current condition for construction and operation as well as its technical competitiveness were analyzed, and an alternative plan using SWOT analysis for entering an oversea market was made. It dealt with both internal and external factors. Also, examined was the current situation under the power plant industry dealing with restructure for electric industry, lack of fossil fuel, and the United nations framework convention on climate change. From the research, it was suggested that many successful strategies to enter the overseas business by using the market trend I researched.

  • 由于生产的全球化以及国家之间的文化交流, 东方元素越来越吸引世界的眼球. 在时装界, 一个时装设计师的文化背景往往可以催生新颖的设计理念, 使他卓尔不群. 人们对于东方元素的喜爱, 给传统时装市场带来了巨大的商机, 并且把基于文化的业务拓展到全球时装市场. 然而, 包含韩国传统文化的国际品牌还有待开发. 为了发展有韩国特色的国际品牌, 韩国人首先要在国内服装市场上认同本国文化, 然后才能进军国外市场. 便服非常适合采纳韩国元素, 因为这种衣服有很多用途, 很容易被广泛接受和使用. 而且, 多用途便服和时尚内衣的市场需求越来越大. 尽管便服市场在快速发展, 但是对便服的专门研究尚不多见, 目前在对发展中的现代化传统服装、时尚产品和品牌的研究中, 并不包括对便服的研究. 因此, 本论文调查了韩国的便服市场, 研究了消费者对含有韩国传统时装设计特色的便服的评价. 分析了对于韩国传统时装设计元素有购买意向的先例之间的关系, 并且比较了不同生活群体的消费目标. 产品质量, 零售服务质量, 感受价值以及对拥有韩国传统设计元素的便服的喜好被作为购买意向的先决条件. 同时, 本文设计了一个结构方程模型, 用于探讨它们之间的关系以及它们对购买意图的影响. 产品质量和市场营销中的零售服务质量结合在一起, 成为影响人们对韩国特色便服的偏好和价值感知的因素. 而且, 偏好和价值感知对购买意向的影响可以用同一模型来检验. 通过网上调查系统由女性消费者完成了一共357份的自填式问卷, 并制定了一份调查样本人群的生活方式、对于产品和销售服务的标准、对于韩国特色便服的价值感知、偏好以及购买意向的调查问卷. 此外, 问卷还将调查便服的采购和使用行为, 以便检验韩国便服的市场地位. 并且使用描述性分析, 因素分析, 聚类分析来分析数据, 以及使用AMOS 7.0.来进行方差分析和建立结构方程模型. 对于韩国便服市场地位的调查结果显示, 在我们的样本人群中大多数消费者都购买了便服. 便服在目前被认为是在家里穿的衣服, 是消费者比较而言投入较低的衣服. 在调查中显示, 大多数消费者每年仅仅购买2到3次便服, 花费在10美元以下. 购买便服的消费者们的生活方式共有四类: 传统价值导向的生活方式, 品牌影响的生活方式, 追求休闲的生活方式以及健康导向的生活方式, 这四类共计有12个项目. 基于这些生活方式要素, 便服消费者们又可以分为两类: 安乐派和保守派. 文章估量了对含有韩国传统时尚设计元素的便服的购买行为各组成部分之间的关系, 产品质量和零售服务质量都会影响到购买便服的偏好和价值感知. 这个研究结论证明, 高质量的产品和零售服务会对便服形成积极的优先效应. 价值感知和对便服的偏好会对购买意图产生积极的影响. 这个结果表明, 对便服所含有的韩国传统时尚设计因素的强烈偏好和价值感知能增强购买意图. 在两种不同生活方式的群体(即安乐派和保守派)的模型比较中, 结果显示产品质量和零售服务质量对安乐派群体的偏好和感知价值都有积极影响. 然而, 对保守派来说, 只有零售服务质量对偏好和购买意图有积极的影响. 由于安乐派对购买意图显示出更重大的影响, 包含韩国传统时尚设计因素的便服品牌应该关注安乐派的这些特征. 然而, 保守派对包含韩国传统时尚设计因素的便服在偏好和购买意图的关系中显得更强. 因此对包含韩国传统时尚设计因素的便服品牌来说, 它应该把重点放在如何激发保守群体消费者对便服的积极偏爱上. 这些结果提供了关于韩国便服消费者生活方式的信息, 也对那些计划进入韩国便服市场的时尚品牌, 尤其是那些与现行研究样本相似的, 目标为女性消费者的时尚品牌提供了有用的信息. 这一研究也为便服品牌和那些打算创造含有韩国传统时尚因素的高价值品牌提供了策略和市场洞察力. 考虑到不同生活方式群体的类型和便服或传统时尚商品之间的关系, 品牌设计者和市场策划人员可以运用这一研究成果作为市场定位, 目标设定, 以及市场销售策略的一个参考.

  • 국내시장과는 환경과 여건이 판이한 해외시장을 표적시장(target market)으로 하는 국제마케팅은 시장자체의 형태가 천차만별일 뿐만 아니라 그 시장을 형성하는 상황, 시장구조 등이 전혀 다르며 다이나믹하게 급변하고 있다. 이러한 시장을 유지, 확대, 개척한다는 것은 효율적인 교역촉진의 수행 없이는 매우 어렵다. 보다 진보적이고 마케팅 정보를 토대로 하여 보다 세분화되고 구체화된 마케팅믹스 전략을 수행하는 것이 궁극적 목표이다.

The Study on Retirement Age Adjustment Reflecting Possible Workability of Elderly Population

  • This study aims to discern the determinants influencing the perception of workability among the elderly population and delineate an appropriate retirement age within the labor market context. Employing binary logistic regression, this research utilizes data from the Korea Welfare Panel Study (2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020) provided by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Welfare. The findings indicate that key factors shaping the elderly's perception of workability encompass familial responsibilities (household and marital status) and their levels of physical and mental well-being. Econometric analysis suggests an anticipated retirement age for the elderly population ranging between 67 and 69 years. In addressing labor market demands and informing policymakers, the study proposes deliberations on extending the retirement age for individuals aged 60 to 65. This range serves as a compromise between the identified retirement age of 67 to 69 and the current average retirement age for elderly labor market participants. Bridging the disparity between the perceived workability age and the prevailing labor market baseline is crucial for achieving social consensus. Therefore, any extension of the retirement age should carefully consider both the demand and supply perspectives within the labor market. The study's contribution lies in two main aspects: firstly, presenting a retirement age framework for the labor market that integrates the workability of the elderly population, and secondly, providing evidence-based research outcomes to guide informed labor policies.

동대문(東大門) 의류시장(衣類市場)의 설립년도(設立年度)와 판매방식(販賣方式)의 차이(差異)에 따른 전자상거래(電子商去來) 현황(現況) (The Present State of E-Business according to the Establishment Year and the Sales Approach of Dongdaemun Clothing Market)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the present state of e-business according to the establishment year and the sales approach of Dongdaemun clothing market and to present problems according to e-business activation of it and its developmental direction. The subjects for this study were selected out of Dongdaemun clothing markets being considered as more fashion-oriented markets and were divided into two categories both according to the establishment year and according to the sales approach. As a result, Dongdaemun clothing markets are mainly divided into traditional wholesale market, eastern wholesale & retail market, and western retail market and having dealings with each other according to the market's characteristics. The utility percentage of on-line e-business according to the establishment year and the sales approach showed that traditional wholesale market was 42%, eastern wholesale & retail market 0.75%, and western retail market 11%. This result indicated that the utility percentage of traditional wholesale market showed much higher than eastern wholesale & retail market and western retail market. This would be because the structural characteristics of clothing market delayed the utility of e-business. For the problems on the utility of on-line e-business through counselling, traditional wholesale market showed much higher than wholesale & retail market and retail market because it had little problems on design imitation in retail market due to export by order and mass production. The problems of low utility of on-line e-business in Dongdaemun clothing market would result from well-timed on-line update according to rapid goods cycle, constant satisfaction for additional order, standardization of size and quality, and inexpensive internet purchase despite of express expense.

A Study on the Impact of Perceived Regulations for Sales at Super-Supermarket and Discount Store on Consumers' Shopping Value and Subjective Well-Being

  • Purpose - This study focused on consumers' perception about regulations for sales enforced by national and local governments in Korea. The study examined the relationship between perceived regulatory restrictions and subjective well-being (SWB), and perceived regulatory restrictions and shopping value, respectively. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - Data were collected from 135 college students and consumers in Gyeonggi Province to verify the relationships, moderating effects, and mediating effects, thus testing the theoretical model and its hypotheses. Results - First, consumers' positive perception of regulatory restrictions enabled enhancement of their SWB. Second, consumers' positive perception of regulatory restrictions had no significant positive influence on hedonic value but had a significant positive influence on utilitarian value. Third, utilitarian value exhibited a full mediating effect on the relationship between regulatory restrictions and SWB. Conclusion - This study showed that consumers' positive win-win attitude is based on social norms. Further, we expect that consumers experiencing discomfort due to regulatory restrictions resolve this by going to other distributors. Finally, to increase distributors' competitiveness and consumers' utilitarian value, it is suggested that distributors require a variety of marketing strategies.

  • As well as the development of the measurement of service quality, various kinds of service measurements are also being developed. Especially the mobile telecommunication service being representative to the mobile telecommunication company would be the mostly developed area. Its development can be understood along with the development of the telecommunication companies as well as cellular companies, not only the service alone. It is a differentiated phenomenon in the current research, such as the organic influence between the service quality and product. Of course there are such products placed on sale and enjoyed the common service, but at present there is another case that the product is on the market exclusively with the mobile company in here. This article is to estimate service efficiency for Mobile Communication and Cellular company. In this paper, We tried to measure the service quality and overall satisfaction by using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA), degree of combination and top2box which is a little bit different methodology from traditional ones. This paper uses CCR model in DEA to measure service efficiency in the Mobile Communication.
