For this study, the external laryngeal lengths of 9 females and 9 males with normal voices were measured together with their ages, heights, and weights, and after they read aloud sentences for 3 minutes, their habitual speaking fundamental frequencies, speaking low pitches, speaking high pitches, and vocal fold closed quotients were measured. The Spearman rank correlation analysis on these data showed a significant negative correlation between the external laryngeal length and the habitual speaking fundamental frequency for both females and males, a significant negative correlation between the external laryngeal length and the speaking high pitch for only males, a significant negative correlation between the external laryngeal length and the speaking low pitch for both females and males, and a significant positive correlation between the external laryngeal length and the vocal fold closed quotient for only males.

The similarity weight, the pearson's correlation coefficient, which is used in the recommender system has a weak point that it cannot predict all of the prediction value. The similarity weight, the vector similarity, has a weak point of the high MAE although the prediction coverage using the vector similarity is higher than that using the pearson's correlation coefficient. The purpose of this study is to suggest how to raise the prediction coverage. Also, the MAE using the suggested method in this study was compared both with the MAE using the pearson's correlation coefficient and with the MAE using the vector similarity, so was the prediction coverage. As a result, it was found that the low of the MAE in the case of using the suggested method was higher than that using the pearson's correlation coefficient. However, it was also shown that it was lower than that using the vector similarity. In terms of the prediction coverage, when the suggested method was compared with two similarity weights as I mentioned above, it was found that its prediction coverage was higher than that pearson's correlation coefficient as well as vector similarity.
All data created in BigData times is included potentially meaning and correlation in data. A variety of data during a day in all society sectors has become created and stored. Research areas in analysis and grasp meaning between data is proceeding briskly. Especially, accuracy of meaning prediction and data imbalance problem between data for analysis is part in course of something important in data analysis field. In this paper, we proposed data prediction model based on data weights and neural network using R for meaning analysis between data. Proposed data prediction model is composed of classification model and analysis model. Classification model is working as weights application of normal distribution and optimum independent variable selection of multiple regression analysis. Analysis model role is increased prediction accuracy of output variable through neural network. Performance evaluation result, we were confirmed superiority of prediction model so that performance of result prediction through primitive data was measured 87.475% by proposed data prediction model.
Records on weaning (3803) and yearling weight (2990) of beef cattle (Bibos banteng) from the Bali Cattle Improvement Project were examined. A mixed model analysis involving all main non-genetic effects (village, year of birth, season of birth, age of dam, sex of calf, all significant interactions and age at weighing as a covariate) as fixed effects and sire nested within village as a random effect was undertaken. Variance components were estimated by Henderson's Method III. Paternal half-sib components of variance and covariance were used to estimate heritabilities of weaning and yearling weights, as well as their genetic and phenotypic correlations. Heritability estimates ($\pm$ standard error) obtained by Henderson's Method III for weaning and yearling weights were $.11{\pm}.03$ and $.13{\pm}.04$, respectively while the phenotypic and genetic correlations were estimated as .32 and $.64{\pm}.10$, respectively. The parameters estimated in this study were at the lower end of the range of reported values from various breeds. It is concluded that further information should be gathered to assist in estimating genetic parameters for other economic traits of Bali beef cattle and to provide more accurate estimates for weaning and yearling weights. These parameters should then be used to formulate a selection program to enable the genetic improvement of Bali Beef cattle.
To obtain basic information on the improvement of naked barley production. and to clarify the relation-ships between yield or yield components and some meteorogical factors for yield prediction were the objectives of this study. The basic data used in this study were obtained from the experiments carried out for 16 years from 1958 to 1974 at the Chon-nam Provincial Office of Rural development. The simple correlation coefficients and multiple regression coefficients among the yield or yield components and meteorogical factors were calculated for the study. Days to emergence ranged from 8 to 26 days were reduced under conditions of mean minimum air temperature were high. The early emergence contributed to increasing plant height and number of tillers as well as to earlier maximum tillering and heading date. The plant height before wintering showed positive correlations with the hours of sunshine. On the other hand, plant height measured on march 1st and March 20th showed positive correlation with the amount of precipitation and negative correlation with the hours of sunshine during the wintering or regrowth stage. Kernel weights were affected by the hours of sunshine and rainfall after heading, and kernel weights were less variable when the hours of sunshine were relatively long and rainfalls in May were around 80 to 10mm. It seemed that grain yields were mostly affected by the climatic condition in March. showing the negative correlation between yield and mean air temperature, minimum air temperature during the period. In the other hand, the yield was shown to have positive correlation with hours of sunshine. Some yield prediction equations were obtained from the data of mean air temperature, mean minimum temperature and accumulated air temperature in March. Yield prediction was also possible by using multiple regression equations, which were derived from yield data and the number of spikes and plant height as observed at May 20th.
Purpose: The aim of this study was conducted to investigate the mean nRBC count in very low births weight infants (VLBWIs) and to determine the usefulness of the nRBC as an independent prognostic factors of perinatal complications in VLBWIs. Methods: This study was conducted on 112 VLBWIs who were hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of the author's hospital within the period from March 2003 to and May 2008. Based on the infants' nucleated red blood cells (nRBC) counts at birth, on the third day after birth, on the seventh day after birth, in the second week after birth, and in the fourth week after birth in the medical records, the correlation between nRBC or absolute nRBC counts with birth weight, gestational age, and other perinatal outcomes were retrospectively investigated. Results: In VLBWIs, their mean nRBC and absolute nRBC counts were showing a gradual decrease after birth, and they were consisteantly kept at low values since one week after and inversely proportional to the birth weights. The mean nRBC counts based on the stage after birth showed a significant correlation with perinatal death, necrotizing enterocolitis, and severe intraventricular hemorrhage. Conclusion: The increase in the nRBC count showed a significant correlation with having a severe intraventricular hemorrhage, necrotizing enterocolitis, and perinatal death in VLBWIs. If an increase or no decrease in the nRBC count after birth is observed, newborninfant care precautions should be required.

Objective: This study was conducted to evaluate the correlation between body size traits, carcass traits, and primal cuts in Hanwoo steers. Methods: Sixty-one beef carcasses were classified for conformation and primal cut weight. Additionally, carcass weight, fat thickness, carcass dimensions, and longissimus muscle area were determined to complement the grading. Results: The average live weight and cold carcass weight were 759 and 469 kg, respectively. The mean carcass meat, fat, and bone proportions were 551, 298, and 151 g/kg, respectively. Primal cuts weights showed significant positive correlations (p<0.001) of 0.42 to 0.82 with live weight, carcass weight, and longissimus muscle area and a significant negative correlation with carcass fat (without shank, -0.38 to -0.10). Primal cut weights were positively correlated (p<0.01) with carcass length (0.41 to 0.77), forequarter length (0.33 to 0.57), 6th lumbar vertebrae-heel length (0.33 to 0.59), 7th cervical vertebrae carcass breadth (0.35 to 0.58), 5th to 6th thoracic vertebrae breadth (0.36 to 0.65), 7th to 8th thoracic vertebrae girth (0.38 to 0.63), and coxae girth (0.34 to 0.56) and non-significantly related to cervical vertebrae length and coxae thickness. Conclusion: There was a high correlation among live weight, carcass weight, longissimus muscle area, carcass length, 7th cervical vertebrae carcass breadth, 5th to 6th thoracic vertebrae breadth, and 7th to 8th thoracic vertebrae girth of the primal cuts yield. The correlation between fat and primal cut yields was highly significant and negative. Carcass length and 7th to 8th thoracic vertebrae girth, appear to be the most important traits affecting primal cut yields.

Muscle fiber characteristics and their relationship to water-holding capacity of longissimus dorsi (ld) muscle were studied in Brahman (BRA) and Charolais (CHA) crossbred bulls fattened under practical farm conditions. Thirty-four BRA and 34 CHA bulls were randomly selected and slaughtered at 500, 550 and 600 kg live weight. Parameters of water-holding capacity such as drip, ageing, thawing, cooking and grilling loss were determined. Muscle fiber characteristics were conducted for muscle fiber type percentage and cross-sectional areas of slow- and fast-twitch fiber types, and correlation coefficients to water-holding capacity parameters were calculated. Results showed that CHA meat had a better water-holding capacity (less ageing, thawing and grilling loss) when compared with BRA, whereas slaughter weights had no significant effects on these parameters. Furthermore, there were no significant differences between genotypes and slaughter weights in muscle fiber type percentage and cross-sectional areas of ld muscle. Slow- and fast-twitch fiber types of all experimental groups averaged 24.4 and 75.6%, respectively. Cross-sectional areas of fast-twitch fibers had almost twice the size of slow-twitch fibers (6,721 and 3,713 ${\mu}m^2$, respectively). The correlation between muscle fiber area and water-holding capacity indicated that muscles with larger fiber areas had a lower drip and ageing loss but a higher cooking and grilling loss.

In the radio communication, such as echo cancellation and channel equalization, adaptive filtering is very practical. Its convergence behavior that is used for updating the weights depends on the correlation of the input signal and length of adaptive filter. Highly correlated input and long length of adaptive filter deteriorate the convergence behavior. To solve this problem, recently, subband affine projection algorithm which pre-whiten the correlation of the input and update the weights in subband structure has been presented. This paper presents convergence analysis method of multiple constrained subband affine projection algorithm.
The present study was conducted to estimate average weights, and corrlation and regression coefficients among various traits of eggs obtained from Korean native and imported chicken. Data were obtained from 360 layers (180 of Korean native origin, and 180 of imported Decalb Brown) between November 8, 1994 to February 8, 1995. The results obtained are summerized as follows : 1. The mean weights of whole egg, yolk, dense white, thin white, and egg shell of native chicken were lighter (P<0.01) than those of Decalb Brown. 2. The coefficients of variability in each egg trait were lower in native chicken than in Decalb Brown, indicating the higher ability of native chicken to adapt to the local environment. 3. The phenotypic correlation coeffcients between whole egg and weights of yolk, dense white, thin white, and eggshell were 0.842∼0.992(P<0.01) in native chicken, and 0.865∼0.985(P<0.01) in Decalb Brown. 4. The average eggshell thicknesses of native and imported Decalb Brown were 362.5 $\mu\textrm{m}$ and 407.9 $\mu\textrm{m}$, respectively. 5. The regression coefficients of most of the traits of eggs from native chicken were lower than those from Decalb Brown layers, suggesting that Korean native chicken should be improved further in various egg traits measured in this study.
