  • Web based lecture & learning system has changed the conventional learner-oriented educational environment by adding mutual interactions. From the learner competency-based education. the necessity of the learner-oriented education and the mutual cooperation among the learners has been increased. A project-based education system will achieve a progressive development in understanding and the competency for the job to be performed by the mutual interactions between the learners and between the learners and the lecturer. This paper presents the project-based learning system in order to facilitate and achieve the goals of the industrial business processing system implementations in the ongoing popular Internet environments. In the proposed project-based system, the lecturer presents a problem to be solved and leads the education as a supervisor The learner can maximize the efficiency for study by taking advantage of the learner-oriented comparison study and the patterning.

Development of the Contents for Cyber Learning System of Korean Costumes (한국복식 사이버 학습 시스템 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the contents for Cyber Learning System of Korean Costumes on WBI(Web Based Instruction) that can be applied to home economics learning and teaching and used to help learners get more positive attitude toward home economics education through various activities. The contents consist of the materials about Korean costumes that are divided into five periods, that is, three ancient kingdoms(Shilla, Packche, and Koguryo), Unified Shilla, Koryo Dynasty, Chosun Dynasty and early 1900s in Korea. They also consist of lectures on kinds, characteristics, and changing procedures of those costumes. These lectures are supposed to help learners understand the traditional culture of Korean costumes. Furthermore, the lists of terminology on Korean costumes enable learners to solve the problems related to the costumes on their own. In conclusion, the developed contents on Korean costumes for Cyber learning make it possible to learn and teach home economics in the distance by applying the educational information system to secondary schools and to support the learning system for the home economics education in the schools.

A study on factors influencing the decision of Web-based Learning System (Edunet) use (웹기반 학습 시스템(에듀넷) 활용 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is finding factors affecting the decision of Web-based learning system (Edunet) use and searching for ways to diffuse Edunet use. Based on the diffusion of innovations theory and the results of the previous studies about web-based instruction, seven predictors influencing the decision of Edunet use were extracted. Seven variables as the followings; (1) perceived attributes of innovation (Relative Advantage, Compatibility, Complexity) (2) Innovativeness (3) Self-efficacy (4) Subjective Norm (5) Support. The participants were 315, 5-6th grade elementary school students, and the questionnaire was 20-item with 7-point Likert scales. To analyze the collected data and test the hypothesis, binary logistic regression was employed. The result indicated that the fitness of regression model including seven decision factors was proved. In addition, two factors, subjective norm and support, were identified as the important decision factors of Edunet use.

  • In this knowledge-based society, a man of ability should be able to be possessed of abilities to create new knowledge while selecting, acquiring and processing knowledge and information in line with his own purpose and communicating it to other people and sharing it with them. With the aid of the emergence of web, cyber learning in the form of web-based instruction is brought to the fore. Yet, the established way of cyber learning is based on the system where learners should proceed with this study on his own instead of relying on the interaction between teachers and learners. The established way of cyber learning leaves something to be desired in terms of the application of the way to class, being almost bereft of a system capable of recreating knowledge as the result of study. Accordingly, this study is designed to develop a cyber learning system using models with the concepts of knowledge construction. The system enabled students to cultivate abilities to analyze materials and to improve creativity, producing the following system; applying it to the teaching-learning process of social studies: the system capable of being applied to a series of process from the stage of grasping problems to the stage of learning completion; the system enabling teachers and students as well to produce study results; the system enabling students to recreate knowledge in the form of homepages from constructed learning resources instead of producing fragmental knowledge.

  • 지금까지의 웹에서의 학습(실습과목에 대한) 상황은 정지된 이미지를 보고 그에 대한 설명을 학습자가 읽기만 하고 진행되는 시스템이다. 이는 '웹 활용 학습(Web Based Instruction)' 측면에서 볼 때 너무나도 정적이고 학습자 주도적이지 못한 학습 진행 상황이다. 따라서, 학습자의 성취도 또한 낮았다. 이러한 배경을 토대로 인터넷상에서의 실습 과목에 대한 학습진행 상황을 실제 상황과 똑같이 진행될 수 있도록 설계하였다. 진행 상황 화면을 하나씩 캡춰하여 그 이미지에 대한 이벤트 처리를 HTML과 DHTML, JavaScript를 통하여 구현하였다. 이로써, 학습자가 자신의 시스템에 프로그램이 설치되어있지 않아도, 또한 장소를 가리지 않고 인터넷에 접속하여 자기 주도적이고 동적인 학습을 진행할 수 있도록 하였다.

The Development and Evaluation of Web-based Nursing Educational Program;Focused on the Medical Terminology (웹기반의 간호교육 프로그램 개발 및 평가;의학용어를 중심으로)

  • Purpose: The purposed of this study was to develop and evaluate a Web-based for medical terminology educational program. Method: For the development of this program, the NBISD model was applied as a basic model and WBI ID Process Action model was applied. It was executed for 15 weeks along with off-line lectures. After the operation of this program to 210 nursing students, learners' responses were analyzed twice(at 5th week and 15th week). Result: The satisfaction with this program was slightly above the center point. But the structure of system and composition of design were high score. The results of the final evaluation were more positive than those of the interim one. This program have the advantage of easy accessibility and easy understandability with picture and testing. Conclusions: This study proved the importance of the suitability of learning contents and learning form in developing WBI programs and showed possibility for applying WBI to medical terminology. In order to enhance the effects of Web-based medical terminology educational program for, it is necessary to perform analytic comparison with the effect of WBI based on self-directed learning.

  • 초고속 통신망의 발달과 컴퓨터 하드웨어/소프트웨어의 발달은 누구나 쉽게 다양한 멀티미디어 자료를 웹을 통해 접할 수 있게 만들었다. 교육 분야에서도 많은 연구가 진행 되었으며, 웹이 가진 특성인 시간적 문제, 공간적 문제를 해결해 주고 경제 산업적으로 지역, 거리간 불평등을 해소하고 일반 국민들에게 평생교육의 장을 마련할 수 있는, 웹이 가진 특성을 살려 웹에서의 학습 코스웨어를 설계 구현하였다. 본 논문은 WBI(Web Based Instruction) 개발에 관련되는 기법을 바탕으로 컴퓨터 그래픽 강의 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 WBI는 그래픽 프로그램의 하나인 포토샵 6.0 학습을 중심으로 구성하였으며, 이를 통해 교수자와 학습자, 학습자와 학습자간의 상호작용이 원활하고, 다양한 멀티미디어의 활용과 학습자 요구의 교육, 심도 있는 전문화 교육을 할 수 있도록 한다.

  • 정보화 시대의 요구에 대한 교육적 대응은 학습자 중심의 교육이며, 정보통신기술을 기반으로 한 원격교육이다. 특히 인터넷에서 가장 활발하게 사용되고 있는 웹은 그 특성상 구성주의 학습 원리를 실현하는데 적절한 환경을 제공하고 있으며, 교육 시스템의 변화를 가져오고 있다. WBI(Web Based Instruction)는 웹을 매체로 활용하여 원거리에 있는 학습자를 교육시키는 형태로서 교수자와 학습자간 상호작용을 가능하게 하고 다양한 형태의 학습자료를 제공하며, 공간적 제약을 극복할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹에 기반한 교육적 활용의 한 모델로서 학습자의 자기 주도적이고 적극적인 학습을 촉진하기 위한 자기 주도적 학습이론과 학습자의 개인차를 고려한 수준별 학습이론을 적용하여 효율적인 웹 기반 학습이 가능하도록 하였으며 이러한 학습이론을 웹에 기반한 정보처리 기능사 필기시험에 적용함으로써 실업계 고등학교 교육현장의 비효율성과 기존의 문제은행 시스템의 문제점을 보완하여 시험준비에 보다 효율적으로 대비하도록 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 정보 통신의 발달과 인터넷 기술의 발달로 그래픽 등의 매체를 통하여 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않는 학습자 수준에서 적절한 교육을 받을 수 있는 쌍방향 멀티미디어 환경의 원격 웹 기반교육(Web Based Instruction, WBI)이 등장하게 되었다. 인터넷을 활용한 교육을 함으로써 개별화된 교육을 할 수 있고, 학습자들이 인터넷을 통해 함께 탐구하고 대화하며 결론에 도달하는 협력 학습의 장을 제공할 수 있게 되었다. 그래프 알고리즘은 자료구조의 한 분야로 종류도 다양하고 개념도 복잡하여 학습자들이 쉽게 이해하지 못하는 부분이 많았다. 본 논문에서는 그래프 알고리즘을 하이퍼텍스트를 통한 단순한 자료의 제시에 그치지 않고 웹의 장점을 살려 플래시를 통해 각 그래프 알고리즘의 수행단계를 시각적으로 보임으로써 그래프 개념을 쉽게 이해하고 여러 종류의 그래프 알고리즘을 효율적으로 반복 학습할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 C로 구현된 각 알고리즘의 소스를 볼 수 있게 하고 그 결과도 보여줌으로 그래프 알고리즘을 정확히 이해하도록 하였다. 학습 후 평가 문제를 통해 학습자의 이해도를 평가하고 평가 결과를 막대그래프 차트로 보임으로써 비교 평가가 쉽게 구현하였다.

Web-based Automatic Question-Issuing System Using Level Estimation for Learners (학습자의 수준평가를 이용한 웹 기반 자동 문제 출제 시스템)

  • We propose a new web-based automatic question-issuing system, which automatically issue some problems suited to a learner's level according to estimation and analysis of his answers examined previously and communicates interactively with him by using web. Till now, in many researches system issues problems by a learner's direct choice or randomly. So they lack compensation for learner's misunderstanding and wrong answers. This system allows a learner to determine the ratio of ease and difficulty and the number of problems at initial problem-solving time and then issues problems, which reflect his level, from problem pool. Also its accumulative estimate-analysis and current estimate-analysis make it possible for a learner to study intensively about his faulty area.
