Performance of Internet DGPS Using Active X Control (Active X 컨트롤을 이용한 인터넷 DGPS 구현)

  • The aim of this research was performance of Web-based real time DGPS using MS visual basic 6.0 Active X control. This system supported the navigation of rover by transmitting the DGPS correction information of base station via internet and monitored the moving of rover by displaying the corrected results received from rover as well as permitting Web users monitoring for rover. The Web-based DGPS server and the client system using MS visual basic 6.0 Active X control for DGPS displayed on Web-browser with the pre analysis was constructed and the system loading test via Web-browser was performed after debugging this system through the static GPS test and publishing it on Web. Also, the wireless internet DGPS test on Web by changing the distance between a base station and a rover was carried out. As the result of the test, the real time DGPS could be performed by transmitting the correction message which calculated from the server system to the client system continually. The rover could be managed by displaying the location information which received from the client system. Other users also could monitor the rover by connecting with this system via internet in real time.

  • This paper describes technical method about remote control and monitoring of local system by use internet web connection system, which connect local system and system manager works in long distance office. The local system, which will be controlled remotely have constructed with analog/digital signal acquisition device, signal control board and their software. The local systems are constructed with several electronic modules need AC or DC power supply to operate the right way. We used NI labview software to control and monitoring of local system. The computer server for remote connection are constructed with Apache web server, PHP and MySQL ODBC. The experiment for the remote control are need internet web browser which load local control software. By use of web system, we have experimented control and monitoring of local electronic module.

  • In this paper, production information management systems for global manufacturing enterprises is discussed. Three basic technologies to implement the system such as networking, database, and H/W interface technology are investigated, and a web based prototype systems integrating order and production information is developed with two server computers and a educational FMS. A MMI s/w is engaged in interfacing and real-time monitoring of FMS and an intranet is used for communication between the servers and clients.

  • A Battery Monitoring System capable of State-of-Charge(SOC) estimation using the Extended Kalman Filter(EKF) is described in this paper. In order to accurately estimate the SOC of the battery, the battery cells were modeled as the Thevenin equivalent circuit model. The Thevenin model's parameters were measured in experiments. For the Battery Monitoring System, we designed a battery monitoring device that can calculate the SOC estimation using the EKF and a monitoring server that controls multiple battery monitoring devices. We also develop a web-based dashboard for controlling and monitoring batteries. Especially the computation of the monitoring server could be reduced by calculating the battery SOC estimation at each Battery Monitoring Device.

  • A BIPV(Building Integrated PV) system is united by a constituent outer covering and can expect dual effects that reduce expenses for the establishment of a PV system. It is a profitable technology because it does not need a building as it is a stand alone PV system. In this paper, output characteristics analysis of PCS and web-based monitoring of 10kW BIPV, were stimulated and examined for validity. The BIPV system proposed in this paper was established in at BIC (Biotechnology Industrialization Center) of Dongshin University, which was composed with PCS and Web-monitoring system.

  • In this paper, we develope a intelligent monitoring system of Coastal Ocean Environment based on WWW(World Wide Web) and PCS(Personal Communication System). This system have capability of real time processing of enviromental variable from various sensors. The system is composed of three part. The first part is mathematical modeling of real ocean. The second is construction server for real time web page. And the third is developing the measurement system which has wireless(PCS) interface to server.

  • Government R&D Project Management in Korea has had considerable difficulties because of the lack of project monitoring systems and insufficient communication. The National Program for Tera-level Nanodevices (TND Program) is a ten-year R&D program for commercialization in the area of nano technology. Collaboration and communication among the various participants such as business companies, universities, and government R&D institutes are key success factors in this R&D program. TND Program office has developed a Web-based project management system. This system consists of mostly four sub-management functions: (1) Milestones management of all R&D projects; (2) DR (Design Review) management as the mechanism for checking the performance against milestones; (3) Project activity management using the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure); (4) Budget management. Additionally, it also has many R&D supporting functions such as technology information bulletin board, community management, and visual summary of project progress and performance. This system is effective for monitoring research project as well as measuring project performance of the overall research program. This Web-based system has become the useful tool of R&D moving target mechanism and effective communication and collaboration tool. System features and adoption process of the system are also suggested.

  • This paper presents a web-based real-time monitoring system for a photobioreactor using an WiFi wireless network. An WiFi interface can support high speed data transfer, up to 11Mbps and it can be compatible with commercial wireless LAN environment. Thus, the proposed cell culture based on WiFi network can be easily applied to the reconfigurable system and real-time monitoring system. In this paper, we integrate the commercial WiFi module to the various bio-sensors and sensor control board to configure the wireless network. After we evaluate application S/W for monitoring the environment within incubator, we verify the proposed sensor networks for a cell culture system and its monitoring system. This result can be applicable for various bio-applications that require the network configuration and real-time monitoring system.

  • This thesis is dealing with conveyer remote monitoring and control system for shoes process formed by client/server, which is based on Web. Modules for watching and controlling images in a remote by client is manufactured under JAVA, and conveyer server for real-time controlling is founded on RTLinux. And device driver and APIs are developed based on it. Through both manufacturing these software and LEGO-based prototyping, it would present the real-time conveyer controlling system founded on Web to be applied to industrial spots.
