In information retrieval, search engine provide the rank of web page and the summary of the web page information to user. Snippet is a summaries information of representing web pages. Visiting the web page by the user is affected by the snippet. User sometime visits the wrong page with respect to user intention when uses snippet. The snippet extraction method is difficult to accurate comprehending user intention. In order to solve above problem, this paper proposes a new snippet extraction method using fuzzy implication operator and relevance feedback. The proposed method uses relevance feedback to expand the use's query. The method uses the fuzzy implication operator between the expanded query and the web pages to extract snippet to be well reflected semantic user's intention. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve better snippet extraction performance than the other methods.

The Internet is standing in the spotlight of a new medium of advertisement with explosive growth of market share of electronic commerce, several Internet advertising methods have been implemented. Among them, the banner advertising method is typically being used in the Internet, but the users are not willing to see the banner advertising, moreover that method shows low click rate. Accordingly we propose a new Internet advertising method that makes expose advertising content according to proper text keyword in the article of web pages. During user is reading a article of web page, when user puts mouse pointer over a text keyword, previously specified advertising content is appeared on the web page. The proposed method is based on the keyword advertising, and unlike banner advertising, various shape of images can be applied. Also whole web page could be used for advertising area, and the method does not affect loading delay time of web page.

In this paper, a web page that is easy for consumers to access event products in progress at convenience stores was created. In the production process, static crawling and dynamic crawling, two crawling methods for extracting data from event products, were compared and used. Static crawling is an extraction method of collecting static data from a homepage, and dynamic crawling is a method of collecting data from pages dynamically generated from a web page. Through the comparison of the two crawlings, we studied which crawl method is more effective in extracting event product data. Among them, a web page was created using effective static crawling, and 1+1 and 2+1 products were categorized and a search function was added to create a web page.

With development of mobile communications terminal and expansion of mobile Internet, a large number of users can use mobile web contents at anytime and anywhere and will demand service of greater contents. Due to such demand, many studies are being carried out on transcoding contents so that wired web contents can be used in mobile web. However, transcoding and creation of mobile web contents involve difficulties because specifications available from telecommunications companies and mobile terminals have not been standardized. Especially, in order for serving dynamic object of wired web page contents to dynamically change according to time or user, it is required not only to program scripts to suit each terminal, but also to transcode the resources used in advance. For solution to this problem, this study uses the hierarchy structure of DOM (document object model) to display structural characteristics of wired web page. In other words, this study proposes the following technique Wired web pages are analyzed and the results are established as data structure. Then, dynamic object is extracted and the domain is indexed so that, when serving mobile web page, information can be extracted at the indexed position to create mobile web contents for service on real-time basis.

This is to present the information and direction about color scheme image and adjective image in designing web page, by analysing the color image of our country's National University library's web page which is being operated now. The analysis method is to find the RGB of objective site through color emotion standard and to abstract the color chip. It is divided by color scheme image and adjective image. The scope of research is 41 National University libraries registered in National University Libraries Association. The result is that white and grey color of background and colors like light blue and green are main. In case of adjective image, nimble image and clear image was many. next is orderly bellowing image. and elegant image.

Recently with the development in computer technology and its communication system, many changes in medical informatics enable us to use various medical information regardless of time or place. There are many home pages on the web, which provide medical counseling and hospital information. On May 11th 1999, Korean Rheumatology Health Professions Society began its new service as a home page on the web with various rheumatologic health information, questioning/ answering, and so on. This study was undertaken to examine the content and the purpose of health counseling on the web. The data was collected from 173 questioners who visited questioning/ answering site in the KRHPS home page for May 11th, 1999 through November 10th, 1999. Most of the questioners consulted the health problems of their or their families. Over two thirds of them were already diagnosed medically. Rheumatoid arthritis was the most frequent one. Other diseases, such as, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Still's disease were also on the list. Most of the questioners wanted to know treatment strategies, to consult about their symptoms, and to make diagnosis. And many questioners wanted detailed explanations about their diseases or the informations regarding the hospital. These findings suggest that the health counseling on the web may be used to supplement the lack of direct medical interviews with doctors. It also is expected to guide the patients to the right direction.

Recently, distribution of malicious codes using the Internet has been one of the most serious cyber threats. Technology of malicious code distribution with detection bypass techniques has been also developing and the research has focused on how to detect and analyze them. However, obfuscated malicious JavaScript is almost impossible to detect, because the existing malicious code distributed web page detection system is based on signature and another limitation is that it requires constant updates of the detection patterns. We propose to overcome these limitations by means of an intelligent malicious code distributed web page detection system using a real browser that can analyze and detect intelligent malicious code distributed web sites effectively.

Web personalization has focused on extracting web pages interesting to users, to help users searching wanted information efficiently on the web. One of the main methods to achieve this is by using queries, links and users' preferred words in the pages. In this study, we surveyed from the web users the features of pages that are considered important to themselves in selecting web pages. The survey results showed that the content of the pages is the most important. However, images and readability of the page are rated as high as the content for some users. Based on this result, we present a method for maintaining relative weights of major page features differently in the profile for each user, which is used for personalizing web search results. Performance of the proposed personalization method is analyzed to prove its superiority such that it yields as much as 1.5 times higher rate than the system utilizing both queries and preferred words and about 2.3 times higher rate than a generic search engine.

In the Web environment with a huge amount of information, Web page access patterns for the users visiting certain web site can be diverse and change continually in accordance with the change of its environment. Therefore it is almost impossible to develop and design web sites which fit perfectly for every web user's desire. Adaptive web site was proposed as solution to this problem. In this paper, we will present an effective method that uses a probabilistic model of DTMC(Discrete-Time Markov Chain) for learning user's access patterns and applying these patterns to construct an adaptive web site.

사용자의 접속 빈도를 분석하여 즐겨 찾기 사이트를 구성하는 크롬의 Front Page는 매우 유용한 기능이나 해당 브라우저에서만 사용할 수 있다는 제약이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 웹 브라우저에 대한 제약을 받지 않고 사용자의 취향에 맞는 웹 브라우저에서 Front Page를 구성할 수 있는 MyHome에 대해 기술하고자 한다.
