8 비트 MPU 기반의 Web-RTU의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Web-RTU Based on 8 bit MPU)

  • In SCADA systems, an RTU is a device installed at a remote location that collects data, codes the data into a format that is transmittable and transmits the data back to a central station, or MTU. An RTU also collects information from the master device and implements processes that are directed by master device. RTUs are equipped with input channels for sensing or metering, output channels for control, indication or alarms and a communications port. In general, the data are transmitted via a wired communication infrastructure such as RS422 or RS485 between RTU and MTU. But, limited range of wired communication doesn't allow the system to cover remote areas over the limitation, and building a wired communication network is not easy in the circumstances. In this Paper, we design and implement a smart cost-effective Web-RTU that can communicate with MTU via Web. Web is of benefit to the Web-RTU, because it is not only free from the distance limitations, but also is built easily and cost-effectively wherever Internet resources are available. Additionally, Web can be easily applied to the SCADA system with the development of hardware and software for communications. The Web-RTU has a program memory, a data memory and a RAM inside, and uses Atmega128, low-cost 8 bit micro-processor with eight AI(Analog Input). It performs well enough to implement all existing roles of RTU.

Integration of CAD & PDM on web distributed environment using XML-based web service

  • It is certain that the future manufacturing environment will be network-centric and spatially distributed based on Internet. Today, wide variety of distributed computing and communication technologies are available for implementing a system for product data exchange and sharing. One of the technologies that have been received most attentions for product data exchange and sharing is Product Data Management (PDM). PDM tries to integrate and manage process of data and technical documents that are connected to physical product components. In accordance to previous researches about PDM, it can be regarded as an integration tool of many different areas, which ensures that the right information is available to the right person at the right time and in the right form throughout the enterprise. PDM with Web-enabled CAD system is proposed in this paper in order to acknowledge the usefulness of the system mentioned. The system will use Web service on Visual Studio C#.Net to invoke the web application system.

  • Watershed topographical data is essential for the management for water resources and watershed management in terms of hydrology analysis. Collecting watershed topographical and meteorological data is the first step for simulating hydrological models and calculating hydrological components. This study describes a specialized Web-based Geographic Information Systems, Soil Water Assessment Tool model data generation system, which was developed to support SWAT model operation using Web-GIS capability for map browsing, online watershed delineation and topographical and meteorological data extraction. This system tested its operability extracting watershed topographical and meteorological data in real time and the extracted spatial and weather data were seamlessly imported to ArcSWAT system demonstrating its usability. The Web-GIS would be useful to users who are willing to operate SWAT models for the various watershed management purposes in terms of spatial and weather preparing.

  • To query the vast amount of web pages which are available i]l the Internet, it is necessary to extract the encoded information in the web pages for converting it into structured data (e.g. relational data for SQL) or semistructured data (e.g. XML data for XQuery), In this paper, we propose a new web information extraction system, PIES, to convert web information into XML documents. PIES is based on a user-specified target schema and HTML tag pattern descriptions. The web information is extracted by the pattern descriptions and validated by the target schema. We designed a new language to describe extraction rules, and a new regular expression to describe HTML tag patterns. We implemented PIES and applied it to the US patent web site to evaluate its correctness. It successfully extracted more than thousands of US patent data and converted them into XML documents.

  • Application of data mining techniques to the world wide web, referred to as web mining, has been the focus of several recent researches. With the explosive growth of information sources available on the world wide web, it has become increasingly necessary to track and analyze their usage patterns. In this study, we introduce a process of pre-processing and cluster analysis on web log data and suggest a distance measure considering the structural relationships between web contents. Also, we illustrate some real examples of cluster analysis for web log data and look into practical application of web usage mining for eCRM.

Web기반 GIS를 이용한 금강유역의 실시간 수문지형인자 추출 (Web-based GIS for Real Time Hydrologic Topographical Data Extraction for the Geum River Watershed in Korea)

  • Watershed topographical information is required in hydrologic analysis, supporting efficient hydrologic model operation and managing water resources. Watershed topographical data extraction systems based on desktop GIS are abundant these days placing burdens for spatial data processing on users. This paper describes development of a Web-based Geographic Information Systems that can delineate the Geum River sub-basins and extract watershed topographical data in real time. Through this system, users can obtain a watershed boundary by selecting outlet location and then extracting topographical data including watershed area, boundary length, average altitude, slope distribution about the elevation range with Web browsers. Moreover, the system provides watershed hydrological data including land use, soil types, soil drainage conditions, and NRCS(Natural Resources Conservation Service) curve number for hydrologic model operation through grid overlay technique. The system operability was evaluated with the hydrological data of WAMIS(Water Management Information System) with the government operation Web site as reference data.

  • Satellite and aerial images are very useful means to monitor ecological and environmental situation. Nowadays more and more officials at Ministry of Environment in Korea need to access and use these image data through networks like internet or intranet. However it is very hard to manage and service these image data through internet or intranet, because of its size problem. In this paper very large image data service system for Ministry of Environment is constructed on web environment using image compression and web based image processing technology. Through this system, not only can officials in Ministry of Environment access and use all the image data but also can achieve several image processing effects on web environment. Moreover officials can retrieve attribute information from vector GIS data that are also integrated with the system.

  • 인터넷이 발달하면서 기존의 문서들이 웹을 통해 제공된다. 시간이 흐를수록 이들 정보들은 수정 및 추가 등을 통해 데이터의 양은 증가한다. 웹이 광범위하게 사용됨에 따라 정보를 획득하기 위해 대다수의 사용자들이 웹에 의존하고 있으며, 이로 인해 웹을 통한 데이터 관리의 필요성이 증가하고 있다 네트워크로 연결되어 있는 환경에서는 갑작스런 시스템 장애가 자주 발생하며, 이런 위험으로부터 데이터를 안전하게 관리 보호하는 것이 중요한 업무 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 웹상에서 백업과 복구를 통해 데이터 관리를 체계적이고 효율적이며 안정적으로 처리할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다.

  • XML Web Service based on internet can cause problems on transmission speed and data error. Also system analysis results simulated by several different research groups can hardly have reliability because of error data that come from improperly managed files. In order to solve this problems, algorithm sever using XML Web Service is shared on the internet so widely that various application programs based on basic analysis module with a united IO can be developed. And also XML Dataset DB is interacted with XML Web Service, which prevents propagation of error data. It causes to improve reliabilityon the load flow analysis result and solve the problems on data error or transmission speed that can possibly come from internet.
