On account of the text based mail system has it's limit to support multimedia applications, GUI based mail system platform was developed to control document flow and automatize information process. The existing mail systems's to transmit data must need additional functions to automate document flow control. The platform of document flow control is deeply related to EDMAS(Electronic document Management System), workflow, Electronic Banking, DMS(Document Management System) automation, so it needs an ability to control proper data and document correctly. To resolve this problems, we are need of browser and engine to design work flow and to control documents flow. In this paper, we develope a mail browser to design document flow by follow user's requirements. This system can generate executive script code for document flow, and we add the function of workflow and process management to automatize the document flow in this system, and then we implement this Data flow engine.

This paper introduced Internet totally, which is continuously changing, for the aspect of service-improvement to users. Particulary, the concepts, the features and methods of Gopher, Veronica, Archie, WAIS and WWW which are used broadly in the aspect of information retrieval, have been introduced with command-language in Internet. Among them, this paper intends not only to describe in detail the use of Web-browser's method but also to explain about the search engine which is provided in the large online service on the base of actual experience.

The Web is widely used to share information, utilizing the client-server model. In the client-server model, since the server only responds according to explicit requests from the client, the model seems hard to support sharing of massive information rapidly changing in today's Internet. The technology known as Server Push enables the server to actively provide information to clients without explicit requests from the clients using Web pages. Although various studies have been done to realize the Server Push technologies, there are many problems in the development of push application without push engines which support infrastructures for the effective development of push application. In this paper, we develop JPE(Java Push Engine) which presents the effective support for push services over the Internet. JPE is composed of two main components: the JPE Core supporting Epoll and the JPE Library supporting asynchronous communication. In addition, JPE defines various push functions and provides programming interfaces supporting the functions. Push applications developed using JPE effectively manages client connections with Epoll mechanism, providing push services through AJAX-based asynchronous communication.

The present research addresses the system design for building a geospatially-based web services application for mobile users. In recent years, geospatial information(GI) and Geographic Information Systems(GIS) are significant resources in decision-making analyses at various levels of society and activities. Recently, the integration of GIS and web services, called GIS web services, provides the wider implementation of GIS. At the present time, accessing, presenting, and manipulating updatedgeospatial information to locate geo-related facility services are real challenges related to application developers to implement for foot-travelers properly. The present paper investigates how the web services work in a GIS for discovering geo-related facility services such as a restaurant and post office in the user's vicinity. Thus, a prototype, with an architecture consisting of a windows application on the client side as well as facility services and geo-engineon the server side, were designed and implemented with the proposed GIS web services platform. On both the client and server sides, visual studio .Net technology was used. A geo-engine on the server side was also built with ESRI's MapObjects. Following successful implementation of the prototype presented in this study, the mobile user is able to invoke remote web services to assess the location of various facilities such as restaurants. Moreover, the present research demonstratesthat web services are not restricted only to web-based use, but can also be utilized by any web-connected application.

Objectives : The Internet is closely related to the live of modern people in the 21st Century. With increasing interest in health and disease of children, the public has access to a growing supply of information on oriental pediatrics clinic through Internet. The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze the Internet web sites concerning oriental pediatrics clinic in Korea, and study the effectiveness of internet toward oriental pediatrics. Methods : We selected 42 web sites by searching for such keyword as child and oriental Medical clinic at korea major web search engine. The sites were evaluated and analyzed on the basis of 24 is under three evaluation criteria such as quality of contents, the easy of use, reliability of web sites. Results: Study results indicated that 34% of web sites were built in 2004, 58% of oriental pediatrics clinic was located in Seoul & Kyunggi and 84% of them was connected network medical system. About health information was supplied in oriental pediatrics clinic web sites, the growth was high frequent information, 50% of web sites supplied high quality information and 19% of them was supplied high diversity information. Conclusions: It is necessary to control system as information certification system in the area of oriental pediatrics clinic web sites.

Many companies in mechanical engineering fields have accumulated information of design and manufacturing. The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems help information gathering and data managing. However, these systems are not flexible to support suitable functionality for specific product because these systems deal with entire enterprise resources. To cope with this issue, a web-based design support system was constructed for the design process of automotive steel pulley. This system provided 1) search service for part design with key word and clustering map, and 2) estimation service of maximum stress. These services reduced design time by reducing iterative jobs with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) for stress analysis, and by enhancing search for existing data of steel pulley.

The purpose of this study is to develop the classification scheme in subject-based directory search engine for educational research information on the web. Five classification systems. Yahoo Korea, Argus Clearinghouse, DDC, ERIC thesaurus and KEDI thesaurus were measured in terms of coverage of subject fields, system logic, accuracy of terminology and efficiency of searching. For the design of Classification Scheme, this study considered the content of subject areas, features of information resources and efficiency based on users. Finally, the Classification Scheme was established in terms of 16 main divisions and 47 sub-divisions in educational research information.

Because the current web search engine estimates the similarity of documents, using the frequency of words, many documents irrespective of the user query are provided. To solve these kinds of problems, the semantic web is appearing as a future web. It is possible to provide the service based on the semantic web through ontology which specifies the knowledge in a special domain and defines the concepts of knowledge and the relationships between concepts. In this paper to search the information of potential customers for home-delivery marketing, we model the specific domain for generating the ontology. And we research how to retrieve the information, using the ontology. Therefore, in this paper, we generate the ontology to define the domain about potential customers and develop the search robot which collects the information of customers.

지리정보시스템은 이미 우리 생황의 많은 분야에서 활용되고 있으며, 점차 그 활용 범위가 확대되어 가고 있다. 이러한 지리정보시스템을 WWW 환경에서 구축함으로써 웹 브라우저만 있으면 누구나 쉽게 지리정보시스템을 접할 수 있게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 지리정보시스템과 같이 많은 데이터를 처리하기에는 속도상의 문제가 발생할 수 있기 때문에, 이를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 Client/Server 설계, GIS-Engine 설계, 위치 검색 시스템 설계, 수직 분할 구조의 설계 등 Web 기반의 지리정보시스템의 설계 기법을 고찰해 보고, 이들 설계 기법을 이용한 관광지리정보시스템을 설계해 보았다. 앞으로 계속된 연구를 통하여 이를 구현하여 Web-GIS를 관광분야에 활용할 수 있도록 할 것이며, Web-GIS가 단지 지리정보의 검색시스템으로 한정하지 않고 응용 범위를 확대하여 다양한 분야에서 활용될 수 있도록 노력하겠다.
