The object of this study was to help designing of well-fit and comfortable brassieres for the elementary school girls through the survey on actual condition of wearing brassieres. The subjects of investigation for this study was the elementary school girls in the province of Jeonbuk and Taejeon city. The conclusion of this study was as follows; The 40.2% of the total subjects were wearing brassieres like the 63.3% of the fourth, the 85.4% of the fifth, and the 89.7% of the sixth grade students. The main reason of non wearing brassieres was for the underdeveloped breast, and also that of wearing brassieres was for the good shape of the breast. The main types of brassieres were ranked "Tank Top type", "Mold type", and "Adolescent girl-Bra". They had started to wear brassieres by the recommendation of adults who were their mother or teachers, and usually wearing brassieres all day. They usually purchased brassieres "with mother together" or "only by their mother". The standard of choosing brassieres was also ranked by FASHION, CONVENIENCE, SIZE, TOUCH, and SWEAT ABSORPTION. The total score of satisfaction for wearing brassieres was showed "Average score" and the score higher in Jeonju and Taejeon than in Kunsan. The higher grade and fatter was showed decreasing the score of satisfaction. The higher grade became, the more various for the size and preferable a pure cotton fabric for brassieres. The favorite types of brassieres were "Sport Bra" and "Volume-up Bra". They usually purchased a little larger size than their original size of that.
This research to reveal the foot types of old males consisted of two parts. First, a questionnaire was given for 180 old men in their 60s and above who live in Busan. Second, based on this survey on the reality of shoes wearing, direct and indirect measurement were held for 200 old gentlemen. The findings are as follows: 1. Survey Results of Shoes Wearing Reality In the investigation into the reality of shoes possession and wearing, most of old males favored active casual shoes with comfortable materials (40.8%). Hardened skin (23.6%) was the greatest in foot deformation and side effects resulting from shoes wearing, while the big toe (20.1%) was most uncomfortable. The greatest requirement for comfortable shoes was shoes making feet comfortable with a good sense of wear (41.0%), followed by shoes with the soft sole to absorb shock (31.7%), shoes with diverse sizes according to shoes width (13.7%), and shoes made of soft materials in consideration of various foot shapes. 2. Results of Foot Measurement Experiments Busan's males in their 60s and above were 166.31cm (Height), 63.51kg (weight), 23.94cm (foot length), 9.75cm (foot width), and 24.26cm (instep girth). The big toe angle of old males was $11.22^{\circ}$ and the little toe angle $14.70^{\circ}$. Four foot types were classified: 1 (long big foot), 2 (small inside-developed foot), 3 (toe-tip-gathered foot), and 4 (thin flat foot).
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the frequency score of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and concentration of urinary organophosphorus pesticide metabolites in farmers. Methods: The study was conducted in Chungcheongnam-do Province of South Korea. We collected urine samples from 308 farmers from September to December 2017 and May to July 2018. Among them, 17 farmers with urinary creatinine levels outside the normal range were excluded. Information on the frequency of wearing PPE was obtained from the farmers through face-to-face survey. Each frequency of wearing for seven types of PPE was converted into a score and expressed as a total score, which was divided into quartiles. Four types of urinary organophosphorus pesticide metabolites were analyzed using a gas chromatography mass selective detector. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to identify concentrations of urinary organophosphorus pesticide metabolites affected by the frequency of wearing PPE. Results: The average frequency score of wearing PPE was 8.0. The quartiles of frequency score of wearing PPE were divided as follows: 1st quartile (≤1), 2nd quartile (1-6), 3rd quartile (6-12), and 4th quartile (>12). Compared with subjects with a low frequency score of wearing PPE (reference), subjects with a high frequency score of wearing PPE (4th quartile) had lower concentrations of urinary diethyl phosphate (DEP) (p<0.01) and dialkyl phosphate (ΣDAP) (p<0.05), which is the sum of dimethyl phosphate (DMP), DEP, dimethyl thiophosphate (DMTP), and diethyl thiophosphate (DETP). Conclusion: Concentrations of urinary organophosphorus pesticide metabolites were associated with frequency score of wearing PPE. Particularly as the frequency score of wearing PPE increased, concentrations of urinary DMP, DEP, DETP, and ΣDAP significantly decreased. The findings of this study can contribute to the management of health effects among farmers working with pesticides.

This study uses a survey questionnaire to identify the major customer age class of adult women who frequently mountain climb as well as analyze their purchasing behavior and preference of mountain climbing pants. The field survey, classified the types of mountain climbing pants, selected the types of mountain climbing pants that consumers preferred, and then analyzed the degrees of satisfaction for mountain climbing pants based on an evaluation of wearing. Specifically, the patterns of mountain climbing pants preferred by national brands and licensed brands were compared and analyzed. The validities of commercially available mountain climbing pants were analyzed through an evaluation of wearing comfort and an evaluation of wearing on a 3D simulation of the human body. The basic data for the development of mountain climbing pants are presented based on the results. The survey questionnaire results indicate that the major class of women consumers of mountain climbing goods was in the 40s to 50s; in addition, the types they most wore were straight type and functional cut type. The preferred brand was KOLONSPORT (which occupies a 21.2% market share), followed by THE NORTH FACE (13.0%), K2 (11.5%) and Kolping (10.0%). The main reason (26.8% of responses) that they preferred these brands was functionality. The difference in measurement of climbing pants patterns could be analyzed accurately in the pattern analysis, the wearing evaluation by the self-sonsory test and evaluation of wearing comfort through 3D simulation. The results of ANOVA on motions and items indicates that no significant difference was found among motions; however, a significant difference was recognized among items. A comparison of straight type and functional cut type showed that the functional cut type excelled slightly in wearing comfort.

This study analyzes the work environment and the work clothes wearing conditions of shipyard painters. In addition to this, three types of experimental painting work clothes were evaluated by painters in terms of the material performance and wearing functions. The findings on the harmful painting work environmental factors were organic solvents, noise, heavy dust, high temperatures, and noxious fumes. The body parts damaged during painting operations were the skin, arms, whole body, and face. In general, the satisfaction with the wearing performance of work clothes for painting was low especially in regards to sweat absorbency, sweat permeability, body protection, covering, and the work motion suitability. The satisfaction with the wearing sense of painting working clothes (regardless of the type of material) was high in the order of movement comfort> sensual comfort> physiological comfort. The satisfaction in overall comfort according to the types of material was high in the order of nylon> SMS nonwoven fabric> SF nonwoven fabric.

The purpose of this study was to compare clothes-wearing in winter between Korean and Japanese college students and to provide the fundamental data for apparel manufacturers to produce young woman's clothing. A total of 332 Korean female students in the capital area and 347 Japanese female students in Tokyo aged between 19 and 25 were used into data analysis from December 2007 to January 2008. Their majors were Fashion Design and Clothing & Textiles. The questionnaires consisted of 36 questions in total. Their details were as follows: 2 questions about the purposes of wearing clothes in winter, 5 questions about whether or not underwear was worn and its types, 9 questions about the types of wearing outer garments, 17 questions about the types of wearing accessories, and 3 questions about demographic characteristics. The results were as follows: It was found that many female students wore clothes for "a protection purpose" or "an ornamental purpose" in winter. There was significant difference between Korea and Japan. As for the question about whether or not underwear was worn in winter, less Korean students answered than Japanese students that they wore both of upper and lower underwear. More upper underwear was worn than lower underwear. As for the question about the types of wearing outer garments, both Korean and Japanese students answered that they wore 3-layered upper garments in winter most. The types of upper garments worn in winter were different between Korea and Japan. The lower garments worn in winter were different between the two countries as well. The Korean students mainly wore pants while the Japanese students wore skirts. As for the types of accessories, there was significant difference between Korea and Japan about most of the questions about hats and gloves. Korean students wore them more than Japanese students. There was no significant difference between the two countries about whether or not scarves or earmuffs were worn. In both countries, more students wore scarves while less students wore earmuffs.

Consumers experience various emotional responses to clothing in consumption process. These emotional responses are important in explaining consumer behavior of clothing. The Purpose of the study was to identify the types of emotion that consumers experience in the process of wearing clothes. A questionnaire consisted of 35 words expressing emotion was developed. 110 female college students were surveyed to find out consumption experience of clothing. The empirical study was conducted in two ways. One is that the subjects were asked to respond six-point unipolar scale of emotional adjectives to identify the various emotions that consumers experienced. The other is that four different wearing situations were described for the survey and then the subjects were asked to respond same questionnaire. The data surveyed for research were analyzed by factor analysis. The conclusion of empirical study was as follows. The types of emotion that consumers experienced at various situstions were: pleasure, arousal, unpleasure, aversion, dominance, sandness, security and tension.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the types of mouthguards athletes who play contact sports use as well as their perceived discomfort of wearing them in order to analyze the relationship with wearing frequency so as acquire basic data for the development of more user-friendly mouthguards. Methods: The participants, who completed a self-report questionnaire, included 70 contact sports athletes, including high school contact (rugby and boxing) sport department affiliated athletes located in the city of Daejeon. Results: Breathing (p<0.01), fitting (p<0.05), ease of wearing (p<0.01), occlusion (p<0.05), and fatigue in muscles (p<0.05) were positively correlated with wearing frequency. Furthermore, the recognition of the mouthguards was not significantly correlated with wearing frequency. Conclusion: To prevent oral and maxillofacial trauma, multi-directional studies are imperative to develop mouthguards, which are comfortable and cost-efficient.
Volume-up pads are the most common and easiest way to make women with small breasts beautiful. In this study, to develop a volume-up brassiere pad with excellent wearing effects and appearance, 24 different types of volume-up pads commercially available in the online market were investigated and then 11 types were purchased. Among these eleven types, four pads (PAD1, PAD2, PAD3, PAD4) with distinct shapes and materials were selected through a pre-test. They were compared to the newly developed pad for research (PAD5). The results of the study follow. The results of evaluating appearance when wearing the developed pad (PAD5) were significantly higher than that of other pads, and the appearance evaluation score for the full-cup type pad was excellent. In the wearing satisfaction evaluation result, PAD5 showed generally excellent evaluation scores, and in the case of the touch, preference for the fabric material was higher than that of the silicon pad. In the evaluation of motion adaptability, the developed PAD5 showed generally excellent evaluation scores in all movements, indicating that the full-cup type pads had better motion adaptability than the partial-type pads.
This research aims to present the corresponding dimensions of China men's clothes on the basis of size specification of Korea men's suits. The results of this study, with the cooperation of Sejung Company exporting men's clothes to Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province in China, are as follows: 1. Based on the drop standard of KS K 0050, the body types of Chinese men in their 20s were classified. A body types were 55.77%, Y body types were 32.16%, B body types were 11.55% and BB body types were 1.51%. 2. According to the criteria of ready-made dimensions of normal body type suggested in Korea Standards, and in consideration of the basic distribution reality of body dimensions, representative 5 sizes were selected. 3. Research jackets by different sizes were produced and went through wearing tests. The means of 1st wearing test were 3.86, 4.09, 4.09, 3.57, and 3.69. The mean of 2nd wearing test of 88-73-170 size was 4.32. 4. The corresponding size specification of China men's clothes based on those of Korea men's suits were presented here, showing product sizes and physical items in detail.
