개항기 일본으로부터 수입된 의복의 종류와 무역 특성 (Types and Trade Characteristics of Clothes Imported from Japan during the Port-Opening Era)

  • This study explores the types of clothing imported from Japan during the port-opening era and investigates the characteristics of import trade related to these clothing products. This is a literature study based on trade statistics data and books on Western clothing published in Japan during the Meiji period. Research findings are as follows: clothing products imported from Japan were divided into 6 types: 1) clothing, 2) undergarments, 3) shirts, 4) waterproof coats, 5) European-style clothing, and 6) nightgowns. "Clothing" is a unified name for any kind of garment, appearing in import records only from 1877 to 1884. Undergarments and shirts were imported from 1884. Waterproof coats were imported only in 1886 and 1898. European-style clothing and nightgowns were imported from 1902. In the total import of clothes, the proportion of clothing was the highest (48.0%), followed by undergarments (41.3%) and shirts (10.6%), while the ratio of nightgowns and raincoats was almost 0%. During the port-opening period, the change in the import value of clothes did not show a continuous increase, but rather showed a large stepwise increase over the course of several years.

소방펌프차의 고압방수를 위한 중계방수방식에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Relay Pumping Method for the High Pressure of Fire Engine Pump)

  • 본 연구에서는 초고층 건물 화재 등 고압방수가 필요한 상황에서 방수압력을 유지하기 위하여 소방펌프차의 중계방수방법과 활용방안을 정립하고자 시험을 실시하였다. 중계 방수압력의 변화에 대하여 시험결과 소방펌프차의 방수구를 개방하고 측정하였을 경우 방수구를 폐쇄한 상태에서 측정한 결과보다 약 20 %가 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 소방활동 현장에서 보다 더 효율적으로 활용하기 위하여 소방펌프차 2대의 압력을 각각 변화시키면서 시험한 결과에서도 비슷한 효율이 나타나는 것으로 확인되었다. 현재 고압 방수능력이 있는 소방펌프차가 소방서에 배치되어 있지 않고 소방펌프의 형식승인 및 검정기술기준에서도 고압 소방펌프에 대한 규정이 없기 때문에 현재 보유하고 있는 소방차를 활용하여 초고층 화재 등 고압방수의 필요성이 있는 화재현장에 효과적으로 대응하고자 본 연구 결과를 토대로 소방차량 운영 및 활용방안을 제안한다.

하이테크 기능성 액티브 스포츠웨어의 소재경향에 관한 연구 (Study on the Fabric Trend in Hi-Tech Functional Active Sportswear)

  • The outcome of modem sports events are reliant on not only the athletic ability and technology of individual players but their sportswear proterties. State-of-the-Hitech sportswear has started to be introduced in the 1950s, and in addition to the athletic capability of players, sportswear is one of the primary factors to affect the results of sports games, as a wide variety of Hi-Tech functional materials have come out since the 1990s. The purpose of this study was to development into the concept of active sportswear, to sort out hitech functional product lines in this field, to look into sports stars and Hi-Tech functional sports brands, and finally to identify the major characteristics of recent active sportswear. The result of this study were as follows: 1. There were largely four characteristics in recent functional sportswear materials: fast-drying cooling, minimized resistance, ultralight comfortableness, and water vapor permeable/waterproof function. 2. Besides the athletic capability and technology of players, Hi-Tech functional products are one of the major factors to determine the outcome of modem sports events. Functional synthetic fiber is preferred, instead of cotton, since the former is easier to manage and retains humidity better. 3. The major features of recent trend in active sportswear products are, functional, diversity and value. That is, those products are functional, since they are easy to manage and retain proper humidity, and they are for multipurpose, since they are fashionable and practical at the same time. And they are valuable, being expensive but appropriate for the movement of the body and having a high quality.

국내 남성 아웃도어 웨어에 나타난 이미지 분석 (An Analysis of the Image of Domestic Men's Outdoor Wear)

  • This research reviewed the developmental process of domestic outdoor wear and later analyzed the images given out by men's outdoor wear. The research results are as follows. First, military supplies left by American soldiers were dyed or reformed and then worn, and daily wear were mainly worn in the 1960s. Wears made from light and waterproof materials were worn and equipments were used in the 1970s. High functioning materials which allowed simultaneous breathability, waterproof and thermal insulation functions were used for wears in the 1980s. For the jacket especially, functionality was enhanced sith zippers, snaps and velcro to prevent cold air penetration in the 1990s. Florescent piping decorations and logo decorations, and prints and colors which reflected the trend, were used to emphasize fashionity and decorativeness in the 2000s. Second, Sophisticated image emphasized urban feeling with toned-down windbreaker jackets without much detail, with down jacket and pants. Casual image expressed a relaxed feeling with windbreaker jacket, shirts, jumper, vest and pants made of cotton, mesh knit and denim. Active image emphasized functionality by brightly colored windbreaker jackets, down jacket and pants. Ethnic image expressed an exotic mood with windbreaker jackets with stylized prints, with jumper, down jacket and pants. Military image showed a strong masculine feeling with jackets adorned with epaulettes, khaki colors and camouflage prints, with jumper, T-shirts, vest, shorts and pants. Avantgarde image exuded an experimental and unique feeling with jackets made of various colors and materials, such as cotton, jersey and glossy materials, with down jacket and jersey pants.

CFRP CNT 패널을 적용한 동물용 X-ray 디텍터 디자인에 관한 연구 (A study on design for animal X-ray detector using CFRP CNT panel)

  • 사용자 중심의 서비스디자인 방법론을 통한 디자인개발을 진행하고 시제품 제작 시 소재 선정 기준에 대해 조사분석하여 선정된 소재인 CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics) CNT(Carbon Nano Tube)를 동물용 X-ray 디텍터 패널부분에 적용하여 제품디자인 및 시제품 개발을 진행하고 CFRP CNT 패널을 적용하여 완성된 시제품을 Drop 테스트, 전면 외압 강도 시험, 방진/방수 성능 시험을 진행하여 야외환경에서 사용하는 휴대가능한 동물용 X-ray 디텍터로 활용이 가능한 제품임을 확인하였다.

  • Roof and exterior wall of general formal buildings are designed and constructed through design focused exterior wall system and drainage and waterproof roof system. However, there are no classification of exterior wall and roof in freeform buildings and they are integrated as a surface of freeform buildings. Therefore it is necessary to develop the dry roof construction method using double skin roof system satisfying the design and function of the envelope. In this study, we have an effort to develop construction method of double-skin roof system using metal panel and PV.

Designing an Outdoor Linear LED Luminaire with Gore-Tex Filters

  • We introduce a novel outdoor linear LED luminaire enhanced with Gore-Tex filters, designed to overcome the challenges of moisture and thermal management in harsh environments. This luminaire integrates expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE)-commercially known as Gore-Tex-achieving superior waterproofing and dustproof qualities while maintaining breathability to prevent internal condensation. The design process, from conceptualization through prototyping and testing, is detailed, highlighting the luminaire's improved durability and stability under varying conditions. Experimental results demonstrate that our design significantly extends the operational lifespan and reliability of outdoor LED lighting systems by mitigating thermal and moisture-related degradation. This study not only advances ePTFE's application in lighting technologies but also offers a scalable model for enhancing the performance of LED luminaires in outdoor settings.

교면포장의 수분손상 저감을 위한 체류수 배수공법 개발 (Development of a Drainage System to Mitigate Moisture Damage for Bridge Deck Pavements)

  • 본 연구의 주목적은 최근 국내 아스팔트 교면포장의 가장 빈번한 파손의 하나인 포트홀의 발생을 저감하기 위해 포장체내에 체류된 수분을 신속히 배수할 수 있는 배수시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 이러한 배수시스템은 방수층과 포장층 사이에 $2{\sim}3cm$의 두께로 박층의 배수층을 구성하는 것으로서 방수층의 내구성 확보와 골재 최대입경 10mm이하의 배수성 혼합물을 박층으로 시공하는 기술이 가장 중요한 사항이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 먼저 NCAT 배합설계법을 바탕으로 10mm 이하 배수성 혼합물을 개발하였고, 다양한 실내시험을 통하여 배수성 혼합물이 모든 품질기준을 만족함을 확인하였다. 방수층의 경우 MMA(Methyl Methacrylate)계 방수제의 적용성을 평가하기 위하여 저온 휨 시험, 접착인장강도 시험 등의 시험을 실시하였고 모든 물성이 기준을 만족하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 배수시스템의 현장시공성 및 공용성을 평가하기 위하여 고속도로의 1개소 교량에 시험시공을 실시하였다. 시공후 각 포장층 재료에 대한 품질확인 시험결과 모두 기준을 만족하였고 체류수가 원활히 배수되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

방수형 로봇팔의 설계, 실험 및 제어 연구 (A study on design, experiment control of the waterproof robot arm)

  • 본 논문에서는 화재나 홍수로 인하여 침수된 건물 내부를 탐사할 수 있는 새로운 방수형 4축 로봇팔을 설계하고 로봇의 기구학 및 동역학 해석을 수행한다. 로봇팔은 카메라를 이용한 탐사를 위한 Pitch-Pitch-Pitch-Yaw 4축 구조로 설계하고, 이를 구동하기 위한 관절구동기의 용량을 선정한다. 또한 수심 10m의 방수가능한 관절구동기를 설계 하고 실제 구동시험을 통하여 방수성능을 검증한다. 설계한 로봇팔의 순기구학 및 역기구학 식의 해석을 통해 닫힌 해를 유도하며, 메커니컬실의 마찰력을 고려한 로봇팔의 운동방정식을 뉴턴-오일러 방법에 의해 유도한다. 유도한 동역학식을 이용하여 개발한 로봇이 목표궤적을 잘 추종할 수 있도록 슬라이딩모드 제어기를 설계하고, 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 성능을 확인한다.
