대나무/폴리락틱산 바이오복합재료의 기계적, 열적, 충격 및 수분흡수 특성에 미치는 대나무섬유 분쇄의 영향 (Effect of Bamboo Fiber Grinding on the Mechanical, Thermal, Impact, and Water Absorption Properties of Bamboo/Poly(lactic acid) Biocomposites)

  • 본 연구에서는 대나무섬유의 분쇄 유 무에 따라 섬유함량이 각각 30, 40, 50 wt%인 대나무/PLA 펠렛을 압출공정으로 제조하고 사출공정을 통해 대나무/PLA 바이오복합재료를 성형하여 그들의 기계적, 열적, 충격 특성과 수분흡수성을 조사하였다. 대나무/PLA 바이오복합재료의 굴곡탄성률, 인장탄성률, 저장탄성률 및 충격강도는 neat PLA에 비하여 두드러지게 증가되었다. 특히 탄성률은 분쇄된 대나무섬유의 도입에 의하여 더욱 증가하였다. 또한 분쇄한 대나무섬유의 사용이 바이오복합재료의 장시간 동안 측정한 수분에 대한 저항성 증가에 효과적이었다. 대나무섬유의 사용이 neat PLA의 열변형온도를 약 16% 향상시키는 효과를 나타내었으나, 분쇄된 대나무섬유의 사용에 의한 증가는 미미하였다. 분쇄된 대나무섬유의 사용은 바이오복합재료의 인장강도와 충격강도에는 크게 영향을 주지 않았다.

직사각형 해양구조물의 자유낙하 슬래밍 충격압력 및 유동특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Slamming Impact Pressure and Flow Characteristics by Free Fall of Rectangular Marine Structure)

  • 본 연구에서는 자유낙하하는 직사각형 해양구조물($800{\times}250{\times}50mm^3$)의 슬래밍 충격압력 및 유동특성을 알아보고자 실험을 수행하였다. 유동장의 계측은 2-프레임 그레이레벨 상호상관 PIV기법을 이용하였으며, 자유낙하하는 모델의 충격압력은 압력계측장비(Dewatron)를 이용하였다. 모델과 자유수면간 이루는 각은 $10^{\circ}$$20^{\circ}$를 적용하였다. 속도장은 접수보다 이수에서 빠른 유동특성을 나타냈다. 모델 하부에서 충격압력이 가장 높은 지점인 P2 지점에서 $10^{\circ}$보다 경사각이 큰 $20^{\circ}$에서 약 6 % 상승하였다.

유역의 불투수성에 따른 강우유출특성 비교 (The Watershed Imperviousness Impact for the characteristic of stormwater runoff)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand imperviousness impact for the characteristics of stormwater runoff and water temperature. The land-use map was used to estimate the watershed imperviousness(percent of impermeable area) and the RMS(Remote Monitoring System) was used to evaluate the stormwater runoff of watershed. This study was investigated for two streams(Jiam and Gongji) in Chunchon City. The detailed results of these studies are as follows; The imperviousness(%) of two watersheds(Jiam and Gongji) estimated by spatial analysis which is main function of GIS were 0.24% and 24.16%. So, Gongji watershed as urban area was about 100 times than jiam watershed as forest area. In case of rainfall of low intensity, stormwater runoff flowrate in higher imperviousness area(Gongji) was more than it in forest area(jiam). Also, The time to peak flowrate(Tp) was short in Gongji stream and the water temperature difference between Gongji and Jiam stream was about $4.4^{\circ}C$ in summer.

액적의 충격력 측정을 위한 유연 멤브레인 센서의 PDMS 변형에 의한 민감도의 영향 (The Effect of the Deformation on the Sensitivity of a Flexible PDMS Membrane Sensor to Measure the Impact Force of a Water Droplet)

  • This study investigates the effect of the deformation on the sensitivity of a flexible polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) membrane sensor. A PDMS membrane sensor was developed to measure the impact force of a water droplet using a silver nanowire (AgNW). The initial deformation of the membrane was confirmed with the application of a tensile force (i.e., tension) and fixing force (i.e., compressive force) at the gripers, which affects the sensitivity. The experimental results show that as the tension applied to the membrane increased, the sensitivity of the sensor decreased. The initial electrical resistance increased as the fixing force increased, while the sensitivity of the sensor decreased as the initial resistance increased. The movement of the membrane due to the impact force of the water droplet was observed with a high-speed camera, and was correlated with the measured sensor signal. The analysis of the motion of the membrane and droplets after collision confirmed the periodic movement of not only the membrane but also the change in the height of the droplet.

Impact of assimilating the terrestrial water storage on the water and carbon cycles in CLM5-BGC

  • Terrestrial water storage (TWS) includes all components of water (e.g., surface water, groundwater, snow and ice) over the land. So accurately predicting and estimating TWS is important in water resource management. Although many land surface models are used to predict the TWS, model output has errors and biases in comparison to the observation data due to the model deficiencies in the model structure, atmospheric forcing datasets, and parameters. In this study, Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment (GRACE) satelite TWS data is assimilated in the Community Land Model version 5 with a biogeochemistry module (CLM5.0-BGC) over East Asia from 2003 to 2010 by employing the Ensemble Adjustment Kalman Filter (EAKF). Results showed that TWS over East Asia continued to decrease during the study period, and the ability to simulate the surface water storage, which is the component of the CLM derived TWS, was greatly improved. We further investigated the impact of assimilated TWS on the vegetated and carbon related variables, including the leaf area index and primary products of ecosystem. We also evaluated the simulated total ecosystem carbon and calculated its correlation with TWS. This study shows that how the better simulated TWS plays a role in capturing not only water but also carbon fluxes and states.

광역개발계획과 환경영향평가 : 아산만권 및 부산권 광역개발계획을 중심으로 (Metropolitan Area Development Planning and Environmental Impact Assessment in Korea : With Special Reference to Pusan and Asan-Bay Metropolitan Area Development Planning)

  • This study analyzes the problems of environmental laws, development planning laws, Metropolitan Area Development Planning(MADP), and the level of environmental pollution at Pusan and Asan-Bay Metropolitan Area where MADP will be realized in the near future. In order to prevent the environmental pollution by realization of MADP, Environmental Impact Assessment Act and environmental impact assessment systems in Korea should be revised so as to reflect the followings. First, the impact of national landuse planning change on the environment should be considered at the beginning of environmental impact assessment procedures. Second, the overlapping and greater impact of many projects, whose part is the subject of environmental impact assessment, upon surrounding metropolitan area should be simultaneously evaluated and the environmental pollution protection and abatement alternatives must be made according to the above impact of the projects. Thirdly, total effluent regulation of water pollution, air pollution and solid wastes should be enforced based on the self-purification of the metropolitan area environment.
