하천유역의 홍수관리 시스템 모델 (Flood-Flow Managenent System Model of River Basin)

  • A flood -flow management system model of river basin has been developed in this study. The system model consists of the observation and telemetering system, the rainfall forecasting and data-bank system, the flood runoff simulation system, the dam operation simulation system, the flood forecasting simulation system and the flood warning system. The Multivariate model(MV) and Meterological-factor regression model(FR) for rainfall forecasting and the Streamflow synthesis and reservoir regulation(SSARR) model for flood runoff simulation have been adopted for the development of a new system model for flood-flow management. These models are calibrated to determine the optimal parameters on the basis of observed rainfall, streamflow and other hydrological data during the past flood periods. The flood-flow management system model with SSARR model(FFMM-SR,FFMM-SR(FR) and FFMM-SR(MV)), in which the integrated operation of dams and rainfall forecasting in the basin are considered, is then suggested and applied for flood-flow management and forecasting. The results of the simulations done at the base stations are analysed and were found to be more accurate and effective in the FFMM-SR and FFMM0-SR(MV).

항구에 있어서 갑거(문)의 적정규모결정을 위한 대기행열의 모의조작에 관한 연구 (A Study on Queuing Simulation for Determination of Optimun Lock Size)

  • In general, the lock structure is built at place of having great deal range for dealing with effective ships operation such as in the west coast of Korea. In Inchon harbour, the two locks of 10 KT and 50 KT tonnage class in total has been constructed for several years age, however, it has been recorded many waiting vessels at outer harbour due to the increment of oceangoing vessels & shortage of berthing facilities in accordance with beyond expectation of cargo amount increment. This paper attempts to solves the waiting vessels problem at outer harbour by simulation in applying queing theory. It is found that the simulation results such as average queue time, service time, and queue length during lock operation can be applied to find the minimum of the cost function for determination of optimum Lock Size

수치모델에 의한 만내의 2차원 동수력학 해석 (Tow Dimensional Hydrodynamic Study in the Bay by a Mathematical Model)

  • 본 연구에서는 수심평균치를 사용하는 만내의 2차원 동수력학 모델은 운동방정식과 연속방정식을 기본방정식으로 하고 이를 수치해석 기법의 하나인 유한차분법으로 해석을 실시하였다. 유한차분법의 해석기법으로는 Leendertse의 Multi-operation method가 사용되었고, 그 결과 만내의 2차원 유속분포와 수심변화를 얻을 수 있었다. 본 모델의 적용대상 지역으로는 부산만이 선정되었고 모델링 실시 결과 만내의 유속은 10cm/sec를 넘지 않고, 조류는 남북방향이 우세한 것으로 나타났고, 이는 실측자료와도 부합되고 있었다.

관개지구의 관행 물관리를 고려한 저수지 용수공급량 추정 (Estimation of Amounts of Water Release from Reservoirs Considering Customary Irrigation Water Management Practices in Paddy-Field Districts)

  • The DIROM (Daily Irrigation Reservoir Operation Model) was modified to estimate amounts of water release from reservoirs, considering customary irrigation water management practices, such as water supply for puddling and transplanting paddy rice from seeding beds and mid-season drainage. The applicability of the modified model was investigated by simulating amounts of water release from three study reservoirs: Hwamae, Ogi, and Doya Reservoirs. In terms of annual amounts of water release, the relative errors between the observed and simulated values in 2012 and 2013 ranged -26.20 % to 10.28 % and 4.90 % to 30.06 %, respectively; in case of reservoir water levels, the RMSE values ranged 0.45 m to 1.34 m and 0.40 m to 1.27 m, respectively. Also, it was revealed that the model provided better simulation results for monthly water releases than the original model. In addition, the model presented better performance in simulating 10-day amounts of water release from April to June. However, the model had still significant errors in the simulation results from July to September because the reservoirs were practically operated to adapt to water management circumstances. Finally, it is concluded that the modified DIROM can estimate the amounts of water release from reservoirs, reflecting irrigation water management customs in paddy-field districts. To achieve higher prediction accuracy of the model, it is necessary to incorporate practical reservoir operation rules into the model.

상류 댐 방류량 및 하천수 사용량이 팔당댐 유입량에 미치는 영향 평가 (Assessing the Effect of Upstream Dam Outflows and River Water Uses on the Inflows to the Paldang Dam)

  • 본 연구에서는 한강수계의 팔당댐 상류를 대상으로, 상류 댐들의 운영 및 하천수 사용이 하류구간의 유출에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 분석하였다. SWAT-K 유역모형을 적용하여, 2001~2009년에 대해 상류댐 운영 및 하천 취수량 적용 유무에 따른 조건별 모의결과를 분석한 결과, 소양강댐과 충주댐 등 다목적댐 운영에 따른 방류량이 갈수기와 홍수기의 하류구간 유출에 가장 크게 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이로 인해 갈수량이 팔당댐 지점에서 $100.57m^3/s$, 북한강 종점 $33.01m^3/s$, 양평수위표 지점 $49.66m^3/s$만큼 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 하천수 사용에 따른 영향은 북한강 지역은 거의 나타나지 않았으며, 남한강 지역도 양평수위표 지점에서 $0.98m^3/s$의 갈수량 감소가 나타나 팔당댐 유입량에는 큰 영향이 없었다. 따라서, 장기간의 유출 및 유황분석에서는 횡성댐과 같이 규모가 작은 댐 운영이나 하천수 취수 영향은 제외시켜도 무방할 것으로 생각된다. 그러나 물이용이 집중되는 특정기간의 정교한 수문해석이나 취수량이 많은 하천구간을 대상으로 하는 유출 분석에서는, 취수량은 물론 유역내 물이동량에 대한 정보가 필수적으로 고려되어야 할 것이다.

비파괴 기술을 이용한 대구경 수도용 밸브의 상태평가에 관한 연구 (A study on the condition assessment of large diameter water valves using non-destructive technologies)

  • In this study, non-destructive technologies that can be applied to evaluate the integrity of valve materials, safety against internal pressure caused by corrosion, and the blocking function of large-diameter water valves during operation without requiring specimen collection or manpower entering the inside of the valve were tested to assess the reliability of the technologies and their suitability for field application. The results showed that the condition of the graphite structure inside the valve body can be evaluated directly through the optical microscope in the field without specimen collection for large-diameter water butterfly valves, and the depth of corrosion inside the valve body can be determined by array ultrasound and the tensile strength can be measured by instrumented indentation test. The reliability of each of these non-destructive techniques is high, and they can be widely used to evaluate the condition of steel or cast iron pipes that are significantly smaller in thickness than valves. Evaluation of blocking function of the valves with mixed gas showed that it can be detected even when a very low flow rate of mixed gas passes through the disk along with the water flow. Finally, as a result of evaluating the field applicability of non-destructive technologies for three old butterfly valves installed in the US industrial water pipeline, it was found that it is possible to check the material and determine the suitability of large-diameter water valves without taking samples, and to determine the corrosion state and mechanical strength. In addition, it was possible to evaluate safety through the measurement results, and it is judged that the evaluation of the blocking function using mixed gas will help strengthen preventive response in the event of an accident.

유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 서변 가압장 수리구조물의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of Hydraulic Device at the Seobyun Pumping Station using Genetic Algorithm)

  • 본 연구에서는 대구광역시에 위치하고 있는 서변 펌프가압장에서 발생되는 수격압을 최소화하기 위해 사용되는 감압밸브와 공기밸브의 최적 위치결정과 감압밸브의 최적 열림정도를 도모하였다. 가압장에서 발생하는 펌프의 급정지에 기인한 수격현상은 특성선방법을 이용하여 모의를 하였다. 최적화 방법은 강력한 탐색능력을 가지고 있으며 특히 비선형 문제를 해결하는데 탁월한 성능을 가지고 있는 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 실시하였다. 유전자 알고리즘의 계산결과는 감압밸브의 열림시간을 적게 할수록 최고 압력수두의 완화에 효과적이고, 열림시간을 크게 할수록 최대부압의 완화에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 특성선방법을 기반으로 하는 관망부속물들의 해석이 유전자 알고리즘과 결합되어 관로내 관로부속물의 최적설계에 도움을 줄 수 있음을 보여준다.

용수공급을 고려한 홍수기 저수지 운영방안 (Flood Season Reservoir Operations Considering Water Supply Objective)

  • 홍수기 동안의 저수지 운영은 효율적인 홍수조절과 갈수기를 대비한 용수량 확보를 모두 고려해야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 목적을 위하여 세트 컨트롤 알고리즘(SCA)을 홍수기 저수지 운영방안으로 적용하였다. SCA의 개념은 유입량이 일정한 범위 안에서 주어질 경우에 저수지의 상태가 허용범위 내에서 유지되도록 하는 저수량과 방류량의 조절 세트(Control Set)를 저수지 운영자에게 제공해주는 것이다. 본 연구에서 사용된 유입량 세트는과거자료를 이용하는 경우와 합성된 자료를 이용하는 경우, 그리고 앙상블 예측(ESP) 시나리오를 이용하는 경우로 구분하였다. SCA의 우수성을 검증하기 위하여 기존의 현행제한수위와 가변제한수위를 이용한 방안과 비교하였다. 이를 충주댐에 적용하여 총 5년(1996~2000) 동안의 모의운영을 실시한 결과, SCA를 이용하는 운영방안이 현행제한수위나 가변제한수위를 이용하는 운영방안보다 우수하였고 SCA 중에서는 앙상블 예측기법(ESP)을 이용한 경우가 가장 우수하였다.

관개용수로의 자동수위측정 자료를 활용한 농업용 저수지 공급량 산정 및 분석 (Assessing Irrigation Water Supply from Agricultural Reservoir Using Automatic Water Level Data of Irrigation Canal)

  • KRC (Korea Rural Community Corporation) is in charge of about 3,400 agricultural reservoirs out of 17,240 agricultural reservoirs, and automatic water level gauges in reservoirs and canals were installed to collect reservoir and canal water level data from 2010. In this study, 10-minute water level data of 173 reservoir irrigation canals from 2016 to 2018 are collected, and discharge during irrigation season was calculated using rating curves. For estimation of water supply, irrigation water requirement was calculated with HOMWRS (Hydrological Operation Model for Water Resources System), and the summation of reservoir water storage decrease was calculated with daily reservoir storage data from RAWRIS (Rural Agricultural Water Resource Information System). From the results, the total yearly amount of irrigation water supply showed less than 10% difference than the irrigation water requirement. The regional analysis revealed that reservoirs in Jeollanam-do and Chungcheongnam-do supply greater irrigation water than average. On the contrary, reservoirs in Gyeongsangnam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do supply less than others. This study was conducted with a limited number of reservoirs compared to total agricultural reservoirs. Nevertheless, it can indicate irrigation water supply from agricultural reservoirs to provide information about agricultural water use for irrigation.

CFD를 이용한 펌프확산 및 수리낙차 방식의 혼화공정 흐름 분석 (MIXING PROCESS FLOW ANALYSIS OF PDM AND HYDRAULIC MIXING BASIN SYSTEM USING CFD)

  • The mixing of water and chemicals is an important process in the water purification plant. In this paper, we compare PDM(pump diffusion mixer) and hydraulic mixer at the basin in the mixing process. The proper flow rates are predicted and compared in both mixers using CFD technique. As a result, the flow rate of purifier chemical liquid should be 5% of that of water for the optimal performance of mixing process. The characteristics of the two mixing methods are compared with each other for strong and weak points on the operation of the purification system, discussed in the view point of CFD simulations.
