저분자 유기산에 의한 중금속 오염토양의 복원 (Remediation of Contaminated Soil with Heavy Metal Using Low Molecular Weight Organic Acids)

  • For the remediation of the contaminated soil with heavy metals, Cd, Cr, Cu, and Pb, the reaction parameters were optimized. Tartaric acid (TA) and oxalic acid(OA) as a washing agent and recovery of metals, The optimum washing conditions of TA and OA were in the ratio of 1 : 20 between soil and acid solution during 2hr reaction under unbuffered pH solutions. At the optimized reaction conditions, the removal efficiencies were compared with that of 0.1 M HCl and ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA). TA showed higher efficiency on the removal of Pb than that of EDTA, which established for the remediation of contaminated soil with Pb and Cd metals. The recovery of metal ions from washing solution was achieved by adding calcium hydroxide and sodium sulfide by forming the precipitation of metal hydroxide and metal slfied. Optimum amounts of sodium sulgide and calcium hydroxide were Cd = 25g/$\ell$, Cu = 5~10g/$\ell$ and Pb = 5~10g/$\ell$ for the washing solution of OA and 2~5g/$\ell$ for the washing solution of TA, respectively. The amounts of $Na_2S$ and $CA(OH)_2$ for the tartaric acid was less than that of oxalic acid.

토양세척법에 의한 클레이사격장 납 오염토양의 정화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Remediation of Lead Contaminated Soil in a Clay Shooting Range with Soil Washing)

  • For an efficient remediation of Pb-contaminated soil (S-1) in a clay shooting range, a soil washing test was performed with mineral acid, organic acid, chelating agent, and chloride. The Pb extraction efficiency of extractant (0.1 M) used in the washing test showed the order of HCl > $Na_2$-EDTA > NTA > DTPA > citric acid > malic acid > succinic acid > acetic acid > $CaCl_2$ > $MgCl_2$, for S-1 soil. As compared to initial Pb concentration, extraction efficiency by the concentration of extractant was 93.35%, 80.80%, 73.92%, and 24.57% in S-1 soil for HCl (0.5 M, pH 1.10), $Na_2$-EDTA (0.01 M, pH 3.99), citric acid (0.5 M, pH 1.27), and $MgCl_2$ (0.1 M, pH 8.82), respectively. S-1 soil had 56.83% of residue form and 43.17% of non-residue form (18.04% of exchangeable form), respectively. Although the concentrations of these fractions sharply decreased after HCl washing, since the exchangeable forms with relatively large mobility are still distributed as high as 18.78% (to Pb total content in residual soils) in S-1 soil, it is necessary to devise a proper management plan for residual soils after soil washing application.

  • 본 연구는 중금속(Zn, Cd)으로 오염된 토양을 여러 세척 용제(물, mineral acid, chelating agent, organic acld)를 가지고 탈착시켜 제거하는 실험으로 pH와 농도에 따라 회분식과 연속식 실험을 병행하였다. 물과 NaOH에 의한 세척 효과는 거의 없는 것으로 나타났으며 HCI, EDTA, Oxalic acid에 의한 세척 효과는 매우 높게 나타났다. HCI에 의한 세척효과가 가장 높은 이유는 낮은 pH에 의한 중금속의 이온화 현상에 의한 것으로 사료되며 EDTA, Oxalic acid의 효과가 높은 것은 용해도를 증가시켜 중금속 이온과 많은 착물을 형성하기 때문이다. 또한 Zn이 Cd보다 대체적으로 탈착율이 좋았으며 일반적으로 제거 경향은 pH가 낮을수록, 세척 용제의 농도가 높을수록 탈착율이 증가하였다. 중금속으로 오염된 토양 복원시 Zn의 세척 용제로는 HCI 과 EDTA를, Cd의 세척 용제로는 HCI과 Oxalic acid를 가지고 세척을 함으로써 효과적으로 정화되는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 철도에서 유래한 중금속 오염 토양을 정화하기 위해 세척방법의 타당성을 연구하였다. 유기산과 무기산을 사용하여 중금속 세척효율을 비교한 결과 무기산이 유기산보다 우수한 효과를 나타내었다. 일반적으로 세척효율이 우수하다고 알려진 ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA)는 본 오염 토양의 세척에는 효과적이지 않았다. 무기산 중에는 HCl이 제일 우수한 효과를 보였으나, 세척효율은 0.5 M 에서도 30% 수준이었다. 특히 Zn와 Ni의 제거율이 다른 중금속에 비해 낮았다. 이는 Zn 와 Ni의 토양오염공정시험방법 상의 분석법이 왕수 추출에 의한 전함량이기 때문에 더 낮은 것으로 사료된다. 다른 중금속은 비교적 높은 70% 이상의 세척효율을 얻을 수 있었다. 결과적으로 단순한 세척공법은 중금속 유래 철도오염 토양을 처리하는데 적합하지 않다.

  • 천연 광물질, 식물질, 정수장 슬러지를 이용하여 친환경적인 수수질정화제와 이를 활용하는 오폐수복합처리시스템을 개발하였다. 오폐수복합처리시스템은 오염수 유입, 수질정화제 투입, 가압부상장치 가동, 슬러지 부상, 슬러지 수거 및 처리수 배출의 과정을 거친다. 이 장치를 축분 탈리액, 육계 세척수, 공장 폐수, 하수종말처리장 및 연못의 녹조제거에 적용하여 우수한 제거율을 얻었다. 유기성 폐기물 정화에 천연 수질정화제를 활용한 예는 조사되지 못했다.

생물계면활성제를 이용한 디이젤 오염토양세척기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on Remediation of Diesel-Contaminated Soil by Biosurfactant- Enhanced Soil Washing)

  • 본 연구에서는 토양에 오염된 디이젤 성분을 제거하기 위한 토양세척 기술 중에서 적절한 계면활성제를 사용하여 토양입자에 결합되어 있는 유해 유기물질의 표면장력을 약화시켜 제거하는 기술을 이용하기 위해 생분해성이 우수하고 2차 오염문제가 없는 생물계면활성제를 생산하였다. Peudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 9027를 이용하여 생산된 생물계면활성제인 rhamnolipid와 기존에 사용되고 있는 화학계면활성제와의 디이젤 세척효능을 비교분석하였다. 회분식, 연속식 세척실험 결과 디이젤 오염토양 초기농도 5,000ppm에서 계면활성제 1%, 세척시간 24시간 경과 후 본 연구에서 생산된 rhamnolipid의 세척효율이 모두 약 95%로 사용된 계면활성제 중에서 가장 우수한 세척효율을 보였다. 화학계면활성제들은 대부분 50∼80% 미만의 세척효율을 나타내었으며, HLB값이 8에서 15사이에서의 화학계면활성제의 경우 75%이상의 분해효율을 나타내었다. 그러나, HLB값이 8이하이거나 15이상에서는 60%이하의 낮은 디이젤 분해효율을 나타내었다.

후처리 조건에 따른 탄탈륨 분말의 특성 (Characteristics of Tantalum Powder by Conditions of After Treatment)

  • Pure tantalum powder has been produced by combining Na as a reducing agent, $K_2$TaF$_{7}$ as feed material, KCl and KF as a diluent in a stainless steel (SUS) bomb, using the method of metallothermic reduction. And we examined various types of after-treatment that affect the high purification of powder. A significant amount of impurities contained in recovered powder was removed in various conditions of acid washing. In particular, 20% (HCl + HNO$_3$) was effective in removing heavy metal impurities such as Fe, Cr and Ni, 8% H$_2$SO$_4$ + 8% $Al_2$(SO$_4$)$_3$ in removing fluorides such as K and F from non-reactive feed material, and 2% $H_2O$$_2$ + 1 % HF in removing oxides that formed during reaction. Significant amounts of oxygen and part of light metal impurities could be removed through deoxidation and heat treatment process. On the other hand, because it is difficult to remove completely heavy metal impurities such as Fe, Cr, and Ni through acid washing or heat treatment process if their contents are too high, it is considered desirable to inhibit these impurities from being mixed during the reduction process as much as possible.

옻나무 추출액에 의한 견직물, 나일론 직물의 염색성과 자외선 차단성 (Dyeing Properties and Ultraviolet-cut Ability of Silk and Nylon Fabrics Dyed with Rhus verniciflua Extracts)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the dyeing property and ultraviolet-cut ability on silk 100% and nylon 100% fabrics dyed with Rhus verniciflua extracts. This study was investigated K/S values, surface color, washing fastness, dry cleaning fastness and ultraviolet-cut ability of the silk and nylon fabrics dyed with Rhus verniciflua extracts under the various dyeing conditions. As mordanting were used Tin(II) Chloride dihydrate $(SnCl_2{\cdot}2H_2O)$, Copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate$(CuSO_5{\cdot}5H_2O)$, Iron(II)Chloride$(FeC_2{\cdot}4H_2O)$. pH was adjusted by sodium carbonate$(Na_2CO_3)$ and formic acid(HCOOH). The optimum dyeing temperature, dyeing time, and pH of the silk fabrics dyed with Rhus verniciflua extracts were $90^{\circ}C$, 100min, and in the nylon fabrics were $90^{\circ}C$, 45min. It were colored(munsell value) 6.4Y 7.5/4.1 in the silk fabrics and colored 4.3Y 6.6/5.9 in the nylon fabrics dyed with Rhus verniciflua extracts. Washing fastness and dry-cleaning fastness in the silk and nylon fabrics dyed with mordanting agent improved in $4{\sim}5$ grade. UV-A test showed that nylon fabrics a high rate of 92% with Rhus verniciflua extracts.

발효 포도부산물의 단백질 분해물 매염제를 활용한 염색 최적조건에 관한 연구 (Optimum Dyeing Condition of Cotton by Fermented Grape By-products with Degraded Protein Mordant)

  • Many of the natural dyes used for natural dyeing are difficult to maintain colorfastness due to their complex structure and specific properties. Therefore, there is a need for developing of color sustainable ability for use as an advanced coloring agent for fabrics, which would eco benign or not. In this study, the natural dye extracted from the waste of grape fruits was used to dye cotton fabric. Thus, the present study aims at extraction of color from grape seeds, skin, and stem through fermentation and then employing the same in dyeing and mordanting of cotton. Dyeing experiments were done under different conditions of fermentation and protein type mordants which were treated before and after dyeing. Experimental fabrics were used with cotton after scouring. Color value of dyed fabrics and color fastness of cotton dyed fabrics to washing and light were measured. The fastness of dyed experimental fabrics was increased by mordanting of protein fermentation and the color of dyed cotton was light red purple. The color of dyed fabric found with the optimum mordant treatment when treated with pre milk-mordant at $40^{\circ}C$ for 30min and 3% grape seed extract. On the whole, reddish tone very slightly increased with the milk pre-mordant. The color fastness of dyed cotton fabrics to light and washing was increased after fermentation.

설파제를 이용한 청색 항균 산성염료의 합성 및 나일론 소재에 대한 적용 (Synthesis of Blue Acid Dyes having Antimicrobial Property and its Application on Nylon Fiber)

  • Sulfadiazine and silver sulfadiazine are well-known bactericidal agent routinely used clinical settings. Antimicrobial acid dyes were synthesized by introducing sulfadiazine or silver sulfadiazine and applied on nylon fabric. The Chemical Structure of the Synthesized dyes was identified by HPLC-mass. The dyeability of synthesized acid dyes for nylon fabric was similar to commercial acid dyes. Resistance to washing, rubbing and lightfastness were good. Nylon fabrics dyed with synthesized acid dyes had good antimicrobial properties. Durable antimicrobial properties after 20 times washing have shown good result that reduction ratio of colonies, is 99.9 %. Mixed dyeing were carried out using commercial acid dyes(leveling type) and synthesized dyes. The mixed dyeings have also shown good antimicrobial properties.
