  • Recently, global warming has been accelerated due to air pollution and air pollutants are coming from the exhaust of the ICE vehicles, which are gradually increasing in number globally. That is why all the countries in the world are striving to reduce pollutant emissions of automobiles by strengthening regulations on air pollution. To comply with the regulations, the auto industry came up with hybrid vehicles, which have features of both ICE vehicles and electric vehicles. Hybrid vehicles show improvements in emissions, fuel efficiency, as well as functions as electric vehicles. This study aims to show possible troubles that occur at times of damages in high-voltage systems, and to suggest responsive measures.

  • Currently, advanced countries invest lots of efforts to develop improvement of electric power production and supply, confronting environmental problems and new energy development. They set up long term plan focusing on electric power transmission infrastructure construction technology, establishment of the customer care service network using electric technologies, improvement of economic productivity by innovative electric technology, prevention of global warming gas and clean and efficient energy use etc. Comparing to those countries, the level of technologies that we have are in behind and moreover, technological resources are limited. Therefore, Korea is required to reconsider efficient distribution of R&D investment by concentrating on limited R&D resources to important technologies which could be stepping stone to gain competitive advantage. It can be done through comparative analysis of electric technologies among advanced countries and analysis of electric technology development policy.

  • The electric heat pump requiring HCFCs as a refrigerant has been for most residential air-conditioners in Korea. They cause a surge up electric power demand during summer. Moreover, the use of HCFCs and HFCs causes a serious problem to the global environment such as global warming and ozone layer destruction. An absorption chiller and heater could solve such problems. It was built and tested for analyzing the performance of the absorption chiller/heater. Experiment was done with a 1.5RT household absorption chiller and heater. It was experimented that the cooling capacity, gas capacity, COP were researched by the temperature of cooling water. The change of the cooling water temperature have effect the temperature(or pressure) of the parts on absorption chiller The result of the change of the cooling water temperature have the effects of the absorption chillers. This data will help to operate the household absorption chiller and heater.

공작기계 열변위 보정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Compensation of the Thermal Errors for Machine Tool)

  • This paper presents an indirect compensation of thermal errors during machining, in which thermal error is modeled as a linear regression of temperatures measured at 4 specified positions. In this regression model, weighting coefficients of the measured temperatures were estimated by using the least square method. The grinding test with compensation, after 4-hour warming-up operation before the test, showed that the maximum machining error of the work pieces was reduced to 12${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ while it measured 28${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ without compensation. Furthermore the standard deviation of machining errors was also reduced from 8${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ to 2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$.

선저고정형 소나의 탐지성능 향상을 위한 빔 안정화 빔형성 기법 (Beam Stabilization Beamforming Technique for Hull-Mounted Sonar Performance Enhancement)

  • Hull-Mounted Sonar(HMS) has been the main equipment to detect and track underwater threats like torpedoes and enemy submarines. The HMS has short warming-up time and is employable independently with sea-state and weather condition. But these bad environmental condition and ship maneuvering make ship's roll and pitch. Ship's roll and pitch make unstability of sensor position, then cause degradation of the HMS performance. In this paper, we will show how the unstability influences the HMS performance, propose the 'Beam Stabilization Beamforming Technique' to overcome these phenomenon. And present the effectiveness of proposed technique by comparing with conventional beamforming result.

  • The Government declared 'Low-Carbon Green Growth' as the new national vision for future development to improve economic growth and quality of life through higher energy efficiency, less energy consumption, wider use of renewable energy, etc. Korea can no longer delay participating in international efforts against global warming by reducing carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions. Thus low-carbon green growth is not a matter of choice, and it becomes indispensible to sustaining the nation's economic development. The Government is determined to take the initiative in speeding up economic recovery by carrying out the large scale investment projects such as the Korean version of a 'Green New Deal. The 49 trillion-won projects include river improvement, eco-friendly transportation networks, advanced information infrastructure, water resources & dam construction, green cars & clean energy development, etc. which will create nearly one million new jobs over the next four years.

레이저 프린터 정착 시스템의 열전달 해석을 통한 승온 성능 및 정착성 예측 (Evaluation for Warming-up Performance and Fusing Quality through Heat Transfer Simulations of Laser Printer Fusing System)

  • Thermal performance of fusing system in laser printer is determined by FPOT(First print out time) required and toner fusing quality. FPOT is influenced by the thermal resistance of fusing system between heat source and nip region. Also FPOT is depended by the heat source power and toner fusing temperature. The fusing quality of toner is decided by the temperature, pressure and duration time in nip region. In this study, I have performed thermal analysis for the toner fusing system. Computational simulation has been used to understand the effect of heat source power and printing speed etc. on the temperature distribution of the fusing system. Also in order to predict fusing quality, numerical simulation of the process that paper is continuously supplied to the nip regions were performed. In comparison with the experimental results of the fusing quality vs transferred calory to the toner layer, I could evaluate various fusing condition parameters effected on the thermal performance.

초등학교학생의 안전의식 실태분석 연구 - 6학년 학생들을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Safety Consciousness 6th year in Elementary school)

  • This study is to find out how much elementary school members have their consciousness against safety in their school. Simple questionnaire 1206 sheets have been distributed to the members and additional interview with teachers to take care of them. Statistically, frequency, and correlation analysis have been made and chi-test has also been made for data reliability. The results of these have been summarized as running on corridor with 53.4% in school safety, warming up exercise 45.2% in leisure safety, evacuation form classroom with 2.4% in fire safety, crossing around just in fromt or rear of vehicle with 61.2% in transportation safety. It is thought that safety training should be provided to more for man than for girl pupils and also, safety consciousness should be improved than all the other area.

구강운동촉진기술: 2 부-개념적 위계 및 핵심 기법 (Oral-Motor Facilitation Technique (OMFT): Part II-Conceptual Hierarchy and Key Point Technique)

  • 서론 : 구강운동촉진기술(OMFT)은 감각-운동, 운동 조절, 운동 학습의 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 한 치료기법으로 주요 목표는 구강 운동 기능 증진이다. OMFT에서는 구강 운동 기능의 개념적 위계 및 발달 단계는 5단계이며, 1) 감각-운동 단계, 2) 운동요소 통합 단계, 3) 구조적 움직임 단계, 4) 기능적 구강 운동 단계, 5) 통합적 구강 운동 단계로 구분하였다. 본론 : OMFT는 총 3개의 기법, 10개 범주, 50개 하위 항목으로 구성되어 있다. 자세히 살펴보면, 1) 준비 기법: 감각 인식 및 적응, 치료 적응과 목의 움직임을 통한 준비 과정으로 2범주, 12하위 항목, 2) 핵심기법: 얼굴, 입술, 볼, 잇몸, 혀, 턱 등의 구강 구조물에 치료사의 직접적인 자극을 통한 구강 운동 기술 촉진과 씹기 기능 증진을 목적으로 7개 범주, 30개 하위 항목, 3) 응용기법: 음식 섭취와 삼킬 때 도움을 줄 수 있는 치료적 접근법 1개 범주, 8개 하위 항목으로 구성된다. 결론 : 본 논문은 OMFT의 실제적 적용을 위한 구강 관련 구조물의 기능 증진을 목표로 하는 준비 기법과 핵심 기법 및 섭식을 포함한 구강 기능의 종합적인 접근을 고려한 응용 기법에 대하여 소개하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

기후변화에 따른 무 밭의 온실가스 배출량 모의 (Simulation of the GHG Emissions Impact on Climate Change from Radish Field)

  • This study was conducted to predict greenhouse gas (GHG) emission from a radish field by future climate change scenario. A radish field located at Chuncheon-si Gangwon-do was selected, and A1B Special Report on Emission Scenario (SRES) of the IPCC (Intergovernmental panel on climate change) was applied to simulate the future potential climate change. Rainfall and temperature data were predicted to be increased by 8.4 % and 1.9 % in 2040s, 35.9 % and 27.0 % in 2060s, 19.2 % and 30.8 % in 2090s, respectively, compared to the climate data in 2010s. The $N_2O$, $CO_2$, and $CH_4$ emission were estimated to be increased by 0.4 up to 2.4 kg/ha/yr, by 500.5 up to 734.5 kg/ha/year, and by 29.4 up to 160.4 kg/ha/yr, which were resulted from the global warming potential (GWP) of 14.5~21.7 $CO_2$/ha/year caused by the amount changes of rainfall, temperature, manure amendment, and fertilizer applied in fields. One distinct feature of the study result was that the changes of $N_2O-N$, $CH_4-C$ and $CO_2-C$ with future potential climate change simulation were varied by soil texture. Therefore it was concluded that there is a need to apply appropriate amount of manure amendment needs and to consider soil texture as well.
