식이섬유가 풍부한 WWF를 우리 전통 음식인 설기떡에 첨가하여 수분함량, 색, 기계적 조직감 특성, 노화도, 관능적 특성 등 품질 특성을 규명하였으며, 품질과 영양적 가치를 고려한 적절한 첨가 수준을 찾고자 하였다. 시료들 간 유의적인 수분 함량의 차이는 없었으며, 색도 중 L(명도)값은 WWF의 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하는 값을 나타내었다. TPA 검사에서 hardness는 제조 직후 시료들 간 유의적인 차이가 없었으나, 저장 후에는 WWF의 함량이 많아질수록 그 값이 유의적으로 감소하여, WWF의 첨가가 설기떡의 노화 지연에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 저장 기간 중 WWF 첨가량이 증가할수록 springiness와 chewiness가 대조군에 비해 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 그 밖의 조직감 특성은 시료 간 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았다. Avrami 방정식의 시간상수(1/k)값은 WWF 함량이 증가할수록 증가하여 WWF의 노화지연 효과를 확인하였다. 관능적 품질특성은 맛과 향, 조직감에서 5% 대체군이 전반적으로 높게 평가되었으며 전반적인 기호도까지 고려하면 5% WWF 대체가 맛과 향 및 조직감에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

In these day, there have been shortage of construction workers and an increase of labor cost in our county. In order to overcome these problems, prefabricated and mechanized system of bar placing have been used in the construction fields. As a part of this tendency, welded wire fabric(WWF) reinforcement were studied several years ago. In this study, the required working hour. the labor power and the construction process of WWF reinforcement for the apartment building slabs are reported. From the result of field investigations, it is showed that the WWF reinforcement facilitates the field placing and the working time of WWF placing is saved, and then the labor cost of WWF reinforcement is less than that of the conventional bar reinforcement.

The objective of this experimental study was to understand the structural behavior of reinforced concrete continuous deep beams with welded deformed wire fabric(WWF) as shear reinforcement. The structural behavior of deep beams reinforced with WWF was compared with that of deep beams reinforced with orthogonal shear reinforcement which had standard anchorage corresponding to ACI 318-02. Test results showed that the load transferring capacity and the control of splitting cracks in the strut of WWF were almost as effective as those of orthogonal shear reinforcement with standard anchorage.

Recently human beings face serious water crisis, namely water management at the critical moment because of rapid increasing in population, subordinate part of a national budget, water pollution by domestic use and industrial use or waste, agricultural water use by intensive market farming, excessive development and extraction of water sources, and etc. We become to recognize that water and sanitation is the one of most important part which is threatening us with a drain on the water resources and death around the world and then are making opportunities of discussion for water policies and solutions of water problems through international network such as Global Water Partnership(GWP), World Water council(WWC). World Water Forum(WWF), as one of main water-related activities, aims at sharing knowledge and experience among various stakeholders for accomplishing a holistic water resources management by making common thoughts regarding the necessity of integration among different organizations related with water management, problems and issues. Also the unity of each local area for the holistic approach focuses on showing present local actions and actively supporting them, and suggesting new ideas. With Korea's participation in the 4th WWF this year, Korean government should have consistency in its establishment and implementation of sustainable water resources policies as a more active and future-oriented member of international water network. Finally it will be necessary that we will set up an organization and system which does publicity activities about results of various local actions of Korea around the world through next WWF in the future and contribute to solving global water problems.

Though there are several definitions for the Northeast Asia, in this paper Northeast Asia is defined as the geographical sphere including five countries. Those five countries are China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Japan, Mongolia and the Republic of Korea. For the announcement of regional preparatory process at the $4^{th}$ World Water Forum (4WWF), basic characteristics and main water-related issues were surveyed in the Northeast Asian countries. This paper is mainly composed of basic characteristics of each country, main water challenges, implemented strategies, successful experiences and local actions, etc. The five countries provided one's country report on the Government basis in 2004 to Korea Water Forum (KWF) as the coordinator of Northeast Asia for the 4WWF. KWF summarized the report of each country very briefly as follows.
