This study analyzed attitudes of primary school children about volunteer service as reported by 582 children, 267 parents and 236 teachers. It aimed to develop a program for the activation of primary school children's volunteer activities and internalization of the importance of continuous involvement in volunteer activities. Two 6th grade classes were sampled for participation in the experience-based preparatory education program. Questionnaires were distributed to subjects. Data were analyzed by SPSSWIN 10.0. Results showed that the experience-based preparatory education program elevated the level of children's motivation for volunteer activities and heightened their satisfaction with volunteer work. Recommendations were made further study.

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 재해구호 자원봉사자의 활동 특성과 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 지속적인 재해구호 자원봉사활동을 위한 효과적인 관리방안을 모색하는데 있다. 연구대상은 2002년 이후 최소 1회 이상 재해구호 자원봉사활동에 참여한 만 20세 이상의 자원봉사자이다. 2008년 5월 7일부터 5월 27일까지 전국재해구호협회와 자원봉사센터 등 총 4개의 기관에서 활동한 자원봉사자로부터 회수된 총 261부의 설문지를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과 재해구호 자원봉사활동의 지속성은 연령이 많을수록, 직업이 있는 사람일수록, 참여적극성이 높을수록, 배치 및 업무부여가 잘 될수록 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 기관에서는 시시각각 변하는 재해현장의 특성 상 배치 및 업무부여가 매우 중요하므로 개인의 특성과 욕구에 맞는 활동이 가능할 수 있도록 다양한 자원봉사 프로그램을 개발해야 하고 봉사자들이 수행한 업무를 긍정적으로 인식할 수 있도록 도와야 한다. 또한 자원봉사자 배치 시 연령, 직업과 같은 개인적 특성을 충분히 고려하여 배치하여야 하며, 봉사자들이 봉사활동에 적극적으로 몰입할 수 있도록 역할을 부여해 주어야 한다. 뿐만 아니라 직업을 가진 사람들이 지속적으로 자원봉사 활동에 참여할 수 있도록 재해구호 자원봉사활동에 대한 사회적 관심과 다양한 제도적인 지원이 필요하다.

The purposes of this study were to examine the pattern of housewives’social activity participation and investigate the characteristics of this pattern. The data of this study were collected from 340 housewives living in Seoul area. Statistical methods used were frequency, percentage, oneway ANOVA, DMR-test, and cluster analysis. The results of this study were as follows; 1) 52.6% of respondents participated in social education, only 20.8％ in volunteer work. And a large number of housewives(77.6% of respondents) wanted to get a job. 2) Housewives were classified into job-demand group, job-apathy group and social activity oriented group by the pattern of social activity participation. And these groups were differed by Age, income, degree of satisfaction as a housewife, time constraints, and money constraints.

본 연구의 목적은 K지역의 노인복지회관에서 자원봉사활동을 하고 있는 노인자원봉사자의 봉사경험을 내부자적 관점에서 이해하고 그 의미를 파악하는데 있다. 연구대상은 노인복지회관에서 자원봉사활동을 하고 있는 노인자원봉사자 15명과 2명의 사회복지사이고, 연구는 2009년 9월 2일부터 10월 21일까지 관찰과 심층면담을 통한 질적 연구방법을 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 질적 분석 프로그램인 Nvivo 2.0을 활용하였고, 분석된 자료는 Strauss와 Corbin의 근거이론에 따라 분석하였다. 연구결과, 노인의 자원봉사경험에 대한 의미는 크게 고령화 사회의 노인 정체성, 노인자원봉사를 통한 욕구 충족, 심신 건강을 돕는 다양한 여가활동, 노화에 대한 수용적 태도, 가족으로부터의 정서적 지지, 개인의 적성과 능력에 적합한 활동 찾기, 장애에 대한 인식 변화, 의미 있는 노년기를 보내기 위한 노력 등 8가지 요인으로 도출되었다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과와 논의를 통해서 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 노인자원봉사에 있어 고령화 사회의 노인 정체성, 노화에 대한 수용적 태도, 가족으로부터의 정서적 지지는 참여 유발 요소이다. 둘째, 노인자원봉사 활성화를 위해 개인의 적성과 능력에 적합한 활동이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 노인자원봉사 참여는 노인자원봉사를 통한 욕구충족, 심신건강을 돕는 여가활동, 장애에 대한 인식변화 등의 삶의 변화가 나타난다.

본 연구 목적은 노인의 평생교육활동참여가 자아통합감이 미치는 영향에 관해 살펴보고 삶의 만족도와 자원봉사활동이 매개하여 자아통합감에 미치는 영향을 검증하는데 있다. 조사대상자는 서울시, 경기도, 인천시 지역에 거주하는 60세 이상 일반노인대상으로 노인복지회관, 노인대학, 경로당 등의 평생교육기관에 참여하는 300명을 최종 분석 자료로 활용하였다. 분석방법으로는 AMOS 22.0의 구조방정식 모형을 응용하였고, 매개경로의 유의수준을 검증하기 위해서 구조방정식으로 Bootstrap 분석과 추가적으로 Sobel test 검증 방식을 사용하였다. 통계처리는 SPSS WIN 22.0, Amos 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 노인의 평생교육활동 참여가 자아통합감에 영향을 주었으며, 삶의 만족도와 자원봉사활동은 매개효과를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 평생교육활동 참여를 높일 수 있는 실천적인 방안을 논의하였다.

본 연구는 노인의 지속적 자원봉사활동 경험이 그들의 삶에 부여하는 의미와 본질은 어떤 것인가를 이해하기 위해 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 짧게는 6년, 길게는 23년 이상 지속적으로 봉사활동에 참여하고 있는 전라북도 거주 노인 5명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, '마음에서 우러나옴', '노후에 새로운 삶을 발견함', '아낌없이 주는 즐거움', '삶의 중심으로 들어온 봉사활동', '쉼 없는 봉사활동'이라는 5개의 구성요소를 도출하고, 본질적 주제는 '다시 찾은 활기 찬 삶의 기쁨'으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 노인의 지속적 자원봉사활동 경험의 본질은 '성공적 노후생활의 구성요소'와 대체로 일치한다. 따라서 자원봉사활동이 '개인적 차원의 선행'이라는 의미에서 '성공적 노후생활'의 실현을 위한 사회적 차원의 조건이라는 의미로 해석되어야 하는 인식론적 전환이 이루어져야 할 것이고, 이를 구현하기 위해 국가 및 공공차원의 지원 대책이 적극 마련되어야 할 것이다.

Purpose: This study has been conducted to develop and examine a health promotion empowerment program using a lay health leader for frail elderly. Methods: The research was organized in a nonequivalent control group pre-post test design. Data collection was performed from August 18 to October 8, 2015. The subjects included 76 frail elders aged over 65 registered in home visiting services (Experimental group=39, Control group=37). A health promotion empowerment program using a resident volunteer as a lay health leader was run for 8 weeks. Health factors (health promotion behavior, perceived health status and frailty) and empowerment factors (empowerment, social participation) were assessed. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: After the program, health promotion behavior, perceived health status and social participation increased in the experimental group more significantly than in the control group, but frailty decreased in the experimental group greater than in the control group. Conclusion: The health promotion empowerment program using a resident volunteer as a lay health leader was effective. Therefore, the health promotion empowerment program needs to be expanded to other frail elders. Also, a health leader should be recommended as a public health resource and systematically managed.

Volunteer services in communities work to provide human and material resources needed in social welfare centers and help the centers efficiently and effectively respond to diverse needs in society as well as provide quality services to clients. With this in mind, this study presents a few political suggestions on their utilization. First, potential volunteer development should be done in communities. Second, users of diverse volunteering services should be developed. Third, centers should pay attention to promotion of volunteers and the volunteers should be completely educated before services are rendered.

이 연구는 공공도서관 자원봉사자의 참여동기를 파악하고, 어떤 요인들이 자원봉사의 지속과 강도에 영향을 주는지를 109명의 대구지역 공공도서관 자원봉사자에 대한 설문조사를 바탕으로 하여 실증적으로 분석하였다. 공공도서관 자원봉사의 참여동기는 대부분 자기발전이나 성취감, 보람감과 지역사회의 문제해결 등으로 나타났으며, 선행연구에서 나타난 환경적 요인, 역할모델 요인, 보상요인, 인지요인 등이 자원봉사의 지속과 강도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이 연구에서 새롭게 투입된 공공도서관에 대한 충성도는 공공도서관 자원봉사자의 지속과 강도에 영향을 주는 중요한 요인이 될 수 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between a motivation to volunteer, personality, and interpersonal relationships in nursing students. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted using self-reported questionnaires to collect data from 185 nursing students in C city from February 1 to 28, 2018. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation coefficient with SPSS version 21.0. Results: The mean score were 3.18±0.54 of motivation to volunteer, 4.62±0.50 of personality, and 3.74±0.44 of interpersonal relationships. Motivation to volunteer was positively correlated with personality and interpersonal relationships. A significant positive correlation was also found between personality and interpersonal relationships. Conclusion: Based on study results, nursing students need an opportunity to understand the nature of human and respect others through participation in various volunteer activities, and to improve personality and interpersonal relationship. Nurse educators should focus on the positive benefits of volunteering for nursing students and the strategies for encougring volunteering should be incorporated into the curriculum.
