The development of information ＆ technology and the Internet provides various connecting routes between manufacturers with consumers. These expanded routes has made it Possible fer customers to directly transfer their voice to manufacturers, but n research on how the manufacturers respond the customers' needs has to be further conducted. In this paper, a method in which a best supplier would be chosen based on customers' needs from the perspective of a buyer tab been Presented. A method that makes it possible to evaluate and choose the best supplier in accordance with consumers' requirement by analyzing customers' needs and the evaluated data also hag been designed.

In this paper, we implemented a vocabulary-independent speech recognizer using the TMS320VC33 DSP. For this implementation, we had developed very small-sized recognition engine based on diphone sub-word unit, which is especially suited for embedded applications where the system resources are severely limited. The recognition accuracy of the developed recognizer with 1 mixture per state and 4 states per diphone is 94.5% when tested on frequently-used 2000 words set. The design of the hardware was focused on minimal use of parts, which results in reduced material cost. The finally developed hardware only includes a DSP, 512 Kword flash ROM and a voice codec. In porting the recognition engine to the DSP, we introduced several methods of using data and program memory efficiently and developed the versatile software protocol for host interface. Finally, we also made an evaluation board for testing the developed hardware recognition module.

최근 들어 케이블 방송망을 기반으로 한 디지털 방송, VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol), VOD(Video on Demand), 영상전화, 이동전화, 무선 랜 로밍 등의 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스의 출현과 향후 도입될 새로운 융합형 멀티미디어 서비스의 수용을 위해 케이블 망의 고도화에 대한 요구가 제기되었다. 특히 유럽을 중심으로 이러한 요구를 만족시키기 위해 DVB(Digital Video Broadcasting)-C2 규격의 개발이 진행되었다. DVB-C2 규격에서는 기존의 게이블 전송 규격인 DVB-C에 대해 30% 이상의 전송 효율을 높이고자 새로운 변조 방식과 채널 오류정정 부호 방식을 도입하였다. 이에 본 논문은 본 논문에서는 DVB-C2 규격에서 도입된 채널 오류정정 부호인 BCH(Bose, Chaudhuri, and Hocquenghem) 부호와 LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) 부호의 연접 방식에 대한 성능을 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 개발된 시뮬레이터의 소개와 이를 통한 시험결과를 제시한다.

Today, effective utilization of sophisticated networks greatly influences the activities of a business, making performance evaluations of computer network systems a necessity, We have developed a special computer network simulator capable of automatically generating a model based on data accumulated by a network analyzer to guide the user in selecting ideal parameters. The simulator was developed to provide user-friendly analysis for engineers involved in the actual network design. This paper gives an overview of the simulator and describes an example application of evaluating a network design that anticipates the future increase in traffic for a company introducing voice over frame relay (VoFR) into a wide area network (WAW).

In this paper we propose a QoS policy, which is based on both DSCP and SPQ, appropriate to TPS users on optical subscriber network. Then we experiment and evaluate QoS policy through the test bed which emulates real optical subscriber network. In order to perform effective and real experiment on test bed we make test traffic equivalent to 400 TPS users and give it to test bed. The experimental result shows that no packet loss in real time service traffic such as voice, IPTV occurs during more than 4 hours. We think that our proposed QoS policy is a proper method which guarantees the service quality of real time services on optical subscriber network.

본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 서비스 요소 중의 하나인 VoIP(Voice Over Internet Protocol)망에서의 음성 품질에 대한 평가를 위해 VoIP망에서 송화자 내용- 발생과정에 있어서 어느 정도 완전히 표현되었는가를 나타내는 송화품질과 음성의 전송계를 통해 수화자에게 전달되는 과정에서 왜곡이나 잡음 등의 방해요인에 의해 열화되는 정도를 나타내는 전송품질, 그리고 수화자가 청각에서 신호처리 과정을 거친 송화자의 내용을 어느 징도 이해할 수 있는지를 나타내는 수화품질에 대한 주관적 방법을 평가한 후 통화품질을 측정한 내용을 분석하여 그 원인과 개선책에 대한 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

The past decade has witnessed the abundant use of computer in testing language skills such as listening and reading. Compared with these language skills, we have experienced little use of computer in testing a speaking skill including pronunciation. This is largely due to limitations of the current computer technology. One of such limitations for testing pronunciation is to store and automatically evaluate what the learner utters. Due to this limitation, the computer simply stores what the learner utters and raters evaluate it afterward on a certain rating continuum. With the advent of voice recognition technology, however, the computer has been able to test pronunciation in a systematic way. This technology enables the computer to identify, visually show, and evaluate the learner's intonation pattern by means of autocorrection. The evaluation is expressed in terms of the degree in which the learner's intonation pattern overlaps with that of the native speaker of the target language. In particular, the degree is numerically displayed on the screen, and this numeral is considered as the score of the learner's utterance under our testing framework.

현대 사회에서 문화산업은 삶의 질을 누릴 수 있는 기회와 안식을 제공해 주는 분야라고 할 수 있을 정도로 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 특히 음악 분야는 대중성과 독창성이 함께 공존하여 감정을 표출하고 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 예술적 가치로 인정받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 음악 분야에 대한 일반인의 재능을 평가 할 수 있는 지표를 설계하기 위해 목소리가 발산하고 있는 에너지를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 동일한 음악에 대한 가수의 목소리와 일반인의 목소리에서 성도의 모양 변화에 대한 결과 파형의 패턴 분석을 실험하여 두 집단간의 비교, 분석을 행하고자 한다. 따라서 실험에 사용될 대중적 음악을 선정하고 동일 부분에 대한 가수와 일반인의 목소리를 수집하여 시간의 흐름에 따른 음성 에너지의 변화를 패턴 분석하고 이를 비교하여 음악적 재능을 평가할 수 있는 지표를 설계하고자 한다.

Diagnostic laryngeal electromyography (LEMG) relatively evaluates the electrophysiologic status of the larynx and provides critical clinical informations that no other tests can provide. However, LEMG is still not widely applied as a routine tool in clinical practice. One reason for this is the technical and interpretative difficulties of LEMG. But if LEMG is performed by a team approach consisting of an otolaryngologist and a neurologist, the technique and the interpretation of LEMG are not difficult to master. Another reason is that there is still not exact standard guideline for clinical application of LEMG. LEMG is an essential diagnostic test in evaluating patients with neuromuscular disorders, particulary vocal fold immobility, reduced mobility of vocal fold. The more we have used LEMG, the more we have found it useful in the evaluation and treatment of voice disorders, and the role of LEMG will be extended.

In this work we consider the problem of downlink resource allocation for proportional fairness of long term received rates of data users and quality of service for real time sessions in an OFDMA-based wireless system. The base station allocates available power and subchannels to individual users based on long term average received rates, quality of service (QoS) based rate constraints and channel conditions. We formulate and solve a joint bandwidth and power optimization problem, solving which provides a performance improvement with respect to existing resource allocation algorithms. We propose schemes for flat as well as frequency selective fading cases. Numerical evaluation results show that the proposed method provides better QoS to voice and video sessions while providing more and fair rates to data users in comparison with existing schemes.
