The purpose of is study deals with the physical therapy and the delivery system of public health center, as a center, in community based rehabilitation and delivery system. We hope that the system of physical therapy of public health center in community based rehabilitation spreads all over the country and contributes to the promotion of national health and social welfare. There are many public health center in the country because it can serve inhabitants with the medical benefits in the Erst line. public health center continuously provides poor inhabitants who cant pay medical expenses care of health. It has the public health center branches that take care of inhabitants who live a remote village and hiterland. Additionally, many people want to receive physical therapy. Therefore, the physical therapy of public health center becomes the central paint in community based rehabilitation so that we supply the inhabitants with superior rehabilitation service. We can approach them as a team that be constituted with physical therapist speech therapist, psychologist, nurse, social work. Also the role of physical therapist is divided into two parts, which are home visiting part that individually takes can of patients nod public health part that takes care of patient, family, home, community. We connect with both self-governing body and the government so that we may receive government subsidies. Also, we must prepare regular school education for community based rehabilitation

Objective : The purpose of this paper was to suggest a model of the home-visiting occupational therapy for the child with sensory integrative dysfunction through parent's satisfaction of volunteer activity to home-visiting occupational therapy. Method : A questionnaire survey were conducted to investigate the satisfaction on after of volunteer activity to home-visiting occupational therapy for the child with sensory integrative dysfunction. The 12 parents agreed on this service that students of department of occupational therapy visited at home 2 or 3times during the 16weeks. Results : Parents responded that satisfaction was seen orderly agreed(66%), very agreed (34%) in the convenient portion of service process, orderly agreed(50%), very agreed(42%), moderate agreed(8%) in the therapeutic technique and professionalism, very agreed(58%), agreed(42%) in the portion of general satisfaction. Correlation was not between satisfaction of convenient portion and related questions, but in the student attitude and the therapeutic technique, professionalism and related question was related to all question except a family treatment access method portion. Conclusions : It will be able to present the model of the home-visiting service in various occupational therapy field above the results and home-visiting occupational therapy service system must be introduced with the hygienic medical treatment delivery system through the deepening research.

The purpose of this study was to identify the necessity to provide a much better and more comfortable physiotherapy than institutional physiotherapy to a number of home-keeping handicapped persons and patients with a chronic-degenerative-denile disease. Home visiting physiotherapy can be defined as a behavior which a physiotherapist himself visit home and treat patients who cannot or hardly can visit hospital. To investigate factors which might influence the necessity for introduction of home visiting physiotherapy, this survey was carried out with the out-patients of four general hospital, one Chinese-medicine hospital, one welfare institution for handicapped persons, and also for all the physiotherapists registered in Pusan physiotherapist association using the structured questionare from March 1 to March 30.

The purpose of this study was to emphasize the strategy of the home visiting physical therapy for elderly patients who have joint and musculoskeletal problems, disabled person who staying in home and early discharged person who staying in home with replacement of artificial hip joint and central nerve system problems with CP, CVA, SCI etc. Home visiting physical therapist can provide evaluation and diagnosis, treatment with their special knowledge and techniques, treatment council and education for the patients and family member and refer the patients to other specialist. Home visiting physical therapy can expects that patients will have better treatment with emotionally, economically and for long term care patients.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of home visiting physical therapy on the motor function and ADL in the person with chronic stroke. In this study, 50 individuals, lining in Ui-wang city, were chosen by Ui-wang city public health center and the home visiting physical therapy was performed once a week for 8 weeks and scored the MAS, the FIM and the MBI before and after. The results of this study were as follows. (1) The items with the highest score among subscales of the MAS was 'Sitting', the FIM was 'Comprehension', and the MBI was 'Ambulation' and the lowest were the MAS was 'Hand activities', the FIM was 'Bathing', and the MBI was 'Bathing self' respectively. (2) After 8 weeks home visiting physical therapy, average total score of MAS, FIM and MBI were 23.32, 89.00, and 61.72 and MAS and MBI a significant increment(p<0.05) but not FIM. Results shown here indicates that the home visiting physical therapy can result in changed the motor function and the ADL in the person with chronic stroke. Also, the results of this study can provide a reference for the successful therapeutic program in the persons with chronic stroke.

Purpose: This study aimed to present the management strategies necessary to improve the operational efficiency of visiting nurse centers and evaluate their effectiveness. Methods: The subjects of this study were visiting nurse centers registered as long-term care centers. Based on value chain analysis, cost information analysis, and data envelope analysis, the study was carried out according to the Magerison's management consulting procedure, for six months. This procedure comprised eight sub-steps of approach and application. Results: The following management strategies were agreed upon: establishment of a cooperative network with other visiting care centers, creation of high satisfaction of external customers by providing practical training to care workers, and making rehabilitation and exercise services as the core nursing activities to be focused on. Conclusion: The management consulting process and analysis method applied in this study can referred to as a useful methodological framework for revitalizing visiting nursing centers in the future.

The purpose of study was to identify relationship between body image and depression of diabetes mellitus patients. The subjects of study were 120 diabetes mellitus patients who were B hospital in Pusan. Data were collected from 15th April to 20th August, 1998. The instrument used for this study were Osgood's body image scale and Zung's depression scale. The collected data were analyzed frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficients. The results were as follows: 1. The mean score of body image was $68.91{\pm}18.04$, and the mean score of depression was $56.18{\pm}11.58$. 2. The score of body image according to marital status(t=-2.434, p=.016), economic status (F=6.252, p=.001), reason of different regular hospital visiting(F=3.017, p=.014), treatment method of diabetes mellitus(F=3.048, p=.013) were significantly difference. ere significantly difference. 3. The score of depression according to sex(t=2.353, p=.020), occupational status(F=4.657, p=.002), marital status(t=-2.325, p=.022), economic status(F=5.536, p=.001), regular hospital visiting(t=2.081, p=.040), reason of different regular hospital visiting(F=3.352, p=.007), treatment method of diabetes mellitus(F=3.102, p=.012), paticipation of diabetes mellitus(t=3.726, p=.000), paticipation of diabetes mellitus visiting(F=4.819, p=.003) were significantly difference. 5. Body image and depression was a significant negative correlation(r=-.679. p=.000). Conclusion: From this study, a relationship between body image and depression inpatients with diabetes mellitus was idetified. Therefore, nursing intervention are needed to promote body image and depression in patients with diabetes mellitus.

PURPOSE: This study seeks to examine the awareness and need of home visiting physical therapy among physical therapist in Gwangju and Jeonnam province. METHODS: Survey was conducted during the continuing education on physical therapist held in Gwangju in 2015 with 297 participants. The survey questionnaire consisted of 12 questions on the characteristics of physical therapists, 8 questions regarding the awareness of home visiting physical therapy, and 7 questions on need. RESULTS: Significant differences were found regarding service period, according to categories of the inconvenience associated with commuting to/from hospitals, long-term treatment for patients, high quality treatment with intensive care, treatment at a time of patients' choosing. The category of hospital fees reduced due to early discharge from the hospital also saw significant differences, depending on respondents' marital status, dependent family, and service period. Providing treatment without causing discomfort to patients in front of others also saw significant differences according to physical therapist career period. Home visiting physical therapy is easier for family members to take care of patients also saw significant differences according to education and physical therapist career period. CONCLUSION: Survey indicates that physical therapist province feel the need for home visiting physical therapy in many respects. However, since as many as half of the surveyed physical therapists have only heard of home visiting physical therapy or are have no awareness of the this form of treatment, it appears that there is a need to raise awareness of home visiting physical therapy among physical therapist and introduce appropriate policies.

The purpose of this survey was to give data and information about type and needs of Home Physical Therapy, Visiting Physical Therapy and School Physical Therapy for physical and nurse. The subjects were 154(99 physical therapists and 55 nurses) who were working at geriatric rehabilitation hospitals and children hospitals. The period of questionary collection was from the 15 of August to the 15th of September 2011. And data was analysis from 99 articles such as journals related to physical therapy, and searched with keyword 'home and visiting physical therapy' by web site and Korea National Assembly Library from 1991 to 2011. The data was analysis with percentage, mean, standard deviation and ANOVA by SPSS PC 12.0. The results were as follows; 1. The definition of 'Home Physical Therapy' has been community based on physical therapy service for the patient who had diagnosis by medical doctor, has been based on medical law. The definition of 'Visiting Physical Therapy' has been community based on physical therapy service at home for the patient who had diagnosis by medical doctor, for the national basic living security, and senior citizen over 65 years who lives alone, has been based on law for community health and law of long term health insurance. The definition of 'School Physical Therapy' has been school based on physical therapy service at school after class for the disabled children who are studying at school, has been based on special education law article 28. 2. As for the knowledge of the Home and Visiting and School Physical Therapy, both groups PT and nurse were 'I do not know'125(81.3%) of the difference the concept of 3 definitions, so it means to need education and information about the different concept of three physical therapy. As for the needs of home and visiting physical therapy, both groups of PT and Nurse were 'needs' 151(98.1%). Physical therapist showed of 'Needs' on visiting physical therapy 35(35.4%), home physical therapy 32(32.3%), and schole physical therapy 32(32.3%). Nurse showed of 'Needs' on home physical therapy 23(41.8%). visiting physical therapy 19(34.5%), school physical therapy 13(23.6%). Therefore it is necessary to have home and visiting physical therapy as for the elderly and disabled person. 3. As for the qualification of Home and Visiting physical therapist, both PT and nurse groups showed as follows; take post graduation education program for home and visiting therapy after became PT : home physical therapist 108(70.1%), visiting physical therapist 106(68.8%). So it means education center or university can be developed post graduation program for home and visiting physical therapist. 4. As for the 'Needs' of school physical therapy, both groups of PT and nurse showed as follows; 'Needs' 142(92.2%), 'Needs superviser education program' 148(96.1%), in PT group showed 'I will participate of education program' 92(92.9%). 5. As for the present states of research papers or report of home, visiting, and school physical therapy was as follows; the 103 papers for 8 fields about' the needs of home and visiting physical therapy' from 1991 to 2011, the 13 papers for 2 fields about school physical therapy from 2001 to 2011, so total papers were 114 articles.

PURPOSE: This study aims to provide basic materials to re-establish terms and to build the institutional framework for the home and visiting physical therapy. METHODS: For such purpose of the study conducted the research that targeted the physical therapists, who were working at the rehabilitation hospital located in Gyeonggi-do as for the survey questionnaires as to the need and awareness of development of the adequate insurance fee of home physical therapy and visiting physical therapy. RESULTS: The survey result shows the awareness is low on the term separation in referring the home physical therapy and the visiting physical therapy. On the question regarding the performance obligation in the current system of the home and the visiting physical therapies, the answers for the recognition are shown to be 58% and 88.1% while no significant differences according to ages and working periods are found in all questions (p>.05). In the meanwhile, on the question regarding necessities of the home and the visiting physical therapies, answers agreeing the necessity is shown as 96.3%. And, on the question regarding the expected effect, the score shows to be very high with 40.5 points out of 50 points and significant differences according to the age and the working period (p<.05). CONCLUSION: It directly reflects the result, as the age and the working period are longer, the necessity shows to be higher.
