고령자의 스마트폰 활용행동에 영향을 미치는 요인: 통합기술수용모델(UTAUT)을 중심으로 (Factors Affecting the Usage of Elderly People's Smartphones: Based on UTAUT Model)

  • Purpose With the increase of the elderly population, the growth of its information system related market is increasing. However, empirical studies for the usage of elderly people's smartphones are still limited. This study aims to investigate the factors that affect the seniors' smartphone usage behaviors. Design/Methodology/Approach First, a preliminary study was conducted with targeting seniors who have visited Gwangju Senior Technology Center(GSTC) in order to understand the factors that affect the intention of utilizing smartphones. Next, based on the preliminary study results and literature reviews including the UTAUT model, performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence were considered for the major factors affecting the usage of elderly people's smartphones. Also, the moderate effects of personal innovativeness and usage function were discussed. A questionnaire survey of 181 seniors visiting GSTC was analyzed to empirically test the research model. Findings By the empirical tests, the performance expectancy and the effort expectancy of the seniors had significant impacts on their smartphone usage behavior. While the moderating effect of personal innovativeness was not significant, the moderating effect of the usage function was significant in the relationship between performance expectancy and the smartphone usage behavior. The results of this study are expected to provide guidelines to excavate the technical development and the niche market targeting the elderly people.

뷰티브랜드 확장상황에서 희석효과 -전형성에 기초한 브랜드 확장 시 모브랜드의 지식이 전이 되었는가?- (The Effect of Dilution on Beauty Brand Extension Situation -Was Parent Brand's Knowledge Transferred to Brand Extension by Typicality?-)

  • The potential for brand dilution occurs when new brands merge with an identical image of a parent brand. Despite the significant attention regarding the effects of dilution on brand extension, there is limited research on brand dilution in the beauty industry. This study analyzes the effect of the typicality of extensional type on brand attitude or purchase intention for potential dilution toward beauty brand extension. In addition, we examine the moderating effect of knowledge transfer when customers evaluate the typicality of the extensional type for potential dilution toward beauty brand extensions. For the experiment, 4 description type factorial designs were performed. A total of 219 students participated in the experiment who had experience of visiting a beauty salon. The results are as follows. First, there are significant independent and interaction effects between the typicality and extensional type that reveals differential influences on the attitude or purchase intentions toward extended beauty brands. Second, the knowledge of the parent brand is transferred to extended brands. Third, there is a significant moderating effect of knowledge transfer, as customers evaluate the typicality of the extensional type for the potential dilution toward beauty brand extension. This study provides some theoretical and practical perspectives with some limitations.

인터넷 쇼핑몰이 갖는 품질요인이 사용자 신뢰와 수용에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Exploring the Influence of the Internet Shopping Mall's Quality Factors on User Trust and Acceptance)

  • As the electronic commerce has grown dramatically, visiting the Internet shopping malls is accepted as one of our daily life. Despite many studies about user acceptance of the Internet shopping malls, it still remains unanswered how the Internet shopping mall's three quality factors such as system qualify, Information qualify, and service quality affect user trust, and eventually user acceptance of the mall. To investigate this issue, we propose a research model in which six external factors such as three qualify factors as well as self-efficacy, subjective norm, and trust have a significant impact on user's attitude and intention to use the mall. After garnering 244 valid questionnaires from users, we analyze them with structural equation modeling. Experiment results show that the Internet shopping mall's three quality factors such as system quality, information qualify, and service quality significantly Influence user trust for the mall, which in turn impacts user's perceived usefulness, attitude toward using the mall. Another external factors such as self-efficacy and subjective norm also influence user's perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness respectively, affecting user's attitude altogether. Implications and further research directions are presented.

한방 의료 서비스 품질이 환자 만족 및 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on Relationship between Health Services Quality and Customer's Satisfaction in Oriental Medicine Hospitals)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to understand Oriental medical health services and analyze the relationships between the perceived Oriental medical health services and the effect, influencing patient satisfaction as. well as intentions of re-visiting such hospitals. Methods : SPSS 10.0, a statistical processing method, was used to process the study data and frequency and ANOVA analysis were used to analyze the differences. Also, Pearson correlation coefficient was performed to analyze the relationships between work satisfaction and health services quality, as well as patient satisfaction and intentions to re-visit such hospitals. Results : Most patients were satisfied with the service, but it was shown that improvement of facilities and medical equipment was needed. The survey showed higher satisfaction with longer experience of doctors and nurses. Staff recognition of health services quality seemed lower than patient satisfaction, so efforts to improve the health services and relationships between health services quality and patient satisfaction are necessary. Conclusion : Higher quality and satisfaction with Oriental medical health services are going to improve total re-use intention to a significant degree.

가격 촉진이 점포혼잡도 및 촉진가치를 통하여 점포이용의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence on Store Visiting Intention through Store Confusion and Perceived Promotion Value)

  • 본 연구는 가격 촉진으로 인해 증가하는 점포 혼잡도와 촉진 가치가 점포 이용의도에 미치는 영향에 관해 분석하였다. 그 결과 가격 촉진은 점포 혼잡도와 소비자가 인지하는 촉진 가치에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 가격 촉진으로 인해 증가한 점포 혼잡도는 점포 이미지와 서비스의 질을 떨어뜨림으로써 간접적으로 점포 이용의도에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 소비자의 증가된 촉진 가치는 점포 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

상업적 웹사이트 재방문 영향요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influencing Factors of Revisit Behavior in the Commercial Website)

  • In the past days, most of studies about website and Online behavior have been mainly focused on the adoption of website and internet shopping or internet shopping mall. But the model of website revisit behavior has not been made and the leading theory of website usage behavior has not been existed. Lately, many researches on commercial website revisiting behavior are emphasizing the role of intention, attitude, satisfaction in online visiting behavior such as Jarvenpaa et al. [1997, 1999, 2000], Wang et al. [2001], Moon & Kim [2001], Heijden[2003], Sultan et al. [2002], Yoon [2000], Shankar et al. [2002a, 2002b], Mcknight et al. [2002], Chen & Dhillon [2003] and so on. The purpose of this paper is two-folds. The one is to find the affecting factors on the website users' revisit behavior in commercial website and the other is to search more influencing ones on the determinant factors, to analyze research model using in LISREL. The EFA and reliability test was executed by for finding the validity and reliability, covariance matrix analysis was executed for the purpose of testing the 13 hypotheses. The major finding of this paper would be summarized as followed : (1) The roles of satisfaction and attitude to the revisit behavior are very important and both variables have determining effects in commercial website revisit behavior. (2) The determining factors in positively affecting website users' satisfaction are attitude, perceived usefulness, design. (3) The determining factors in positively affecting website users' attitude are perceived usefulness, design, perceived ease of use, and negatively affecting factor was perceived risk in website.

구매 단계별 그리고 제품별 소비자의 합리적 구매선택행동 분석 (Analysis of Consumers' Rational Purchase Behavior by the Purchase Stage and Product)

  • This research aims to analyze rational decision behavior in different stages of purchasing for consumers buying household appliance goods and deals with differences in socio-demographic features and relevant variables among completely rational, intermediatedly rational, and irrational groups as well as variables differentiating those groups. First, one third of purchasers for Kimchi refrigerators was the rational consumer while a half of purchasers for side-by-side refrigerators and washing machines was. Second, there was no significant differences in satisfactions levels after purchase between rational and irrational groups among purchasers of side-by-side refrigerators but between completely and intermediately rational groups in the case of Kimchi refrigerators. Rational groups of consumers for Tromm washing machines rely on various places for purchase and also show the high level of intention for repurchase. Third, in studies of variables differentiating rationality in purchase behavioral patterns of consumers, rational choices turn out to prevail (1) among purchasers of married, college graduated, employers, and high income in the case of side-by-side refrigerators, (2) among buyers of male, old-aged, college graduated, non-employers, low, income, and hurrying to purchase in the case of Kimchi refrigerators, and (3) among buyers of old-aged, high income, not hurrying to purchase, and visiting numerous stores in the case of Tromm washing machines.

경북지역 테마마을 방문객의 식사관련 서비스 품질 기대와 만족에 관한 연구 (Visitors' Expectation and Satisfaction with Foodservice Qualities in the Rural Theme Villages of Gyeongsangbuk-do)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the degree of visitors' expectation and satisfaction with foodservice qualities in the rural theme villages. The subjects were 210 participants in the rural theme villages of Gyeongsangbuk-do. The results of this study consisted of three major parts: sociodemographic characteristics, visitors' visiting behavior, the analysis of visitors' expectation and satisfaction. 98.8% of the subjects were accompanied by children and most respondents had the intention of revisiting. The foodservice qualities with the highest expectation scores were 'food freshness' (3.76 point) and those with the highest satisfaction scores were 'friendly employee' (4.14 point). According to the overall attributes, visitors' satisfaction was higher than expectation. 'Food taste' and 'Local food' were the relatively most important attributes for overall satisfaction in the rural theme village.

  • The study aims to predict the behavior of tourists in Hadong County, which is registered as KIAHS. Based on the theory of planning behavior, we intend to verify the theory of planned behaviour, which adds descriptive parameters of the perceived value and prior knowledge of an agricultural heritage. In detail, first, the perceived value and prior knowledge of tourists about an agricultural heritage understand the influence of tourists' Attitude. Second, we could see the role of the behavioral factors in the causal relationship of the planned behavioral theory. We have identified the planned behavioral theory that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptual behavior controls affect the intention of the revisit. Hadong should remember that by sending and providing various information about Hadong Green Tea and World Agricultural Heritage sites, it is possible to elicit changes in visitor attitudes and revisit visits.

방한 일본관광객의 한국음식에 대한 인식, 만족도 및 재방문의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Recognition, Satisfaction, and Revisit Intentions of Japanese Tourists based on Traditional Korean Foods)

  • This study investigated the impacts from the recognition and satisfaction of Korean foods on the revisit intentions of japanese tourists to Korea. The subjects of this study consisted of 365 Japanese tourists visiting Korea. The findings are summarized as follows: (1) the recognition of Korean food included 'the quality of food material is fresh and good'(3.99 pints), 'Korean food is nutritious and healthful food'(3.89 points), and 'Koran food consisted of grains and vegetables, and the cooking methods were developed specially'(3.88 points) in the order. (2) They were highly satisfied with the 'nutrition of the food,' 'taste of the food,' and 'quantity of the food,' in terms of the Korean food quality however, they were not satisfied with 'Japanese marks on ingredients,' 'sanitary,' 'smell,' and 'freshness.' (3) The most influential recognition variables to affect revisit intentions to Korea was 'health knowledge' followed by 'unique,' 'preference,' 'experience,' and 'interest.' (4) The most influential satisfaction variable to affect revisit intentions to Korea was 'food and menu' followed by 'translation and understanding,' and 'flavor and appearance.'
