농촌지도의 두 가지 관점의 비교;계량적 방법과 비(非)계량적 방법의 비교 (A Comparison between Two Viewpoints of Agricultural Extension;A comparison between economic and non-economic method)

  • There are two viewpoints in agricultural extension. One is economics(econometrics) the is non-econometric social sciences. In Korea economic means mainstream economics. Most mainstream economists have tried to solve the social and economic problems of Korea using their basic principles and econometrics. This mainstream economics have been supported by the Korean government and many people due to its convenience, effectiveness, and clearness. However, Agriculture and agricultural extension should be studied through multidisciplinary approaches after considering their specific social structures. Especially, Korean agriculture and agricultural extension have many aspects that can not be easily explained by main stream economics. In this study, the researchers will; 1)identify the origin, growth, and limitation of mainstream economics, i.e. econometrics 2)identify the paradigm and the view of social sciences and out-of-mainstream economics to make up for the limitation of main stream economics in explain the agriculture and agricultural extension in Korea, and 3)suggest to use multidisciplinary approaches to solve the agriculture and agricultural extension in Korea.

미국 동기관계연구의 최근동향 - 기본인식과 접근방법- (Current States of Sibling Researches in America)

  • The purpose of this review is to establish a groundwork for building a more comprehensive conceptual framework within which various aspects of sibling relations and factor related to sibling behaviors con be explained and integrated. Descriptions of the trends and shifts in sibling studies are made in terms of their themes, variables, basic perceptions and general approaches, and analyzes of current state of sibling researches are made with relation to the conceptual aspects of the studies, namely, their standpoints on the issues of sibling variations, the sources of variations, and basic units of analysis, their reliance or emphasis on different methods, and their interests in the mediation processes. It is recognized that research variables have been successively differentiated and used in diversified manners and family ecology and systems theory viewpoints have been incorporated into the understanding of sibling relations. A triad in its full meaning, rather than a dyad or a partial trial, is proposed as a unit of analysis in order for the researchers to be able to examine and describe the true interactional aspects of family relations involving sibling relations. The concepts of coexistence and interaction are proposed as key concepts os that the inconsistencies in findings, differing viewpoints, contradicting conceptions , and contrasting approaches can be interpreted and integrated into a unified system of theories on siblings. The coexistence of similarities and differences in reality. the inevitability of interaction between individual variables and environmental variables and between within-family environmental factors and our-of-family environmental factors, and the need for the joint use of intrafamilial and extrafamilial approach are acknowledged. Attention is also drawn to the mechanism characteristics and the directionality of the mediating processes of mediating variables between a variable and its effects.

DEVS-based Modeling Methodology for Cybersecurity Simulations from a Security Perspective

  • Security administrators of companies and organizations need to come up with proper countermeasures against cyber-attacks considering infrastructures and security policies in their possession. In order to develop and verify such countermeasures, the administrators should be able to reenact both cyber-attacks and defenses. Simulations can be useful for the reenactment by overcoming its limitations including high risk and cost. If the administrators are able to design various scenarios of cyber-attacks and to develop simulation models from their viewpoints, they can simulate desired situations and observe the results more easily. It is challenging to simulate cyber-security issues, because there is lack of theoretical basis for modeling a wide range of the security field as well as pre-defined basic components used to model cyber-attacks. In this paper, we propose a modeling method for cyber-security simulations by developing a basic component and a composite model, called Abstracted Cyber-Security Unit Model (ACSUM) and Abstracted Cyber-security SIMulation model (ACSIM), respectively. The proposed models are based on DEVS(Discrete Event systems Specification) formalism, a modeling theory for discrete event simulations. We develop attack scenarios by sequencing attack behaviors using ACSUMs and then model ACSIMs by combining and abstracting the ACSUMs from a security perspective. The concepts of ACSUM and ACSIM enable the security administrators to simulate numerous cyber-security issues from their viewpoints. As a case study, we model a worm scenario using ACSUM and simulate three types of simulation models based on ACSIM from a different security perspective.

디지털 시대의 아동 미디어 관련 연구동향 분석 (An Analysis of the Research Trends on Children's Media in the Digital Era)

  • The aims of this study were three-fold; to analyze the trends of research on children's media, to anticipate any transitions in the direction of the research and finally to provide a guidance for future directions in the research. For this purpose, 55 research papers were chosen. The tool used for this analysis was that developed by Meyrowitz(1998; 1999), which classifies(1998, 1999) three main viewpoints towards media. Based on these three viewpoints, this study found that the most common category is 'media as a vessel.' Furthermore, it was verified that some studies in 'media as a vessel' have a tendency to be mixed with the notion of 'media as a language.' Subsequently, all the research papers in the category of 'media as a language' were subcategorized into 6 digital literacy competencies, in the manner proposed by Hobbs(2010). Consequently, the studies in the category of 'creation' were revealed to be the most common, and it was further confirmed that the research included in the categories of 'reflection' and 'social action' both begins to partially appear. Based on these results, this study speculates on a number of educational points supporting the development of media education in the digital era.

초등 교사의 과학 교육 과정의 구성에 대한 인식과 과학의 본성에 대한 관점과의 상관 (The Relation of Elementary School Teachers' Point of Views about the Organization of Science Curriculum and the Nature of Science)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between elementary school teachers' points of view about the organization of the science curriculum and their views on the nature of science (NOS). We surveyed 132 elementary school teachers' view points about these two kinds of views, analyzed the data by their variables, and compared the two viewpoints with their personal details. The elementary school teachers thought the science curriculum should be emphasized through the process more than contents. They thought the contents of the science curriculum should be integrated rather than separated. As teachers' career progressed, they focused on the contents more than the process. On the other hands, because elementary school teachers showed the NOS views as relativism, deductivism, decontextualism, content, and instrumentalism, when we plotted sub-viewpoints of NOS in process-content dimension, we thought it would be similar distributions with point of views on the organization of science curriculum. However, there was no meaningful relation. This showed that teachers' views on the organization of the curriculum and the NOS are totally different. These findings suggest further research is needed to find how factors influence elementary school teachers' views on the organization of the science curriculum and what inclinations can occur in science classes with their different views.

교과서 분석을 통한 과학의 본성에 대한 여러 관점의 비교 -전통적 접근, 과학의 특성, 가족 유사성 관점을 중심으로- (A Comparative Study on the Various Perspectives on the Nature of Science through Textbook Analysis Centering on the Consensus View, Features of Science, and Family Resemblance Approach)

  • This study intends to delineate the characteristics of various perspectives on the nature of science (NOS) through the textbook analysis. Thus, centering on a science textbook called Science Laboratory Experiments, this study analyzes the elements of the NOS from three different perspectives: the consensus view, features of science (FOS), and family resemblance approach (FRA). While the consensus view highlights the similar elements of the NOS across the topics, the FOS is concerned about empirical ways for doing science. The FRA rather focuses on socio-cultural aspects of science activities. While the consensus view is useful to reify the features of the NOS, the FRA helps to understand science from various viewpoints. Regarding the philosophical account for three perspectives, all of them are ambiguous to some extent. The consensus view holds contradictory dispositions e.g., relativism vs. (post-)positivism, and critical realism and instrumentalism. The FOS supports empirical tradition but cannot effectively cope with the anomalous situation. The FRA is useful to show up the ways of science in both microscopic (personal) and macroscopic (social) viewpoints. However, the broader concept about science may mislead understanding of the NOS. Consequently, this study provides some implication for improving the framework of the NOS and teaching the NOS in the classroom.

중년기 주부들의 나이인식에 따른 외모변화의 내면에 관한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on Middle Adulthood Housewives' Appearance Changing with Age)

  • This qualitative case study examines how mid-life housewives perceive age, react to aging, and experience the changing of their appearance that comes with age. The participants of this study were eight housewives four full-time housewives and four working housewives in middle adulthood. This study was conducted through in-depth interviews that were based on an unstructured questionnaire, and the data was collected from January 2010 to October 2010. Findings are as follows: during mid-life, housewives continue to exert efforts toward self-development, and toward self-actualization that can unleash the potential of their "multi-self". The housewives of the Entering Middle Adulthood self-actualization period believe that the material self as manifested in appearance is the most important component of the multi-self. Indeed, both groups of housewives thought a great deal about the criterion of appearance for their age and were concerned about others' viewpoints, social stereotypes, the appearance "norm," and other characteristics related to appearance. The full-time housewives made efforts to improve their social selves, and the working housewives tried to enhance their spiritual selves. The viewpoints of husbands are often internalized into housewives' internal points of view; therefore the relationships of housewives with their husbands were crucial both to the confidence the women felt in their appearance, and to their satisfaction in life.

ADL 모델로부터 VRML 구현 모델을 위한 변환기 개발 (The Development of a Translater for the VRML Implementation Model from the ADL Model)

  • 소프트웨어 아키텍처는 텍스트 기반 아키텍처 기술 언어(ADL)를 사용하면서 기술하게 된다. ADL의 중요한 목적은 다른 이해관계자 사이에서 대체 디자인을 통신하고, 재사용할 수 있는 구조를 찾아내고, 그리고 디자인 결정을 기록하는 것이다. 본 논문은 구조적인 관점의 3차원 표현을 위한 도구를 만듦으로써 표현 문제에 대한 해법을 제공한다. 도구는 첫째 소프트웨어 아키텍처와 아키텍처에서 관점을 기술하는 아키텍처 기술 언어(VTADL)로 구성되었고, 각 관점을 분리된 가상현실 세계로 번역하는 VTADL-to-VRML 변환기로 구성되었다. 본 논문에서는 ADL을 요구된 관점에 의거하여 효과적인 VRML 표현으로 변환하기 위한 알고리즘을 고안했다. VRML 표현은 그 전체적인 디자인에 이해를 강화하고 다양한 이해관계자 사이에 통신을 개선할 것이다.

SHVC 및 MVC 통합 기반의 스케일러블 다시점 비디오 부호화 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Scalable Multi-view Video Coding Based on Integration of SHVC and MVC)

  • 다시점 이미지의 뷰포인트 간에 높은 유사도가 존재함을 바탕으로 MV-HEVC는 뷰포인트 내에서 전통적인 시간적 방향 예측 뿐만 아니라 뷰포인트 간에 예측을 수행함으로써 높은 부호화 효율을 얻는다. 본 논문에서는 HEVC를 기본 계층으로 사용하는 스케일러블다시점 비디오 부호화를 구현하기 위해 SHVC와 MVC를 통합 구현함을 제안한다. 실험결과에 의해 BD-PSNR 개선이 1.5dB에 이르고 동시에 BD-Bitrate를 50~60% 가량 줄일 수 있음을 확인하였다.

우울증의 병태생리에 관한 동서의학적 비교 (A comparative study on physiopathology of depression by Korean medicine and conventional medicine)

  • Objective: This study aims to summarize recent findings of depression and compare the physiopathology of depression by conventional medicine and Korean medicine. Methods: A literature search of PubMed and Journal of Oriental Neuropsychiatry was conducted. This study analyzes the physiopathology of depression. Results: Despite difference of the viewpoints between conventional medicine and Korean medicine, etiology and symptoms of depression are similar. Recent findings of depression partly accord with Korean medicine theory. Conclusion: Physiopathology of depression has yet to be completely understood and current treatments remain ineffective in a large subset of patients. As the efficacy of Korean medicine against depression is demonstrating recently, understanding the viewpoints of Korean medicine will provide new perspectives and hints for further research and therapeutic development.
