school. This study was carried out by literature review. Values of woodworking in extrinsic viewpoint were justified as well-balanced development between left brain and right brain, effective improvement of creative problem solving skill, formation of affirmative attitude toward woodworking, and obtaining method to use tools and equipment effectively. Values of woodworking in intrinsic viewpoint were justified as students' instinct liking of woodworking, psychological stability, and implanting self-confidence in students. In addition to these, woodworking has more educational values. Such values should be justified in the following studies.

In comparative genome analyses, synteny blocks play important roles for finding ortholog genes, reconstructing phylogenetic tree and predicting genome rearrangement events. In this paper, we propose a novel method to search biologically plausible synteny blocks not only from the viewpoint of finding highly preserved regions but also from the viewpoint of analyzing genome rearrangements. We have applied the method to our experiments on four fungal organisms, and succeeded to obtain some biologically interesting results.

Supply Chain Management is drawing attention of business management all over the world. A number of SCM cases from world-class enterprises have been reported. However, not many detailed SCM cases from Korean enterprises have been reported in the literature. In this paper, we present SCM cases of Korea to illustrate what specific activities are conducted and how, mostly from practical viewpoint instead of academic viewpoint; and relate the cases with the SCM framework, so as to provide better view and insights for implementing effective SCM.

Korean and Japanese have accustomed themselves to eating rice (Oriza Sativa Japonica) with soup. In the formation of soup culture, Japanese has classified soups on the viewpoint of visual sensation. On the other hand, Korean has classified soups on the viewpoint of time. The new 'Japanese Tasi' culture has slowly infiltrated into the traditional 'Korean Tang' culture for a century. Therefore, this paper discusses the cultural conflicts laying stress on the consumer consciousness.

This paper introduces the result of a 3D climbing navigation system development which is based on PDA. In the visual viewpoint, this system is better than conventional systems that were developed 2D based. In addition, the proposed system was developed so that it could become compatible with these systems. In this paper, we will illustrate as the functional viewpoint than technical description about the system development.

The purpose of this study is to estimate teachers'conceptions of mathematics through the conception on compositions of mathematical knowledge, the conception on structure of mathematical knowledge, the conception on status of mathematical knowledge, the conception on mathematical activity, and the conception of mathematics learning. This study reached the following conclusions: Most of teachers has more internal viewpoint than external viewpoint on the compositions, structures and status of mathematical knowledge, mathematical activity and mathematics learning.

This paper proposes a object tracking method based on the local moments, or moment based on the local moments, or moment of some restricted area, in which the idea of the viewpoint and the visual filed corresponding to the local area of an image is introduced. Using local moment with the optimally controlled viewpoint and visual field, the target position and its breadth are estimated robustly. By two experiments, the validity of the proposed method is shown.

A hybrid warranty policy for a repairable item is considered. Assuming that minimal repairs ar e performed for failures during warranty period, present worth of warranty cost is derived from a supplier's viewpoint. An optimal preventive periodic replacement policy for the case is also derived from a user's viewpoint Numerical examples are presented in order to explain the results.
