  • National Information and Communication Services of Public Administration and Security organized by the 'A 'group (Line service network), 'B' group (IP service network), 'C' Group (Voice over Internet protocol(VoIP) service, IP application services) are provided by constructing the infrastructure. National Information and Communications Services 'C' group, providers are providing VoIP services. In this paper, national information and communications service 'C' group, providers of domestic calls, international calls, including calls to move we will study the basic telephone service. And text messaging, video telephony, IP-Centrex services, etc. we will study the seven value-added services. In addition, national information and communication service providers on the status of the project based on the analysis of national information and communication Internet telephone network using Internet telephony is the type of analysis. In this study, national information and communications services industry, will serve as the basis for the development.

  • The Ubiquitous/Unified Communication Platform supports various multimedia communication tools such as VoIP, Email, Unified Messaging, Instant Messaging, Web Conferencing, Audio/Video Communication etc. In this paper we introduced the main functions and architecture of the Unified Communication Platform and we researched on the function analysis and design of the VoIP System that supports PC-to-PBX/PSTN Phone and PBX/PSTN Phone-to-PC communications through the connectivity and interoperation with PSTN.

  • Traffic unbalance between uplink and downlink is one of the most notable characteristics in the next generation cellular mobile systems which provide multimedia services such as voice and video telephony, high-speed internet access, and mobile computing, etc. The CDMA/TDD system with unbalanced slot allocation between two links is a good solution for the traffic unbalance in this paper, we formulate the time slot and channel allocation problem for the CDMA/TDD systems in general multicell environments, which is to maximize the system capacity under the given traffic unbalance, and solve that problem by simulated annealing technique. Computational experiments show that the proposed scheme yields a good performance.

  • 본 논문에서는 다자간 영상통화의 오디오 게인콘트롤을 위한 저연산 음성분류방식을 제안한다. 제안된 음성분류방식은 입력되는 음성신호를 음성신호의 특징에 따라서 묵음/무성음/유성음으로 분류한다. 입력된 음성신호의 에너지를 이용해서 음성구간과 비음성구간을 판별한다. 음성구간으로 판별된 구간에 대해서 ZCR(Zeor Crossing Rate)를 이용하여 유성음과 무성음으로 분류한다. 제안된 방식의 성능을 측정을 위해 음성분류 정확도와 연산시간을 측정하여 성능을 측정하였다.

  • In this paper we designed a high speed wireless multiple access protocol, which is suitable for future multimedia wireless LAN systems which support high quality video teleconferencing, telephony and graphic databases. In the proposed protocol, Slotted-ALOHA protocol is used for transmitting random data packets and the packet reservation multiple access(PRMA) protocol for transmitting periodic data packets. The use of minislot is introduced for the reservation scheme. In order to measure the performance characteristic of the proposed protocol, a simulator is designed using an object oriented programming language, C++, and an exhaustive simulation study is carried out. From the simulation results, it is observed that the proposed protocol and the existing PRMA protocol have almost the same delay characteristic when network traffic is low. However, the proposed protocol is superior to the PRMA protocol when traffic becomes higher. The proposed protocol and the results can be utilized for the design of the wireless access systems and future broadband wireless LANs.

  • 영상 통화 시스템을 설치한 장소에서 대두되는 문제점은 문서 유출 등의 보안문제와 사생활 침해가 발생하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 영상 통화를 하면서 문서유출 및 보안사항에 위배되거나 사생활이 침해되는 영상이 발견된 즉시 영상 통화를 중단시켜 보안유지 및 사생활 보호를 위한 다빈치 기반 실시간 영상 통화 시스템을 개발하고자한다. 구현 된 시스템은 실시간 처리가 가능하고 영상통화 시 문서 유출 등 보안문제가 발생하는 영상을 검출하는 알고리즘을 개발하여 다빈치보드에 포팅하고 여러 가지 보안사항에 대한 실험에 적용하였다.

  • 인터넷 화상전화는 저렴한 가격으로 통신이 가능하게 하는 기술로 최근에 주목을 받고 있다. 인터넷은 제한적인 대역폭과 가변적인 손실을 나타내므로, 인터넷을 통해 전송되는 화상은 오류 전파에 의해 품질이 크게 떨어지게 된다. 일반적으로 화상은 움직임 예측, 보상기법을 이용하여 압축되기 때문에 한 프레임에서 발생한 오류가 그 프레임을 참조하는 프레임으로 전파되는 데 이를 오류 전파라고 한다. 기존의 오류 전파를 방지하는 기법에는 Error Tracking, NEWPRED, PFEC등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 화상 전화에서 화상의 움직임이 적은 특성을 고려하여 Motion Vector의 중복전송을 이용한 PRMS기법을 제안한다. PFEC에 비해 부호화 효율을 높이면서 MB단위로 참조 프레임을 선택하여 오류 전파를 효과적으로 방지하는 기법이다. 실험을 통하여 PRMS기법이 기존치 PFEC나 NEWPRED에 비해 성능이 우수함을 보인다.

  • We discuss simulation results concerning the performance of the TCP protocol when running over high-speed HFC networks. Hybrid Fiber Coaxial are likely to provide fast and cost effective sup-port to a variety of applications including Video on demand, interactive computer games, and internet-type applications such as Webbrowsing, ftp, and telephony. Since most of these applications, use TCP as the transport later protocol, the key to their success largely depends on the effectiveness of the TCP protocol. In all simulation scenarios the TCP traffic is maxed with some background traffic whose level is taken as a variable parameter. Both the background traffic and TCP traffic are either unshaped, or shaped according to the GCRA algorithm. The effect of the background traffic on the TCP protocol performance is discussed varying the buffering capacity with nodes as well as the peak bit rate that each TCP connection is allowed to use.

  • This paper presents motion estimation method using region segmentation information Motion estimation which is very difficult to be implemented only by software because of intensive computation cost, is implemented by special-purpose hardware in real-time applications In this paper, we propose region based motion estimation algorithm which can reduce the computation cost by using region segmentation information and setting the variable search window compared with FSMA algorithm Secondly, another proposed algorithm is to segment semantic region like face for selective coding and transfer of semantic region using segmented region information This work alms to improving the subjective quality of skin color region or face region m the picture that has slow motion and IS mainly composed of one or two speakers of video conference and video telephony applications.
