This paper suggest a fast multimedia delivery system. by using accelerated video. The system can delivery multimedia data faster and more effectively than previous delivery system. By using accelerated video, users can get information by least cost, and internet delivery server can send maximum information on limited bandwidth.
This paper proposes a video content delivery scheme for vehicles. Today, we spend a lot of time commuting to work in vehicles such as trains and cars. In addition, the number of users who enjoy video content such as YouTube and Netflix in order to appease the boredom in the vehicle is increasing rapidly. Video content requires a larger amount of data usage than text-based content. Hence, the user's mobile communication data usage increases rapidly along with the cost. The proposed video content delivery scheme downloads a lot of video content in advance when the vehicle is in a free Wi-Fi area. In this way, it is possible to play video content in a vehicle at a low cost. It is expected that the proposed scheme can be applied to the Internet of Things(IoT) for moving objects.
Emerging high-speed next-generation Internet is enabling immersive media communication systems and applications to realize geographically distributed team collaborations while overcoming the limit of distance and time. Focusing on the reliable real-time delivery of 3D (i.e., stereo) video among corresponding parties, in this paper, key schemes for stereo video processing/display and reliable transport of stereo video packets over high-speed Internet are designed and implemented. The performance of proposed stereo video delivery system is evaluated both by emulating various network situations for quantitative comparison and by transmitting over real-world Internet up to the speed of around 100 Mbps. The results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed system in supporting the desired immersive communication.
This paper introduces a novel repetitive delivery scheme for the left and right views in service-compatible (SC) 3D video that provides full backward compatibility to a legacy DTV system while retaining HD 3D visual quality without additional bandwidth or a codec over the legacy broadcasting channel. The proposed SC delivery scheme transmits individual view sequences of a 3D video in interlaced form, that is, a left-view sequence of a 3DTV program to be used repeatedly is transmitted first and stored locally, and the right-view sequence of the 3D program is then transmitted. This paper specifically describes the signaling, synchronization, and storage format methods used to validate the proposed SC delivery scheme. The experiment results show that the proposed SC delivery scheme can be effectively applied for an SC 3DTV service without degrading the DTV quality using only legacy DTV platforms.
Recently, 3D stereoscopic video and HTTP adaptive streaming technologies have received a lot of attention from relevant industrial fields and markets in terms of multimedia contents and delivery services, respectively. It is expected that promising and marketable service models can be created by means of these noticeable two technologies. However, current standard specifications do not provide a method for organized connection between those two technologies. 3D stereoscopic video services are weighted in broadcasting and storage services that are only available under environments in which the network bandwidth is guaranteed or free. Also, HTTP adaptive streaming technologies only provide plain 3D service methods that are dependent on particular Codec. Therefore, this paper proposes 3D video delivery format for HTTP adaptive streaming service which enables stable and seamless display for various stereoscopic video sequences over internet networks. The proposed technology is designed on the basis of Stereoscopic Video Application Format which is a service-oriented standard specification for storing stereoscopic video sequences. Also, this delivery format is directly applicable over DASH that is the representative standard technology for HTTP adaptive streaming services. The delivery format proposed in this paper has been submitted to MPEG and it has been accepted as a working draft, thus it expected to pave the way for practical industrialization in relevant fields from now on.
This paper proposes a novel video delivery scheme that reduces the bandwidth consumption cost from a video server to terminals in Long-Term Evolution networks. This proposed scheme combines optimized hybrid multicast with a segment-based caching strategy for use in environments where the maximum number of multicast channels is limited. The optimized hybrid multicast, allocation of multicast channels, and cache allocation are determined on the basis of a video's request rate, the related video's length, and the variable cost per unit size of a segment belonging to the related video. Performance evaluation results show that the proposed scheme reduces a video's delivery costs. This work is applicable to on-demand TV services that feature asynchronous video content requests.

The use of mobile devices is increasing in multimedia applications. The multimedia contents are delivered to mobile users over heterogeneous networks. Due to fluctuation in bandwidth and user mobility, the service providers are facing difficulties in providing Quality of Service (QoS) guaranteed delivery for multimedia applications. Multimedia applications depend on QoS parameters such as delay, bandwidth, and jitter to offer better user experience. The existing schemes use the single source and multisource delivery but are unable to balance between stream quality and network congestion for mobile users. We proposed a Quality Oriented Multimedia Content Delivery Scheme (QOMCDS) for the mobile cloud to deliver better quality multimedia contents for the mobile user. The multimedia contents are delivered to the mobile device based on the device's parameters and network environment. The objective video quality assessment models like Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structural Similarity (SSIM), and Video Quality Measurement (VQM) are used to measure the quality of the video. The client side Quality of Experience metric such as Startup delay, Rebuffering events, and Bitrate switch count was used for evaluation. The proposed scheme is evaluated using dash.js and is compared to existing schemes. The results show significant improvement over existing multimedia content delivery schemes.

The purpose of this study was to find out the differences of preferences in e-Learning contents delivery types according to information searching retrieval ability in agricultural high school students. Contents delivery types are limited three kinds which are HTML type, video type, and text type and need to know about differences. The following summarizes the results of this study. On the preference of e-Learning contents delivery type on information searching retrieval ability had differences. High level group of information searching retrieval ability showed that they mostly preferred text contents delivery type. However, low level group of information searching retrieval ability showed that they preferred video contents delivery type. The results support our belief that there could be the differences in preferences in e-Learning delivery types with students' information searching retrieval abilities. We suggest that delivery types of e-Learning should be based on the students not on designers and developers.
The widespread use of the Internet and the maturing of digital video technology have led to an increase in various streaming media application. However, new classes of hosts such as mobile devices are gaining popularity, while the transmission became more heterogeneous. Due to the characteristics of mobile networks such as low speed, high error bit rate, etc., the applications over the wireless channel have different needs and limitations from desktop computers. An intermediary between two communicating endpoints to hide the heterogeneous network links is thought as one of the best approaches. In this paper, we adopted the concept of inter-packet gap and the sequence number between continuously received packets as the error discriminator, and designed an adaptive packet sizing mechanism to improve the network efficiency under varying channel conditions. Based on the proposed mechanism, the packetization scheme with error protection is proposed to scalable encoded video delivery. Finally, simulation results reveal that our proposed mechanism can react to the varying BER conditions with better network efficiency and gain the obvious improvement to video quality for stored MPEG-4 FGS video delivery.
Internet became the most popular network in spite of its weakness in realtime multimedia service. Many experts believe that the Internet has the potential to become the main multimedia distribution network of the near future. Currently, it does not provide any (BoS guarantees and, even when it does, guaranteed quality delivery of video may turn out to be too expensive. Unavoidable packet losses and delay jitter caused by congestion in a best effort delivery environment require use of intelligent transport techniques for effective video delivery. According to market needs of better quality of service (QoS) fur realtime multimedia services over Internet, they have been standardizing RSVP, IntServ, and DiffServ This paper combines the benefits of QoS mechanisms such as RSVP/IntServ with scalable video encoding. We propose that more important bit stream is given more priority such that limited network resources are guaranteed far the stream. Various prioritizing approaches are proposed and compared to normal approach by using Network Simulator. The calculated QoS parameters such as packet loss rate are used to calculate degree of degradation in video quality. In this Paper, proposed methods can be implemented adaptively to Von protocol, such as H.323, SIP.
