The aiming ability is a key to improve the accuracy performance of the gun pointing system in the ground military vehicle. This paper describes the new detection method of chatter vibration using disturbance acceleration in the pointing structure. In order to analysis the vibration trends of the pointing system occurred while the vehicle driving, acceleration data obtained from vehicle was processed by using data processing algorithm with moving average and Hilbert transform. The specific mode constants of acceleration were obtained from various disturbances. Vehicle velocity, road condition and property of pointing structure were considered as factors which make the change of vibration trend in vehicle dynamics. Finally, back propagation neural networks have been applied to the pattern recognition of the classification of vibration signal in various driving conditions. Results of signal processing were compared with other condition result and analysed.
The benefits and risks of whole body vibration (WBV) based acceleration training on the human body have been documented for many years. WBV training has been shown to increase muscular strength, explosive power, bone strength, performance, mobility, cardiovascular function, circulation and anabolic hormone level and so on. The purpose of this review is correct understanding and application of WBV training. Without proper understanding, rather, to apply WBV to the human body can be fatal harm, and therefore know that what is vibration and has advantages and disadvantages. If there is anything positive side there is bound to the negative aspects. In this regard, WBV training can have a positive impact on the already confirmed by several studies and also, there have been scientifically proven. But still we are part of a scientific approach that is acceptable even to keep in mind that you will always coexist. Once again, the effect of WBV with a physical stimulus that risk and should be remembered. In addition, given the momentum and how to exercise and well-being well aware that vibration exercise as a way to think of how not to be familiar with.

We developed a 'multi-point vibration acceleration method' for accurately predicting the cavitation intensity in pumps. Pressure wave generated by cavitation bubble collapse propagates and causes pump vibration. We measured vibration accelerations at several points on a casing, suction and discharge pipes of centrifugal and mixed-flow pumps. The measured vibration accelerations scattered because the pressure wave damped differently between the bubble collapse location and each sensor. In a conventional method, experimental constants are proposed without evaluating pressure propagation paths, then, the scattered vibration accelerations cause the inaccurate cavitation intensity. In our method, we formulated damping rate, transmittance of the pressure wave, and energy conversion from the pressure wave to the vibration along assumed pressure propagation paths. In the formulation, we theoretically defined a 'pressure propagation coefficient,' which is a correlation coefficient between the vibration acceleration and the bubble collapse pressure. With the pressure propagation coefficient, we can predict the cavitation intensity without experimental constants as proposed in a conventional method. The prediction accuracy of cavitation intensity is improved based on a statistical analysis of the multi-point vibration accelerations. The predicted cavitation intensity was verified with the plastic deformation rate of an aluminum sheet in the cavitation erosion area of the impeller blade. The cavitation intensities were proportional to the measured plastic deformation rates for three kinds of pumps. This suggests that our method is effective for estimating the cavitation intensity in pumps. We can make a cavitation intensity map by conducting this method and varying the flow rate and the net positive suction head (NPSH). The map is useful for avoiding the operating conditions having high risk of cavitation erosion.

According to the delivery condition, the breakage of a product occurs when it is delivered to the customers. Therefore product's makers evaluate the durability under the delivery process by accelerated life testing. In order to conduct this accelerated life testing accurately, it is very important to identify the acceleration-factor exactly between on-road and accelerated life test condition. In this paper, the acceleration-factor is identified by applying linear damage summation law, rain-flow cycle counting and Dirlik theory under the conditions of the random vibration. And approximated FEM model of the connecting-pipe to the compressor is developed for fatigue analysis. This model is finally verified by comparing the experiment results to the numerical analysis results.

This paper mainly propose the new passive vibration control device, named BRV(the bridge reduced vibration), for reducing excessive traffic-induced vibration of bridges and for measuring performance of BRV numerical example was simulated. The purpose of BRV is mainly on reducing vertical acceleration and displacement of bridge. In BRV we can control the stiffness and damping coefficient to accept the performance we want. The result of simulation showed that the vertical acceleration and displacement was effectively diminished. It would be concluded that BRV can be used to improve the serviceability of bridge and fatigue life etc.
Experiments under the stationary and harvesting condition, were performed in order to investigate the vibration characteristics of a head-feeding combine. 6 degrees of freedom components of acceleration at the location of the center of the gravity, and 3 degrees of freedom components of acceleration at the location of the operator seat were measured independently. The vibration characteristics of the combine were estimated with the power spectral density of the time series data of accelerations. From this research, the following results were obtained. 1. Vibration of a head-feeding combine under the stationary condition(engine, thresher and cutter are driven without harvesting) is mainly influenced by the engine. Further, 1/3, 1/2 (sub-harmonic) frequency components of the engine are observed besides engine driving frequency component(45Hz). 2. Vibration of a head-feeding combine under the harvesting condition is influenced by the engine, threshing unit and driving unit. Namely, some kinds of vibration frequency components in harvesting are observed compared with stationary condition. Further, sub-harmonic frequency components of the engine are observed besides engine driving frequency component as same as stationary condition. From these results, it may be concluded that vibration of a head-feeding combine is characteristics of semi-periodic and nonlinear vibration.

The aim of this study is to develop a vertical vibration compensator that attenuates the vertical vibration of ships. The vibration compensator was designed according to the principle of generating vertical excitation forces by rotating two eccentric bodies of the same mass in opposite directions at the same rotational speed. In addition, the structural stability was analyzed using the finite element method. The maximum stress in the drive shaft was 95.6 MPa, which was approximately 35% of the allowable stress of the shaft material (SM45C, 270 MPa). The acceleration signals of the vibrator compensator body and the testbed were determined to evaluate the efficiency of the vibration compensator and the designed excitation forces. Subsequently, the excitation forces were estimated based on the relationship between force and acceleration. The estimated results were very close to the theoretical values with an error of less than 3%.

The forced vibration characteristics for two impulse forces with time lag was discussed in the vehicle dull progress model. Detailed numerical analyses of the time domain were performed systematically. By the two exciting impulse forces, the responses of displacement, the velocity, and the acceleration were investigated in detail for the vehicle's vibration. Notably, the forced vibration responses in the time domain can be used to identify and monitor several vehicle vibration models. In order to define the responses of displacement, the velocity, and the acceleration, we applied a numerical technique (i.e., the Runge-Kutta-Gill method[1,2]). These variables were subsequently used to analyze the vehicle's vibration according to the time lapse and while it passed over a bump stock; moreover, the characteristics of the variables were analyzed in detail according to their force conditions. Finally, the intrinsic characteristics of the forced vibration were discussed in the context of the automobile model. Overall, our results indicate that the tested method can be successfully applied under different damped conditions.

This paper presents the acceleration optimization of a high-speed LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) transfer system for the minimization of vibration. To reduce vibration is one of key requirements for the dynamic control of a high-speed LCD transfer system. In this paper, the concept of finite jerk (the first derivative of acceleration) has been introduced for realizing input acceleration. The profile of finite jerk has been optimized using a genetic algorithm so that vibration effect can be minimized. In order to incorporate a genetic algorithm, the dynamic model of a LCD transfer system which is realized by using the $ADAMS^{(R){$ software has been linked to the simulation system constructed by the $MATLAB^{(R)}$. The simulation results illustrated that the duration of finite jerk can be optimized so as to minimize the magnitude of vibration. It has been also shown that the acceleration optimization with finite jerk can make the high-speed motion of a LCD transfer system result in low vibration, compared with the conventional motion control with trapezoidal velocity profile.

This paper investigates the prediction of the dynamic strain response using acceleration response only. Two methods are proposed for the strain prediction; one is based on beam theory and the other is calculated by the frequency response function between acceleration and strain. First, it is estimated the dynamics of the simple notched beam, including the non-linearity, through the uni-axial vibration testing. Then, the dynamic strain response is predicted under two different methods using acceleration response. The validation of proposed methods is conducted by the comparison between measured strain and predicted values. The comparison reveals that the proposed method based on the FRF between acceleration and strain is more reliable one than that stemmed from beam theory and the maximum relative error is less than 8 %.
