하이브리드 자동차용 계전기 모듈의 소음저감에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Noise Reduction Method of HEV-relay Module)

  • In this paper, the noise of HEV(hybrid electric vehicle)-relay module during the turn-on and turnoff switching is experimentally analyzed and an effective method is proposed to reduce the impact noise. First, enclosure methods of 100A relay part with urethane and silicon are tested to find out a better material to isolate the noise. This result shows that the urethane is a better for the noise isolation of relay, so the relays enclosed by urethane are installed in the relay module. Second, the noise of HEV-relay module is analyzed experimentally to identify the noise generation mechanism. From this result, it is found that the vibration transmitted to battery pack through bolt generates the structural borne noise with the frequency band of 200~2000 Hz, which is more serious when the switch is turned off. Finally, the direction of switching and the joint structure are modified in order to isolate the vibration transmitted to battery back. Both methods are very effective to reduce the switching noise.

ATM 게이트 모듈의 응답속도 개선 (Reduction of the Response Time of an ATM Gate Module)

  • ATM is a machine that receives and pays money. The gate module of ATM separates forgeries from bills and changes the transfer direction of bills. In this paper, the dynamic behavior of the gate was analyzed numerically and experimentally. The moment of inertia of the gate lever, the driving force of the solenoid and the spring force were measured, respectively. And the displacements of the plunger, the Input voltage and current were measured experimentally. The measured dynamic behaviors were simulated numerically using Maxwell program which can accommodate the electromagnetic problem of the solenoid. Through the analysis, the design factors were found to make a fast and reliable new ATM gate module.

무힌지 복합재 헬리콥터 로터 시스템의 진동 저감을 위한 점탄성 감쇠처리 해석 및 공탄성 연구 (Viscoelastic Damping Treatment Analysis and Aeroelasticity for Vibration Reductions of a Hingeless Composite Helicopter Rotor System)

  • In this research, vibration reduction and aeroelastic stability of a composite hingeless rotor hub flexure with viscoelastic constrained layer damping treatment(CLDT) were investigated. The composite flexures with viscoelastic CLDT were applied to hingeless rotor system to improve the in-plane stability of the lead-lag motion causing resonance. The modal test was performed and dynamic properties(natural frequency and loss factor) were acquired. Also, complex eigenvalue analysis(SOLlO7) in the NASTRAN structural analysis module was performed and compared with results of the modal test. To insure aeroelastic stability, damping ratio analyses of the hingeless rotor system with CLDT were accomplished at hovering condition due to collective pitch angle changes. Satisfactory results of increasing structural damping and stability were obtained.

  • 압전션트는 구조물의 진동을 저감할 수 있는 전기적인 형태의 댐퍼이다. 구조물의 고유진동수에서 발생한 진동은 구조물에 부착된 압전재료를 통해 전기에너지로 변환된다. 전기에너지는 인덕터와 저항으로 구성된 압전션트를 이용하여 열에너지로 소산시켜 진동을 저감할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 외팔보의 진동을 저감하기 위하여 필요한 최적 인덕턴스에 대한 수식을 검토하고 유한요소해석과 실험을 이용하여 알루미늄 외팔보의 진동을 저감하였다. 유한요소해석에서는 모드형상과 스트레인에너지 분포를 계산하여 부착위치를 검토하고, 인덕턴스와 저항의 회로값을 조절하여 외팔보의 진동저감량을 계산하였다. 또한, 실험에서는 가변인덕터 모듈을 사용하여 외팔보의 특정주파수에서 발생하는 진동을 저감하였다. 결국, 유한요소해석과 실험의 결과를 토대로 압전션트가 외팔보의 진동을 효과적으로 저감할 수 있음을 검증하였다.

  • Recently the trend of automobile industry is that IQS evaluation index against a sensitivity quality is increasing. To reduce rattle noise due to speaker sound at low frequencies, it is required the advanced investigation of a package tray panel and a door module panel. This paper optimized the design parameters of package tray panel according to the theoretical background about robust design and suggested the design guideline for resonance avoidance and the reduction of vibrational sensitivity considering the excitation frequency of woofer speaker. In addition, it is suggested the design guideline of a door module panel through the sensitivity analysis in case of the speaker excitation. Finally, the design factor analysis of the quality deviation of a mother-car will make it possible to guarantee the stable characteristics of vehicle vibration in the early stage of vehicle development. These improvements can lead to shortening the time needed to develop better vehicles.

  • Recently, the importance of vibration reduction at the local structure such as tank, deck which attached machinery and compass deck, has continuously increased by owner and shipbuilder. Because crews are afflicted with them and severe vibration problems affect on the crack of structure. This study conducted optimum design to get a stiffener size of local structure to reducing the vibration level and dec leasing the weight of structure in ship. Random tabu search method (R-Tabu) has fast converging time and can search variables size domains for nonlinear problems. This paper used Nastran external call type independence optimization method which makes using a solver module from Nastran.

  • A PDP(Plasma Display Panel) module consists of a discharge panel, a SMPS for power supply, driving boards for panel control, and a logic board. Driving boards supply high voltage pulses to induce glow dischargein the PDP panel. The electrical pulses excite the circuit elements and subsequentlyacoustic noises. The main sources of the noise in the circuit are the transformer of SMPS and the power MOSFET of driving boards, and the heat sinks often amplify the noise level. (omitted)

  • The brake judder comes from non-uniformities in the tire/wheel assembly caused by mechanical effects such as a brake torque variation (BTV). A disc thickness variation (DTV) related with the kinematic behavior of the disc was investigated a main source of BTV. In this study, a dynamic model with brake corner assembly of full vehicle using MSC.ADAMS was correlated by experiment of judder phenomenon. Judder was generated and correlated systematically by judder experiment in chassis and brake dynamometer from variation in the thickness of the disc. Also it has been found a judder transfer path and variation of the braking pressure. Through analysis of transfer function and movement of subsystem caused by BTV generation, design parameters have been found. Based on the results obtained from parameter study of suspension module, the effective design process and developed model with brake corner assembly was suggested for vibration reduction of steering wheel caused by the judder phenomenon.

Vibration test and verification of Multi-Anode-Photo-Multiplier-Tube's survivability with X-Ray Coded Mask Gamma Ray Burst Alert Trigger mechanical system in space launch environment

  • UFFO Burst Alert & Trigger telescope (UBAT) is one of major instruments of UFFO-Pathfinder. The UBAT aims at 10 arcmin resolution localization of Gamma Ray Bursts with X-ray coded mask technique. It has $400mm{\times}400mm$ coded mask aperture, hopper, shielding and detector module with effective area of $191cm^2$. The detector module consists of an assembly of 36 64-ch MAPMTs and $25mm{\times}25mm$ pixellated YSO crystal array, and associated analog and digital electronics of about 2500 channels. We performed a vibration test using a dummy MAPMT with the detector module structure to measure the indused stress applied onto the MAPMT. We designed a sub-structure on the detector module to avoid the resonance that would otherwise deforms the detector module structure. A finite element analysis confirms the reduction of the load acceleration down to 12g. The experimental results are to be reported. Consequently, it proves that the MAPMT arrays of the flight UBAT detector module structure would survive in the space launch environment.
