Nominalization is one of the grammatical metaphors, and it is the representation of verbal meaning through noun equivalent phrases. In mathematical word problems, texts using nominalization have both the advantage of clarifying the object to be noted in the mathematization stage, and the disadvantage of complicating sentence structure, making it difficult to understand the sentences and hindering the experience of the full steps in mathematical modelling. The purpose of this study is to analyze word problems in the textbooks from the perspective of nominalization, a linguistic element, and to derive implications in relation to students' difficulties during solving the word problems. To this end, the types of nominalization of 341 word problems from the content domain of 'Numbers and Operations' of elementary math textbooks according to the 2015 revised national curriculum were analyzed in four aspects: grade-band group, main class and unit assessment, specialized class, and mathematical expression required word problems. Based on the analysis results, didactical implications related to the linguistic expression of the mathematical word problems were derived.

Background : Subtle status epilepticus (SE) is an end-stage of convulsive SE. This phenomenon might be a clinical expression of neuronal exhaustion caused by sustained electrical discharges. As subtle SE may show diverse clinical features, early detection depends on clinical suspicion. Case : A 68-year-old woman was presented with repetitive involuntary movement of right limbs after two generalized tonic-clonic seizures. She experienced right middle cerebral artery infarction 4 months ago, and after the event, left side hemiplegia sustained. These seizures were first-ever after the cerebral infarction. Orientation and verbal responses were fairly preserved but general cognitive function was minimally slowed. During the video-EEG monitoring, repetitive sharp waves were noted in the right hemisphere and these sharp waves occasionally spread to the contralateral side. Her right side involuntary movement was identifiable when the epileptic discharges were found on her right hemisphere. Conclusion : We suggested that this unexpected convulsive movement is a reflection of earlier exhaustion in the right hemisphere or deefferentation of right hemisphere because of preexisting neuronal damage.

The discovery of tacit knowledge from domain experts is one of the most exciting challenges in today\`s knowledge management. The nature of decision knowledge in determining the quality a firm\`s short-term liquidity is full of abstraction, ambiguity, and incompleteness, and presents a typical tacit knowledge extraction problem. In dealing with knowledge discovery of this nature, we propose a scheme that integrates both knowledge elicitation and knowledge discovery in the knowledge engineering processes. The knowledge elicitation component applies the Verbal Protocol Analysis to establish industrial cases as the basic knowledge data set. The knowledge discovery component then applies fuzzy clustering to the data set to build a fuzzy knowledge based system, which consists of a set of fuzzy rules representing the decision knowledge, and membership functions of each decision factor for verifying linguistic expression in the rules. The experimental results confirm that the proposed scheme can effectively discover the expert\`s tacit knowledge, and works as a feedback mechanism for human experts to fine-tune the conversion processes of converting tacit knowledge into implicit knowledge.

Metaphor, considered as figurative language and used as methods for emphasis and resonance in verbal communications for over two millennia, has had entailed an important role in thought as well as language, especially in creative thought, Also, in architectural design lots of creative works have been produced using metaphor. Metaphorical expression in architectural design can be seen in many great works, therefore metaphorical thought must have been critical in architectural design. This research mainly focuses on what is the mechanism of metaphor in design and how metaphor works in creative architectural design.

Purpose: This study describes the development of a violence prevention educational program for elementary school children using empathy (VPEP-E) that teachers can use during class. Methods: Hoffman's theory of empathy and Seels and Richey's (1994) ADDIE model were applied to develop this program. Results: The developed program consisted of eight sessions: "Orientation/definition of violence and empathy", "Types and boundaries of violence", "Look into my feelings", "Say it with a facial expression", "Preventing non-empathic violence due to social prejudice", "Preventing physical violence", "Verbal and online violence prevention: empathic conversation", and "I can do well: review of the whole curriculum". The program was evaluated by 15 elementary school teachers, who considered it to be easily accessible to elementary school students. The final VPEP-E, which will be provided in eight times for 40 minutes each for fifth-grade students, will provide a basis for preventing violence by fostering empathy. Conclusion: We expect the developed educational program to be effective in preventing violence among elementary school students. However, further research involving children from various age groups is needed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a program for anger management based on self-efficacy. Methods: In this study, four types of approaches to enhance anger control were developed; 1) a role play for vicarious experiences; 2) an assertive training for anger expression; 3) a 30-minute long education program & a 20-minute long telephone call coaching for verbal persuasion; and 4) a booklet for anger management and self care behaviors. One group pretest-posttest design was used for evaluating the program. Study subjects were 6 cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The group were received a 4-week intervention, 60 ~ 90 minutes a day weekly, and measured the variables at baseline, 4 weeks later. Anger-in, anger-out, and anger-control were measured by STAXI-K. Data was analysed by Wilcoxon using SPSS/WIN 12.0 program. Anger situation was analysed according to primary anger-thoughts and secondary anger-thoughts based on cognitive theories of anger. Results: The program for anger management consisted of a role play, assertive training, education, telephone call coaching and a booklet. The program revealed significantly less Anger-in (Z = -1.997, p = .046), anger-out (Z = -2.207, p = .027). No difference, however, was found in anger control (Z= -1.826, p=.068). Conclusion: This evaluation suggested that more assertive training and longer intervention may be needed to maximize anger control.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze how mathematically gifted middle school students find out the necessary and sufficient condition for a certain hyperbolic line to be parallel to a given hyperbolic line in Non-Euclidean disc model (Poincar$\acute{e}$ disc model) using the Geometer's Sketchpad. We also investigated their characteristic of mathematical thinking and analyze how they express what they had observed while they did mental experiments in the Poincar$\acute{e}$ disc using computer-aided construction tools, measurement tools and inductive reasoning.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find out whether Ondam-tang has any effects on adolescence with anxiety disorder Methods : The subject is in regard to 1 case with anxiety disorder who adnutted at ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ Oriental Medical hospital from 29th of June to 7th of July. The herbal therapy (Acupuncture, Moxa, Aroma therapy) is applied. Results : After treatment, in a week, most of symptoms (insomnia, anxiety, the problem of verbal expression, chest discomfort, palpitation, anorexia, digestion, headache, dizziness, thirst, eye discomfort, etc) were subsided. Conclusion : Anxiety disorder is similar to Simdamhugup in Oriental medicine. Ondam-tang has been used for long time for treatment on Simdamhugup. Ondam-tang is effective medication for adolescence with anxiety disorder, but more studies about adolescence and Oriental approach of psychiatries are needed.

Contemporary fashion research has paid increasing attention to the sublimity in the context of postmodernism. Sublimity is considered essential in contemporary fashion design as it arouses complex emotions which verbal expression cannot describe. Therefore, contemporary fashion designs need to be interpreted in terms of the sublimity. Through a detailed review of literature, the present study discusses Kantian and Lyotardian sublimity as main theories representing conventional and cotemporary concepts of sublimity. This paper selected five Korean fashion designers who won the prize of Samsung Design Fund from 2006 to 2019 and actively introduce their works every year. Images were collected to analyze their designs introduced from 2018 S/S to 2019F/W at their website. In addition, formative and color characteristics were analyzed to identify the changing features of s sublimity. Major findings of analyses are as follows. First, all designers' collections reflected both male and female sublimity with the respect to its formative characteristics. Color characteristics of sublimity indicated that Jeong, Wook Jun's collections represented features of male sublimity and other designers works showed elements of female sublimity. Essentially, the typical contemporary concept of the sublimity was found in the designs of Seo, Hye In. Consequently, female sublimity is more inclusive than male sublimity, while being opened to otherness.

자연스러운 상호작용이 가능한 인공지능 에이전트를 개발하기 위해서는 언어적 표현뿐 아니라, 비언어적 표현 또한 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 발화문으로부터 비언어적 표현인 모션을 생성하는 연구를 소개한다. 유튜브 영상으로부터 데이터셋을 구축하고, Text to Motion의 기존 모델인 T2M-GPT와 이종 모달리티 데이터를 연계 학습한 VL-KE-T5의 언어 인코더를 활용하여 구현한 모델로 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과, 한국어 발화 텍스트에 대해 생성된 모션 표현은 FID 스코어 0.11의 성능으로 나타났으며, 한국어 발화 정보 기반 비언어 표현 정보 생성의 가능성을 보여주었다.
