환기시스템 적용 도로터널의 국소환기 특성 시뮬레이션 및 해석 (Simulation and Analysis of Local Ventilation characteristic of Road Tunnel with Ventilation System)

  • In this study, a design program for ventilation requirements of a longitudinal raod tunnel were developed and investigated. The control volume method was applied to calculate the local air velocity and the local concentration distribution of pollutants, CO, $NO_x$, soot along the tunnel for various tunnel ventilation system. This program was validated by comparing with the practical design data for the road tunnel ventilation system. The calculation results were in good agreement with the practical design data.

공동주택 화장실의 기계 환기시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical Ventilation System of Bathroom in Apartment House)

  • To design mechanical ventilation for bathroom of apartment houses where air supply and exhaust are taken into consideration, mock-ups of ventilation systems, widely used in bathroom of apartment houses with an area of 100$\textrm{m}^2$, were made and installed in a laboratory. These ventilation mock-ups were available for control of air supply and exhaust, and the sizes of supply openings were 40cm${\times}$1cm, 40cm${\times}$3cm, and 40cm${\times}$5cm. They were installed at five positions, spaced 45cm at a height of 5cm from the floor. The exhaust fan was designed for its operating voltage to be set to five steps(100V, 130V, 150V, 180V and 220V) in order to control its air flow rates. When the size and position of each supply opening were changed with the wind velocity of the exhaust fan set to the step 5, the ventilation rates were measured and analyzed by the concentration decay method of tracer gas method, in order to present an efficient mechanical ventilation system. The results of the study revealed that the ventilations rates would increase in the presence of supply openings, compared to the absence of supply openings, and that the larger the size of the supply opening, the more the ventilation rates. Therefore, it was found necessary to take air supply into consideration.

국내 이유자돈사 환기시설 실태 조사 (The Survey for Ventilation Systems of Weaned Pig House in Korea)

  • This survey was conducted to give the basic information for ventilation systems of weaned pig house to establish the acceptable ventilation system in Korea. A total of 11 farms were surveyed in this study and 1 more farm in each province was regionally selected. The general information, inlet and outlet ventilation system, alley in house, space allowance of weaned pigs and manure management were surveyed. Space allowance of weaned pig in 82% of surveyed farms met the legal standard. Side wall inlet and outlet ventilation system were 82% and 73% of surveyed farms, respectively. Moreover, 73% farms have alley in the pig house to control temperature of inlet air. In this survey, both planar slot and circular duct inlet system and side wall fan outlet system could be a favorable ventilation system in weaned pig house.

  • This is to provide basic information and technical data, supported by literature search, for use in designing and /or evaluating ventilation systems for broiler shelters. At first, the general design information including weather data, building requirements, ventilation requirements, and supplemental heating and cooling, was presented. Then, environment requirements for broilers, which are for temperature, humidity, air movement, radiant heat, were described and the optimal ventilation systems for broiler were developed.

제연방식과 풍량에 따른 제연성능의 수치적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Smoke Control for Smoke Control Systems and Air Flowrate)

  • 제연방식과 풍량에 따른 실내에 유입된 연기의 제연성능을 조사하기 위해 Fire Dynamics Simulator의 대와류모사를 사용하였다. 급기구와 배기구, 개구부가 있는 크기 2m X 2m X 2.4m의 실내에 급기방식과 배기방식, 급배기방식의 제연설비를 각각 가동했을 때 실내에 무작위로 분포한 입자의 감소율을 조사하였고, 급배기방식에서 풍량에 따른 입자의 감소율을 비교하였다. 세가지 제연방식 중 배기방식과 급배기방식은 제연성능에 차이가 없었으나, 개구부가 있는 경우에는 급기방식이 다른 두 제연방식에 비해 제연성능이 떨어졌다. 또 급배기방식에서 풍량이 감소하면 제연성능이 급격히 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과로부터 대형 개구부가 많은 지하철역 등에는 급기방식 대신에 급배기방식 또는 배기방식의 제연설비를 사용해야하며, 신속하게 연기를 배출하기 위해 풍량을 높게 할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • Over 70% of the land is mountains in Korea, so that many roadways naturally includes tunnels. The air flow inside tunnel has complex characteristics, such that a new flow field is formed by following vehicles passing through the tunnel before previous flow field is stabilized. Due to these time delayed-transient characteristics, the ventilation facility requires the complex control algorithm that can handle adaptive and predictive controls. Also, it needs to be closely related to the disaster prevention system. The technology to integrate these system determines the success of TGMS. The pollutant levels exhausted from the vehicles passing through tunnel depend on vehicle years and passing velocity. They also depend on the slope and altitude of the tunnel. In order to solve this problem, an algorithm for estimating the compensating factors for calculating on design capacity of ventilation facilities was developed. Also, an integrated ventilation control algorithm with disaster prevention program to operate several tunnels was developed based on TGMS.

창호일체형 환기장치의 소음분석 및 저감방안 (Noise Analysis and Reduction Methods of the All-in One Window Ventilation System)

  • 최근 창호의 창틀에 폐열회수장치를 삽입한 일체형 환기장치인 일명 "창호일체형 폐열회수 환기장치"를 개발됨으로써 창문을 열지 않고도 에너지 손실을 최소화하면서 실내외 공기를 교환할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 이 장치의 작동시 기계소음과 공력소음이 발생하여 실제 주거시설에 적합하지 않은 면이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 창호일체형 환기장치의 소음을 설치상태와 무향실에서 측정하고 소음의 발생 원인과 소음전달 취약부분을 분석하였다. 또한, 창호일체형 환기장치내의 차음재와 흡음재를 설치하여 소음을 제어하기 위한 대안을 제시하였다. 연구결과, 환기장치의 소음원은 블로워로 나타났으며 소음의 주된 누출 원인은 환기장치 구조체의 낮은 차음성능 때문이었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 이를 제어하기 위하여 장치 내부에 고무시트 등의 차음재를 설치한 결과 폐열회수환기장치의 소음기준인 40 dBA 이하를 만족함을 알 수 있었다.

초고층 건물에서 연기이동 복합력에 의한 환기계획 (The Ventilation Plane Due to Smoke Driving Combined Forces in Super High-Rise Buildings)

  • 초고층 건물의 환기계획에서 설비의 효율적인 운영을 위해 환기설비는 제연설비 겸용으로 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지하 4층 지상 59층의 초고층 건물을 분석모델로 선정하고 수치해석을 통해 연기이동력에 의한 층별 압력분포를 검토하였으며, 분석모델 건물에서의 연기이동력이 환기 및 제연에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 또한 이들 결과를 바탕으로 분석모델 건물의 환기계획에서 주방용 환기댐퍼를 환기-제연 겸용으로 설계할 때 연기이동의 복합력과 요구되는 댐퍼의 개폐력과의 관계를 운동해석 시뮬레이션을 통해 결정하였고, 그 결과로부터 적합한 댐퍼의 구동장치를 선정하였다.

대와류모사를 이용한 연기이동의 연구 II. 제연방식과 개구부의 크기 (A Study on Smoke Movement by Using Large Eddy Simulation II. Smoke Control Systems and Opening Size)

  • The large eddy simulation based Fire Dynamics Simulator was utilized to investigate the effects of the size of an opening on smoke removal performance for the three smoke control systems-ventilation purge, and extraction. Three different opening sizes, $r_A$=1, 2, and 3 were investigated while the flow rate remained 0.75 $m^3/s$ at the inlet or outlet depending on the systems. Increase of the opening size did not give a significant difference in the smoke removal rate for the three smoke control systems, though the increasing opening size slightly improved smoke removal. The extraction system was shown the best smoke control system, and the purge system yielded low performance compared to the other two systems for all the different opening sizes.

지하역사 제연모드 승객피난 성능평가 (PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF PASSENGERS' EVACUATION FOR SMOKE-CONTROL MODES IN A SUBWAY STATION)

  • Heat/smoke detectors are installed in most subway platforms in Korea to detect fire. Subway platform is divided by smoke-control zones for efficient smoke-control. Once the detectors detect heat or smoke, the smoke-control ventilation system in the platform and concourse is activated according to the smoke-control ventilation mode. Smoke-control mode during fires in Korean subway platforms is that the smoke zones operate by exhausting smoke while other zones in the platform and in the concourse which is the upper floor of the platform operate by supplying air or stopping any ventilation. This study is conducted to evaluate performance of passengers' evacuation for various smoke control modes in the subway station. Distribution of smoke and heat due to fire on the platform is analyzed by using Fire Dynamics Simulator(FDS V 4.06) of NIST. Various smoke-control ventilation modes and locations of fire are considered. Evacuation and movement of passengers within the platform is simulated by building EXODUS V.4.0.
