  • A PID controller integrated with a velocity feedback is designed for fluid power elevator model system in this study. In this case, for outside disturbance load a hydraulic cylinder and a pressure control valve are used. In this method overshoot is reduced and settling time becomes also shorter than the values achieved from the PID controller system only In conclusion a PID controller integrated with a velocity feedback is considered a suitable control method for fluid power elevator system.

  • The longitudinal velocity (forward speed) having significant importance in proper running of railway wheelset on track, depends greatly upon the adhesion ratio and creep analysis by implementation of suitable dynamic system on contamination. The wet track condition causes slip and slide of vehicle on railway tracking, whereas high speed may also increase slip and skidding to severe wear and deterioration of mechanical parts. The basic aim of this research is to design appropriate model aimed estimator that can be used to control railway vehicle forward velocity to avoid slip. For the filtration of disturbance procured during running of vehicle, the kalman filter is applied to estimate the actual signal on preferered samples of creep co-efficient for observing the applied attitude of noise. Thus error level is detected on higher and lower co-efficient of creep to analyze adhesion to avoid slip and sliding. The skidding is usually occurred due to higher forward speed owing to procured disturbance. This paper guides to minimize the noise and error based upon creep coefficient.

  • 능동 합성 개구면 소나를 운용하는 소형 수중 무인체는 외부 수중환경의 영향으로 진행경로에 여러 가지 속도 교란이 발생될 수 있으며, 이는 코히어런트 합성 개구면 처리시 위상 오차를 발생시켜 탐지 이미지에 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 진행방향으로 주기적 사인형태의 속도 교란이 발생될 때 각 위치에서 왕복 진행 경사거리에 의해 발생되는 위상을 다중 수신 신호에 대한 상호상관 계수를 추정한 후 중첩된 DPC에서의 위치변위를 최대 허용범위 내에서의 평균값으로 보상하는 방법을 제시하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 수중 무인체의 속도 교란 크기 및 변동 주파수에 의해 손상된 이미지는 제시된 위상 보상 방법으로 허위 표적 제거 및 방위해상도의 성능이 개선됨을 확인하였다.

  • High-speed/high-accuracy control of robot manipulator becomes more and more stringent because of the external disturbance and nonlinear characteristics. To meet this ends, lots of control strategies were proposed in the past such as the computed torque control, the nonlinear decoupled feedback control, and adaptive control. These control methods need computations of the inverse dynamics and require much computational effort. Recently, a disturbance observer with unmodeled robot dynamics and simple algorithms to motion control have been widely studied. This paper proposes a motor control strategy based on the disturbance observer which estimate the disturbance of each joint from input-output relationship of the actuator and eliminate the estimated disturbance including the torque due to modeling errors, coupling force, nonlinear friction, and so on. To apply the disturbance observer to closedloop system like velocity servo pack, the modified control structure was constructed and shown that it is equivalent to a disturbance observer in open-loop system. Finally, using the proposed approach, simulation and experiments were carried out for a two-degree-of-freedom SCARA type direct drive robot, and show some results to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

  • This paper presents the system modeling, analysis, and controller design and implementation for a rotational inverted pendulum system(RIPS), which is an under-actuated system and has the problem of unattainable angular velocity state. A sliding mode controller using the parameterization of both the hyperplane and the compensator fur output feedback is applied to the RIPS. Also, to improve the performance of the control system, a disturbance observer which estimates the disturbance, parameter variation, and some modeling errors of RIPS with less computational effort is used together. The results of simulation and experiment show that the proposed control system has superior performance for disturbance rejection and regulation at certain initial conditions.

  • The final aim of our research project is a study on assessment of automatic steering system of ships in open seas. In order to achieve this aim we need to know the characteristics of each component of the system and also to know the characteristics of disturbance to ship dynamcis. In this paper we provide calculation method of irregular disturbance to ships in autopilot navigation in open seas and also show calculation examples about two kinds of ship ore carrier and fishing boat. The disturbance consists of irregular wave and random wind, The disturbance is calculated as equivalent yaw angular velocity. Each spectrum and time history of disturbance are reasonably evaluated. Further investigation concerning to performance index of autopilot system and energy loss related to automatic course keeping will be dealt with in another paper,

  • The objects of study is to propose criteria for physical river disturbance assessment and as case study to show the application results for river improvement. For this purpose, the river disturbance assessment method for past disturbance process and the present-day potential natural state of stream is proposed. To assess the disturbance of the Youngcheon River caused by river improvement, One ares of Nam River was selected for the reference reach and two areas of Youngcheon River were selected for the comparison reach. And these reaches were surveyed and analyzed according to applying criteria of the river disturbances assessment. The assessment indices were physical factors as like epifaunal (bottom), embededness, velocity/depth regime, sediment deposition, channel flow status, channel alteration, frequency of riffles, bank stability, vegetative protection and riparian zone etc. The results showed that physical river environment in Youngcheon River area was disturbed by artificial revetment and bed excavation, consequently this disturbance give rise to impact of ecosystem in river. Hereafter, the criteria for river disturbance assessment are needed to consider various river characters as bed materials and bed slop etc.

  • CMG의 발생 토크는 김블의 각속도에 비례하고 위성의 자세제어에 직접적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 김블의 토크 리플 저감이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 토크 리플의 발생 원인을 베어링에 의한 마찰 불균형, 모터의 자기장과 상전류 불균형으로 가정하여 이를 수학적으로 모델링한다. 김블의 정속 구동 데이터를 통해 모델링의 파라미터를 추정하고 이를 이용하여 피드포워드 제어로 적용할 경우 영향성을 분석한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 토크 리플과 각속도 변동이 저감되는 것을 확인하여 외란 모델링을 이용한 외란 저감 기법을 제시한다.
