  • LED is low power and pro-environment semiconductor element. That can be used not only as the lighting function but also for Visible Light Communication(VLC). The VLC is the communication technology that can send data by blinking a fluorescent or LED using visible spectrum. That velocity of blinking can not be usually recognized by eyesight. Visible Light Communication using LED can be used in many fields. In the field of ITS(Intelligent Transportation System), Under construction on the road, Emitting traffic signs can be applied to transfer the vehicle information. In this paper, Emitting traffic signs in addition to the VLC give information about road condition, safety distance and the lane change. We design Communication protocol to provide safety service and verify protocol by experiment.

  • Safety of railroad is result of reliability which is received from test & evaluation of system. Railroad system is consisted of various sub system such as vehicle, supply of electric power, signal, communication, rail track construction, operation. To secure safety of railroad, evaluation about parts, assembly, sub system, whole system etc.. that compose railroad is essential. In this paper, I wish to describe for results that analyze korean tilting vehicle's derailment coefficient developed by national research achievement. Confirmed that is possible even if speed up, curved line department running speed that estimate korean tilting vehicle's running safety in curved line track of Jungang Line about 20 km/h than present operating speed.

  • In Korea, various studies on autonomous vehicles are being conducted with the aim of commercializing the fully autonomous driving (Lv.4) on major roads in 2027. Currently, the communication between non-autonomous vehicles and road users is made with gestures, eye contact, and verbal signals. In the case of autonomous vehicles in the future, autonomous vehicles should communicate instead of drivers. Recently, V2H communication technology (communication technology between autonomous vehicles and road users) is being developed. This study shows technology priorities using the KANO model in caution (warning) and traffic (concession) situations. As a result, a total of six attractive quality technologies were analyzed: technology to provide dark warning information in a display graphic; technology to provide dark warning information in a projection graphic; technology to provide light concession information in a display graphic; technology to provide dark concession information in a display graphic. In the future, it will investigate the preference of users in providing V2H information by road situation. It will be used as a V2H design priority.

  • In this paper, autonomous vehicles of service with existing vehicle accident for the prevention of the vehicle communication technology, self-driving techniques, brakes automatic control technology, artificial intelligence technologies such as well and developed the vehicle accident this occur to death or has been techniques, can prepare various safety cases intended to minimize the injury. In this paper, it is a study to secure safety in autonomous vehicles. This is determined according to spatial factors such as chip signals for general low-power short-range wireless communication and micro road AI. On the other hand, in this paper, the safety of boarding is improved by checking the signal from the electronic chip, up to "recognition of the emotion from residence time in the sensing area" to the biological electronic chip. As a result of demonstrating the reliability of the world countries the world, inducing safety autonomous system of all passengers in terms of safety. Unmanned autonomous vehicle riding and commercialization will lead to AI systems and biochips (Verification), linked IoT on the road in the near future, and the safety technology reliability of the world will be highlighted.

  • Construction of our machine "Digital Tacho Graph" toghether with development and intergrated management system information is attached under Traffic Safety Law in article submission. This machine "Digital Tach Graph" has been mandated on a priority basis. The entire machine is constructed with specialised components to collect data that can retrive basic information.   • Lately, in the automotive market appeared keywords such as convenience, safety in presentation and increase importance of pan of vehicle. Accordingly, the use of many electronic devices was required essentially and communication between electronic devices is being highlighted. Various devices such as controllers, sensors and multimedia device(audio, speakers, video, navigation) in-vehicle connected car network such as CAN, MOST. Modem in-vehicle network managed and operated as purpose of each other. In this Paper, intelligent car navigation considering convenience and safety implement on MOST Network and present system to control CAN Network in vehicle.

  • As the demands for the safety and convenience applications of the vehicles increase, the data load for the In-vehicle Network has increased significantly. As a result, a deterministic and fault-tolerant communication system is required to implement the safety critical applications such as X-by-wire systems. FlexRay communication system is a new standard of network communication system which provides the high speed serial communication, time triggered bus and fault tolerant communication between electronic devices. In addition to time-triggered communication, as providing of the event-triggered communication such as CAN, FlexRay protocol is able to manage the restricted communication resource more effectively. This paper presents the development of FlexRay driver which will be applied to the future ECU's communication system. To develop the FlexRay driver, the FlexRay requirement specification and FlexRay specification is analyzed. The developed FlexRay driver is implemented by using MPC5567 microprocessor of the Freescale semiconductor. To verify the developed FlexRay driver, the waveform of the FlexRay driver was measured and compared with the CAN communication system. As a result, the bus load is reduced about 13% compared with the CAN communication system.

  • The development of Airside Vehicle Control System(AVCS) at Gimpo Airport aims to reduce ground safety accidents in movement area and improve airport operation efficiency and safety management service quality. The vehicle is controlled by a brake controller RTK-antenna and On-Board Diagonostics(OBD) module. Location data is transmitted to a nearby communication base station through a Wi-Fi router and the base station is connected to the AVCS by an optical cable to transmit location data from each vehicle. The vehicle position is precisely corrected to display information using the system. The system allows airport operators to view registered information on aircraft and vehicles and monitor their locations speeds and directions in real time. When a vehicle approaches a dangerous area alarm warnings and remote brake control are possible to prevent accidents caused by carelessness of the driver in advance.

  • Driverless Train Control System has been recently introduced and commercialized in Korea. It is expected that the vehicle with driverless operation system will be used in new lines such as Sinbundang line soon. Therefore it is necessary to change the system operation and conception of the existing train operation system and the necessity of driverless vehicle monitoring system meeting a new paradigm is rising. In order to dispel concerning about safety issues caused by driverless train operation, the importance to establish vehicle error detection, useful fault diagnosis and rapid action plans is higher than ever. For this, efficient and higher level of vehicle supervision & control system should be essentially supported. In this study, remote driverless vehicle monitoring system using by radio communication is suggested to be used for monitoring and controlling important parts of the vehicle and diagnose and take quick actions when vehicles are in trouble at control tower at real time.
