차량 모델의 복잡성이 차량동력학 해석에 미치는 영향 : 모델의 비교 및 검증 (An Effect of the Complexity in Vehicle Dynamic Models on the Analysis of Vehicle Dynamic Behaviors: Model Comparison and Validation)

  • Vehicle dynamic models in handing and stability analysis are divided into three groups: bicycle model, roll axis model and full vehicle model. Bicycle model is a simple linear model, which hag two wheels with load transfer being ignored. Roll axis model treats left and right wheels independently. In this model, load transfer has a great effect on nonlinearity of tire model. Effects of suspension system can be analyzed by using full vehicle model, which is included suspension stroke motions. In this paper, these models are validated and compared through comparison with road test, and the effects of suspension kinematics and compliance characteristics on vehicle motion are analyzed. In handling and stability analysis, roll axis model can simulate the real vehicle motion more accurately than full vehicle model. Compliance steer has a significant effect, but the effect of suspension kinematics is negligible.

  • 본 논문에서는 시간에 따라 방향 속도와 위치가 변하는 무인자동차의 궤적 추적 제어시스템에 대해 논한다. 무인자동차는 운전자의 도움이 없어도 스스로 주위환경을 인식하여 지정된 도로를 주행할 수 있는 자동차로 올바른 주행을 위해 고려해야 할 변수가 다양하다. 무인자동차의 궤적 추적 시스템에서 인식한 정보는 이산적인 값을 가지므로 센스 간의 간격으로 인하여 비연속성 및 비선형성을 가지고 있다. 이로 인하여 목표 궤적을 정확하게 추적하는 것 어렵다. 본 논문은 차량의 운동학 모델링을 통하여 선형오차, 제약 조건, 제어 목표함수의 세 가지 조건을 갖는 무인자동차 궤적 추적시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 궤적 추적시스템을 기반으로 동적 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어-카심(Dynamic Simulation Software-CarSim)의 결합시뮬레이션을 통해 시스템의 성능을 평가하였고, 그 결과로 더욱 정밀하게 목표 궤적을 추적할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • For the strength design of the brake system of a forklift truck, a procedure to calculate the internal forces acting on the system is presented in this paper. Vehicle dynamics, brake system kinematics, and internal force equilibrium analysis are integrated into the procedure. Design parameters such as stopping distance, maximum decceleration, and maximum torque generated by pedal force are considered in the vehicle dynamics, and geometric parameters of the brake system are considered in the brake system kinematics. With the two analysis results obtained, the internal forces acting in the brake system are finally calculated in the procedure.

비행체 운동 역학 기반 경로 추종 시선각 유도 법칙 설계 (Design a Path Following Line-of-Sight Guidance Law based on Vehicle Kinematics)

  • 본 논문에서는 비행체의 운동 역학을 고려한 경로 추종을 위한 시선각 유도 법칙의 유도 게인 설계 기법에 대해 기술하였다. 비례-미분 게인과 접근 거리의 설계 변수로 구성된 시선각 기반 유도 법칙은 유도 게인 결정시 대부분 경험적 또는 실험적인 방법으로 설계하는 것이 일반적인데 이러한 경우 정밀하고 일관적인 경로 추종 성능 보장이 어렵고 비행체 기동 한계 및 운용 속도 등에 따라 설계 변수를 재설계해야하는 단점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 본 연구에서는 비행체의 속도에 따른 운동 역학을 고려하여 설계 변수의 개수를 최소화하고 비행 속도에 따라 유도 법칙 게인이 변화되어 정밀한 경로 추종이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 안정적이고 일관된 성능을 갖는 유도 법칙의 게인 설정 기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법은 비행체의 자세에 대한 1차 응답 속도를 고려한 비선형 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 추종 성능을 평가하였으며 선형 경로와 원형 경로에 대한 비행 시험 을 통해 추종 성능 및 알고리듬의 타당성을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

대차 틸팅 기구의 매개변수 분석 연구 (Parametric Study of a Bogie Tilting Mechanism)

  • Using a conventional railway, a tilting train was applied as a means of improving vehicle speed during curve negotiation without any modification of infrastructure. As a study for the optimum design of the tilting mechanism of a tilting vehicle, the kinematics sensitivity of the tilting mechanism was analyzed. Using the geometric relationship of the linkage-type tilting mechanism, the relationship of the parameters and the performance index was defined using nonlinear algebraic equations. With the defined relation, the effect of change in the parameters on the performance was analyzed. The analysis result can be used in the optimum design of a tilting mechanism that considers the track environment, vehicle and operational condition in which the tilting vehicle is applied.

Forward Kinematics 모델을 이용한 자동차 운전공간의 설계 (A Driver Space Design of Passenger Vehicle using Forward Kinematics Model)

  • This research suggested the mathematical model (forward kinematics method) to provide the reference points of driver space more easily and accurately in designing the package layout of vehicle interiors. For this purpose, the lengths of body segments of drivers and various joint angles occurred while were used. The length data between joints for the mathematical model were extracted from $SAFEWORK^{\circed{R}}$ as well as 95th percentile male and 5th percentile female body dimensions were utilized. In addition, the angles of body segments were applied on its diverse values within proper ranges in order to compare them each other. the mathematical model in this study was based on the concept of converting polar coordinate system to Cartesian coordinate system so that reference points of driver space were acquired in Cartesian coordinate system after using the segment lengths of drivers and the joint angles of driving postures as an input of polar coordinate system. It is expected that reference points of driver space obtained from this research are helpful to the study on package layout that is appropriate for physical characteristics of drivers.

  • This paper proposes a vehicle trajectory prediction method far application to vehicle-to-vehicle distance control. This method is based on 2-dimensional kinematics and a Kalman filter has been used to estimate acceleration of the object vehicle. The simulation results using the proposed control method show that the relative distance characteristics can be improved via the trajectory prediction method compared to the customary intelligent cruise control algorithm.

  • This paper proposes a vehicle trajectory prediction method for application to vehicle-to-vehicle distance control. This method is based on 2-dimensional kinematics and a Kalman filter has been used to estimate acceleration of the object vehicle. The simulation results using the proposed control method show that the relative distance characteristics can be improved via the trajectory prediction method compared to the customary vehicle stop and go cruise control systems which makes the vehicle remain at a safe distance from a preceding vehicle according to the driver's preference, automatically slow down and come to a full stop behind a preceding vehicle.

  • The paper presents research for the established experiment environment of multi vehicle robot, localization algorithm that is based on vehicle control, and path tracking. The established experiment environment consists of ultrasonic positioning system, vehicle robot, server and wireless module. Ultrasonic positioning system measures positioning for using ultrasonic sensor and generates many errors because of the influence of environment such as a reflection of wall. For a solution of this fact, localization algorithm is proposed to determine a location using vehicle kinematics and selection of a reliable location data.
