In order to hold a underwater vehicle at a depth, we can modulate buoyancy that acts on the underwater vehicle. In this research, by using a ballon, we was able to generate buoyancy that could control depth in which vehicle was operate. And in order to control flux of air that was flowed in balloon, we used solenoid valve, relief valve and so on. We derived differential equations of volume of balloon, pressure of inside of balloon, dynamic of underwater vehicle, and air flux for the simulation and linearized these differential equation. So we designed LQG/LTR controller, and applied the controller to nonlinear system. Through the simulation, we compares the nonlinear system with the linear system and investigated the operation of solenoid valve.

This paper describes an Integrate Dynamic Control system with Brake System (IDCB) for SUV vehicles. The system was developed to stabilize the lateral dynamics, maintain the steerability and improve the ride comfort on various roads. A fuzzy logic control method is used to design the IDCB. The performance of the IDCB is validated under different road and driving conditions. The results show that the IDCB tracks the reference yaw rate under all tested conditions; in addition, it reduces the body slip angle and roll angle. When a vehicle runs on a split-${\mu}$ road and a brake input is applied, the IDCB virtually eliminates the lateral dynamics. Thus, the IDCB improves the lateral stability, preserves the steerability and enhances the ride comfort of vehicles.
Active suspension systems have been using for improving ride quality and stability for vehicles. An active suspension system is composed of a hydraulic pump, pressure control valves, hydraulic dampers, vehicle body, tires and other components. In this study, the mathematical model for the active suspension system based on the quarter car concept is derived, and a program for analysing the dynamic behaviour of the suspension system is developed. The computed results by the developed program are compared with the experimental results for confirming the reliability and usefulness of the developed program.

The efficiency of a powertrain system of hybrid vehicle is highly dependent on the design and control of the hybrid powertrain system. In other words, the optimal design of the powertrain systems is coupled with optimal control of the powertrain system. Therefore, the solution of an optimal design problem for hybrid vehicles is computationally and timely very expensive. For example, dynamic programming, which is a recursive optimization method, is usually used to evaluate the best fuel economy of certain hybrid vehicle design, and, thus, the evaluation takes tens of minutes to several hours. This research aims to accelerate the speed of efficiency evaluation of hybrid vehicles. We suggest a mathematical treat and a methodological treat to reduce the computational load. The mathematical treat is that the dynamics of system is discretized with sparse sampling time without loss of energy balance. The methodological treat is that the efficiency of the hybrid vehicle is inferred by characteristic loss evaluation that is computationally inexpensive. With the suggested methodology, evaluating a design candidate of hybrid powertrain system is taken few minutes, which was taken several hours when dynamic programming is used.

Remotely operated vehicles or autonomous underwater vehicles have been used for exploiting seabed natural resources. In this study, the autonomous underwater vehicle of hovering type(HAUV) is developed to observe underwater objects in close distance. A dynamic model with six degrees of freedom is established, capturing the motion characteristics of the HAUV. The equations of motion are generated for the dynamic control simulation of the HAUV. The added mass, drag and lift forces are included in the computer model. Computational fluid dynamics simulation is carried out using this computer model. The drag coefficients are produced from the CFD.

Most power steering systems obtain the power by a hydraulic mechanism. Therefore, it consumes more energy because the oil power should be sustained all the times. Recently, to solve this problem the electric power system has been developed and become widely equipped in passenger vehicles. In this research the simulation integration technique for an electric power steering system with MATLAB/SIMULINK and a full vehicle model with ADAMS has been developed. A full vehicle model interacted with electronic control unit algorithm is concurrently simulated with an impulsive steering wheel torque input. The dynamic responses of vehicle chassis and steering system are evaluated. This integrated method allows engineers to reduce the prototype testing cost and to shorten the developing period.
Since the nonlinearity and uncertainties which inherently exist in vehicle system need to be considered in active suspension control law design, this paper proposes a new control strategy for active vehicle suspension systems by using a combined control scheme, i.e., respectively using a genetic algorithm (GA) based self-tuning PID controller and a fuzzy logic controller in two loops. In the control scheme, the PID controller is used to minimize vehicle body vertical acceleration, the fuzzy logic controller is to minimize pitch acceleration and meanwhile to attenuate vehicle body vertical acceleration further by tuning weighting factors. In order to improve the adaptability to the changes of plant parameters, based on the defined objectives, a genetic algorithm is introduced to tune the parameters of PID controller, the scaling factors, the gain values and the membership functions of fuzzy logic controller on-line. Taking a four degree-of-freedom nonlinear vehicle model as example, the proposed control scheme is applied and the simulations are carried out in different road disturbance input conditions. Simulation results show that the present control scheme is very effective in reducing peak values of vehicle body accelerations, especially within the most sensitive frequency range of human response, and in attenuating the excessive dynamic tire load to enhance road holding performance. The stability and adaptability are also showed even when the system is subject to severe road conditions, such as a pothole, an obstacle or a step input. Compared with conventional passive suspensions and the active vehicle suspension systems by using, e.g., linear fuzzy logic control, the combined PID and fuzzy control without parameters self-tuning, the new proposed control system with GA-based self-learning ability can improve vehicle ride comfort performance significantly and offer better system robustness.
Generally, A Dynamic Absorber by using Active viscous Damping is highlighted for effective suspension system, such as improved ride comfort and handling in the market. Lately, this system based on the Sky-Hook damper theory is introduced by the name of "Active Dynamic Absorber" to us. This system has an excellent performance in contrast to Passive. Adaptive Dynamic Absorber, besides having low cost components of system, low energy consumption. light weight of system. In this viewpoint. most of car-maker will adopt this system in the near future. For this reason, we developed Dynamic Absorber by using Active viscous Damping which is equipped with continuously variable Dynamic Absorber and Control logic consisting Filter and Estimator. control apparatus of Dynamic Absorber operated by 16-bit microprocessor of high performance. variable device of viscous Damping. In the aerospace field, the study on a morphing-wing is in progress to improve flight performance and perform multi flight mission. There are many concepts of morphing-wing such as camber-change, wing-twist, variable-span, and so on. In this study, the aerodynamic characteristics and flight control of an air vehicle with a variable-span morphing wing (VSMW) have been investigated. VSMW with symmetric span control(SSC) can increase cruising range of aircraft by reducing drag in various flight condition. VSMW with anti-symmetric span control(ASSC) can be used in the roll control of an aircraft. The flight control about pure rolling dynamic system and full dynamic system have been performed about the cruise missile.
In this paper, the authors present a row dynamic route planning by Q-learning. The proposed algorithm is executed in a cellular automation based traffic simulator, which is also newly created. In Vehicle Information and Communication System(VICS), which is an active field of Intelligent Transport System(ITS), information of traffic congestion is sent to each vehicle at real time. However, a centralized navigation system is not realistic to guide millions of vehicles in a megalopolis. Autonomous distributed systems should be more flexible and scalable, and also have a chance to focus on each vehicles demand. In such systems, each vehicle can search an own optimal route. We employ Q-learning of the reinforcement learning method to search an optimal or sub-optimal route, in which route drivers can avoid traffic congestions. We find some applications of the reinforcement learning in the "static" environment, but there are ...
