플라스틱 단하지보조기 중재가 뇌졸중 후 편마비 성인의 보행과 균형에 미치는 효과: 국내 학위 논문을 중심으로 고찰 (Effects of a Plastic Ankle Foot Orthosis on Balance and Gait of Adult with Poststroke Hemiplegia: A Systematic Review of Forcusing on Korea's Thesis)

  • Purpose : The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of plastic ankle foot orthosis on adult post-stroke hemiplegic patients walking ability and balance. Method : The searched for the case controlled clinical trials about the effects of plastic ankle foot orthosis(pAFO) for walking ability and balance using quantitative gait analysis in adult post-stroke patients. Ten trials were selected from Riss4U databases published until June 2016 in Korea. The selected trials contained a control group with pre-test and post-test design, measured walking ability and balance as a dependent variable. Result : The selected ten trials involved a total of 180 patients. The walking speed, cadence, the portion of double limb supporting, stride length on affected side were improved by plastic ankle foot orthosis. Conclusion : The plastic ankle foot orthosis has some evidence to improve the walking ability and balance in post-stroke hemiplegic patients.

제동압력 제한밸브의 모터싸이클 ABS에의 적용 (Application of a Brake Pressure Restriction Valve to a Motorcylce ABS)

  • This paper presents an of a brake pressure restriction valve to a motorcycle anti-lock brake system(ABS). In the conventional anti-lock brake system of automobiles, slip ratio as a control variable is actively controlled, which requires wheel speed sensors, ECU, and a pressure modulator. In the ABS valve that has been developed for use in motorcycles, however, the brake pressure that is close to the wheel locking pressure is preset by simple exercises and then the valve just allows to pass the wheel locking pressure and cutoff the remaining pressure. Simulation studies with a single wheel braking dynamics and lumped chassis model show that the pressure restriction valve has basic ABS functions as well as some robustness properties for the uncertain load and road conditions as well as various initial braking speeds. Field tests also show that the pressure restriction valve avoids the wheel locking effectively.

  • A grid connection algorithm is proposed for the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) which is widely adopted in high power variable speed wind turbine. Before the stator of DFIG is connected to grid, rotor-side converter is used to control the induced stator voltage. As a result, the stator transient current is limited below the rate value during the connection by the proposed synchronization of the stator voltage to the grid voltage. A wind power generation simulator using DC motor and wound-rotor induction generator is built and the dynamic characteristics of proposed algorithm is verified experimentally.

  • The application of the electric propulsion system to the vessels has recently become common due to the latest technology for controlling the electric motors with variable speed. However it has been found that harmonic distortion exists in the electric propulsion system, which consists of an electric motor, a converter and an inverter, and this harmonic distortion has a harmful effect on the system. In this paper, the definition of the harmonic distortion and problems caused by the harmonic distortion in the electric propulsion of the vessels are introduced and the practical solutions for the problems are investigated.

  • In the present study, various experiments were performed to investigate capacity modulation and refrigerant flow distribution of a multi-heat pump using a variable speed compressor and electronic expansion valves(EEVs) in the cooling mode. Based on the experimental results, it was possible to understand the interrelation of dual indoor units which provides some difficulties in capacity control of each indoor unit. The characteristics of capacity modulation of two indoor units were measured by controlling two EEVs with a cooling load of each indoor unit.

Comparison of Various Methods to Mitigate the Flicker Level of DFIG in Considering the Effect of Grid Conditions

  • The short circuit ratio (SCR) of a given grid is able to show the stability of the system in the case of unwanted elements, such as wind turbulence. This paper presents the simulation of a model of the doubly fed induction generator in the simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC. This model has been used to study flicker during continuous operation and the effect of SCR and grid impedance angle on flicker emission. Simulation results show that compensation of the stator reactive power is an effective method to considerably reduce the flicker levels, irrespective of the grid conditions.

  • Much attention has given to EMI effects created by variable speed ac drive system. This paper focuses on the switching technique to mitigate common mode voltage. Zero switching states of inverter control invoke large common mode voltage. Using inversed carrier wave, zero switching states are removed. In addition, proposed technique is easy to apply to existing 2-level inverter design. Simulation results show that common mode voltages adapting proposed technique are reduced regarding conventional method.

  • A novel phase error predictor is proposed for servo system in home-use VCRs. The multirate system in VCRs is converted into a single period sampling system with faster sampling time by using the proposed novel phase error predictor. And the disturbances can be measured much faster. From the experimental results, we can see that the perfomance of the control system is improved greatly. The phase lock time of the proposed servo system is ten times faster than that of the conventional system.

  • Maximum power point tracking(MPPT) techniques are used in photovoltaic systems to maximize the PV array output power by tracking continuously the maximum power point which depends on panels temperature and on irradiance conditions. This paper proposes a variable step size MPPT algorithm which can improve the MPPT speed and accuracy. Depending on insolation and temperature, the MPPT controller gives optimized step size. The effectiveness of the proposed system is verified thorough PSIM simulation and experiments on a 50[W] prototype. The experimental results confirm that the PV power of the improved P&O method is higher than that of the traditional P&O method.

저가형 스위치드 릴럭턴스 모터 드라이브 시스템 개발 (Design and Development of Low-Cost Switched Reluctance Motor Drive System)

  • A Low cost and variable speed brushless motor drive system with single switch per phase is presented. The motor drive is realized with a novel two-phase flux-reversal-free switched reluctance motor and a split AC two switch converter. The strategy of the controller and the converter for its realization are described. Comparisons between a split AC converter, asymmetric converter, split DC converter, single controllable switch converter, and N+1 converter are performed for its device rating, cost, switching losses and conduction losses, and converter efficiency. The split AC converter is analyzed and simulated to verify the characteristics of the converter circuitry and control feasibility and the simulation results are presented. The efficiency with various loads is numerically estimated and experimentally compared from viewpoint of subsystem and system in details. The focus of this paper is to compare the presented motor drive system to the asymmetric converter system throughout experiments and demonstrate single switch per phase converter having comparable efficiency as the asymmetric converter system.
